WHAT INSANITY! I just want to say that after what the people of the United States have been subjected to in the last few years and especially this past year, it would be hard to blame any one thing or one person for the violent temper flares and spontaneous destructive behavior that can break out at any minute. People’s nerves have been worked to the max. Tension is tremendous, politically, financially, emotionally, spiritually on every level. People don’t have anything or anyone they can trust and believe. They are angry and frightened.
What happened in the Capitol recently was nothing compared to what we have seen across the nation. Certainly it is harder to make a