While teaching physics at Berkeley, Oppenheimer, over the objections of some concerned military men, was named the wartime head of the Manhattan Project at Los Alamos Laboratory, in 1942. Though his technical role in creating the monstrous weapon –which Jewish mad scientists such as Albert Einstein and Leo Szilard hoped to drop on German civilians — was nil to minimal, it is Oppenheimer who, absurdly, gets the historical credit as “father of the atomic bomb.” (((They))) always manage to get the credit for everything, don’t they? In his role as Project Director, Oppenheimer — who himself had more communist front affiliations than one could shake a hammer & sickle at — opened the door and “looked the other way” as a whole rats’ nest of subversive Jews and other Marxists penetrated Los Alamos and passed on the secrets to their Soviet contacts. Imagine that — telling an outspoken One-Worlder who absolutely reeked of redness that he may no longer have access the nation’s top secrets. Oh those horrible, horrible “McCarthyites!” On a personal level, Red Robert was truly a rotten human being and quite insane (aren’t all Jewish Marxists?) An event which occurred in 1924 tells us all we need to know about the true character and mental state of this sainted charlatan. Oppenheimer had been accepted to study as a physicist at the prestigious Christ’s College of the University of Cambridge. While there, he was placed under the tutelage of a brilliant experimental physicist named Patrick Blackett — a true genius who would go on win a Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on cosmic rays and magnetism. Due to his own ineptitude in the laboratory (real science) — Oppenheimer became insanely jealous of Blackett’s skills as an experimental physicist. Oppenheimer’s “clumsiness” in the lab is a matter of admitted historical record. Frauds like Oppenheimer and Einstein may know how to crunch numbers, but they lack the creative mental stuff needed to discover and invent — and they know it! In 1926, while on vacation with two friends, the mad young man confessed to them that he had to return to Cambridge immediately. In a fit of jealous wrath, Oppenheimer had coated an apple in noxious chemicals and placed it on Blackett’s desk. Afterwards, probably fearful of being discovered, he wanted to make sure that Blackett was alright. Fortunately, Blackett had not eaten the poisoned fruit. When informed of his dirty deed, the University began to move ahead with plans to press charges against the would-be potential murderer. After the intervention of his wealthy and well-connected parents, Oppenheimer was instead placed on academic probation and ordered to undergo psychiatric evaluations. On another occasion, the insecure and ever-jealous psychopath tried to strangle a fellow roommate (and future famous writer) named Francis Fergusson, after he had announced to Oppenheimer that he had just gotten engaged to be married. Fergusson easily fended off the 130 pound weakling, and remained sympathetic to his pathetic school mate. Yet he had always and would always regard Oppenheimer as mentally ill (here). Indeed, Oppenheimer himself later told Fergusson that his troubles were caused and fueled by personal frustration with his experimental inabilities. Closer than ever: It is now 89 seconds to midnight
In 2024, humanity edged ever closer to catastrophe. Trends that have deeply concerned the Science and Security Board continued, and despite unmistakable signs of danger, national leaders and their societies have failed to do what is needed to change course. Consequently, we now move the Doomsday Clock from 90 seconds to 89 seconds to midnight—the closest it has ever been to catastrophe. Our fervent hope is that leaders will recognize the world’s existential predicament and take bold action to reduce the threats posed by nuclear weapons, climate change, and the potential misuse of biological science and a variety of emerging technologies.
In setting the Clock one second closer to midnight, we send a stark signal: Because the world is already perilously close to the precipice, a move of even a single second should be taken as an indication of extreme danger and an unmistakable warning that every second of delay in reversing course increases the probability of global disaster. Every second, do they mean real seconds? Or the kind of seconds applied on the Doomsday Clock?
In regard to nuclear risk, the war in Ukraine, now in its third year, looms over the world; the conflict could become nuclear at any moment because of a rash decision or through accident or miscalculation. Or by the deliberate design of the ruling elite. Conflict in the Middle East threatens to spiral out of control into a wider war without warning. The countries that possess nuclear weapons are increasing the size and role of their arsenals, investing hundreds of billions of dollars in weapons that can destroy civilization. The nuclear arms control process is collapsing, and high-level contacts among nuclear powers are totally inadequate given the danger at hand. Alarmingly, it is no longer unusual for countries without nuclear weapons to consider developing arsenals of their own—actions that would undermine longstanding nonproliferation efforts and increase the ways in which nuclear war could start.
The impacts of climate change increased in the last year as myriad indicators, including sea-level rise and global surface temperature, surpassed previous records. The global greenhouse gas emissions that drive climate change continued to rise. Extreme weather and other climate change-influenced events—floods, tropical cyclones, heat waves, drought, and wildfires—affected every continent. And who, we should ask are the ones responsible for GEOENGINEERING, WEATHER MANIPULATION and AGITATION OF OUR IONOSPERE AND STRATOSPHERE? SINCE THAT IS HAPPENING GLOBALLY THERE MUST BE SOME POWER BEHIND IT. The long-term prognosis for the world’s attempts to deal with climate change remains poor, as most governments fail to enact the financing and policy initiatives necessary to halt global warming. Growth in solar and wind energy has been impressive but remains insufficient to stabilize the climate. Judging from recent electoral campaigns, climate change is viewed as a low priority in the United States and many other countries.
In the biological arena, emerging and re-emerging diseases continue to threaten the economy, society, and security of the world. AND WHO, one should ask is responsible for all the biological weapons and manmade diseases coming out of labs all over the world? Who is responsible for bringing back the old diseases in newly developed and highly contagious SuperBugs that can cross the blood/brain barrier? The off-season appearance and in-season continuance of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI), its spread to farm animals and dairy products, and the occurrence of human cases have combined to create the possibility of a devastating human pandemic. Supposedly high-containment biological laboratories continue to be built throughout the world, but oversight regimes for them are not keeping pace, increasing the possibility that pathogens with pandemic potential may escape. Rapid advances in artificial intelligence have increased the risk that terrorists or countries may attain the capability of designing biological weapons for which countermeasures do not exist.
An array of other disruptive technologies advanced last year in ways that make the world more dangerous. Systems that incorporate artificial intelligence in military targeting have been used in Ukraine and the Middle East, and several countries are moving to integrate artificial intelligence into their militaries. Such efforts raise questions about the extent to which machines will be allowed to make military decisions—even decisions that could kill on a vast scale, including those related to the use of nuclear weapons. Tensions among the major powers are increasingly reflected in competition in space, where China and Russia are actively developing anti-satellite capabilities; the United States has alleged that Russia has tested a satellite with a dummy warhead on it, suggesting plans to place nuclear weapons in orbit.
The dangers we have just listed are greatly exacerbated by a potent threat multiplier: the spread of misinformation, disinformation, and conspiracy theories that degrade the communication ecosystem and increasingly blur the line between truth and falsehood. OK, here we go. This is really in the claw of the elite. They DO NO WANT THE TRUTH TO COME OUT BEFORE THEY ARE READY. SO THEY WANT TO TARGET ANYONE WHO DOES NOT PARROT THEIR LIES AS PUBLIC ENEMIES SO THEY CAN WIPE US OUT! Advances in AI are making it easier to spread false or inauthentic information across the internet—and harder to detect it. The mainstream Media are the biggest producers and expounders of lies and deception, AI has now joined them in the practice. The truth is being ERASED from the INTERNET and anyone speaking TRUTH is being SILENCED. At the same time, nations are engaging in cross-border efforts to use disinformation and other forms of propaganda to subvert elections, while some technology, media, and political leaders aid the spread of lies and conspiracy theories. THE BIGGEST TOOL THE ENEMY/SATAN HAS IS DECEPTION. THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN SO. IF HE CAN GET YOU TO BELIEVE THE LIE, HIS WORK IS DONE. This corruption of the information ecosystem undermines the public discourse and honest debate upon which democracy depends. The battered information landscape is also producing leaders who discount science and endeavor to suppress free speech and human rights, compromising the fact-based public discussions that are required to combat the enormous threats facing the world. THE ONLY WAY ANYONE CAN DISCERN THE TRUTH IS BY THE POWER OF GOD.
Blindly continuing on the current path is a form of madness. The United States, China, and Russia have the collective power to destroy civilization. These three countries have the prime responsibility to pull the world back from the brink, and they can do so if their leaders seriously commence good-faith discussions about the global threats outlined here. Despite their profound disagreements, they should take that first step without delay. The world depends on immediate action. When you see all those countries come together in agreement you will know the world is at the end.

They worry about the threat of escalating conflicts involving nuclear-armed countries, citing the Russia-Ukraine war, May’s conflict between India and Pakistan and whether Iran is capable of developing nuclear weapons after strikes last summer by the U.S. and Israel.
International trust and cooperation is essential because, “if the world splinters into an us-versus-them, zero-sum approach, it increases the likelihood that we all lose,” said Daniel Holz, chair of the group’s science and security board.
The group also highlighted droughts, heat waves and floods linked to global warming, as well as the failure of nations to adopt meaningful agreements to fight global warming — singling out U.S. President Donald Trump’s efforts to boost fossil fuels and hobble renewable energy production.
Starting in 1947, the advocacy group used a clock to symbolize the potential and even likelihood of people doing something to end humanity. At the end of the Cold War, it was as close as 17 minutes to midnight. In the past few years, to address rapid global changes, the group has changed from counting down the minutes until midnight to counting down the seconds.
The group said the clock could be turned back if leaders and nations worked together UNDER A GLOBAL AGENDA AND SURRENDERING THEIR SOVEREIGN RIGHTS! to address existential risks.

What is the Doomsday Clock?
The Doomsday Clock is a symbolic timepiece showing how close we are to “destroying our world with dangerous technologies of our own making”, according to BAS, a Chicago-based nonprofit organisation that controls the clock.
It describes it as “many things all at once: It’s a metaphor, it’s a logo, it’s a brand, and it’s one of the most recognisable symbols in the past 100 years.”

How is the clock set?
The hands of the clock are moved closer to or farther away from midnight based on the scientists’ reading of existential threats at a particular time.
BAS updates the time annually. A board of scientists and other experts in nuclear technology and climate science, including 10 Nobel laureates, discuss world events and determine where to place the hands of the clock each year.
“We look at data, as physicians look at lab tests and x-rays, and also take harder-to-quantify factors into account, as physicians do when talking with patients and family members. We consider as many symptoms, measurements, and circumstances as we can. Then we come to a judgment that sums up what could happen if leaders and citizens don’t take action to treat the conditions,” it adds.
Has the clock ever turned back?
Yes, the most notable event was in 1991 when US President George HW Bush and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev signed the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START) Remember George HW Bush and his speech about establishing the NEW WORLD ORDER and about the glory of the “THOUSAND POINTS OF LIGHT” to reduce the number of their countries’ nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles.

During that time, the clock was set at seven minutes to midnight. But after the Soviet Union successfully tested its first atomic bomb in 1949, Rabinowitch, who was then the bulletin’s editor, moved the clock to three minutes to midnight.
According to the University of Chicago, until recently, the closest it had ever been set was at two minutes to midnight: in 1953 when the US and the Soviet Union tested thermonuclear weapons and in 2018 because of “a breakdown in the international order, of nuclear actors, as well as the continuing lack of action on climate change”.

From 1947 to today, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, keepers of the “doomsday clock”—a holdover from the atomic age and Cold War—has predicted doom by moving the hands of a prop clock closer to or further away from midnight. Midnight represents a global doom disaster in progress.
In a breathless press release on January 23, which included a cameo from former California governor and climate activist Jerry Brown, the group announced that due to “climate change,” the world is 20 seconds closer to midnight, standing at 100 seconds (1 minute 40 seconds) before midnight.

Civilization-ending nuclear war—whether started by design, blunder, or simple miscommunication—is a genuine possibility. Climate change that could devastate the planet is undeniably happening. And for a variety of reasons that include a corrupted and manipulated media environment, democratic governments and other institutions that should be working to address these threats have failed to rise to the challenge.
In essence, they are saying nuclear war and climate change are equivalent threats. Such a comparison is mind-bogglingly ridiculous.
Consider that climate change has no “hair trigger” like nuclear catastrophe does. Some despot or dictator who obtains a nuclear weapon is entirely different from the slow change of climate over 100 years.
Yet, these supposedly learned scientists have embraced the hype of “climate emergency” as if it was on par with a nuclear hair trigger. Lamenting the lack of action and interest in climate change, they write:
Lip service continued, with some governments now echoing many scientists’ use of the term “climate emergency.” But the policies and actions that governments proposed were hardly commensurate to an emergency. Exploration and exploitation of fossil fuels continues to grow.
Because all governments don’t sense an “emergency” and have not pulled the plug on electricity grids powered by fossil fuels, the Atomic Scientists are in despair.
They would actually like us to believe that we are presently in more danger of global apocalypse than during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Really? Ask yourself this: Do you feel like climate change may burn your town to a crisp any day now? Do we need to implement “duck and cover” exercises for school kids in case the boogeyman of climate change sweeps down and attacks a city?
The threat comparison between nuclear war and climate change is patently absurd—there’s really no other way to describe it.
Interestingly, it wasn’t until 2007 that “climate change” became a main target on the radar of the atomic scientists. That was one year after Al Gore released his widely viewed scary movie known as An Inconvenient Truth. Since then, “climate change” has been listed as a doomsday factor in each of the eight clock adjustments.
It’s almost as if they swapped one boogeyman for another. Yet, look at the history of the doomsday clock:

Comparing “climate change” to the intensity of all the other threats, it seems completely out of place and of far less magnitude and urgency. Despite 73 years of predicting doomsday proximity, it has never materialized.
So again, with such a track record, ask yourself: Do you feel more threatened by nuclear Armageddon, or the possibility that it might be a little bit warmer next year?

The Doomsday Clock Would Like You To Be Concerned

Do you hear a faint, foreboding ticking off in the distance? Or is it just me?
Since 1947, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists has been setting and publishing the time on its metaphorical Doomsday Clock. The closer the clock is to midnight, the greater the perceived existential dangers are to the planet: nuclear disaster, climate change, a global pandemic, malevolent artificial intelligences and/or killer nanorobots. Of course, balancing the risks of nuclear winter versus dramatically rising oceans is an unavoidably arbitrary task. Indeed, the clock’s original designer explained that it debuted at 11:53 p.m. because “it looked good to my eye.”
But, undeterred, the Bulletin’s Science and Security Board, along with its Board of Sponsors and 15 Nobel laureates, moved the clock’s hand a scooch on Thursday — 30 seconds closer to midnight. It is now officially 11:58 p.m. according to the metaphorical timekeeper.
It’s the closest the clock has ever been to doomsday, though it’s been here before, in the 1950s, when the United States and the Soviet Union were both testing thermonuclear devices and destroying islands in the process.
The group explained its latest move mainly by citing President Trump’s handling of nuclear risks in North Korea and Iran. It also throws in worries about climate change for good measure. “Major nuclear actors are on the cusp of a new arms race, one that will be very expensive and will increase the likelihood of accidents and misperceptions,” the Bulletin’s CEO wrote in a statement.
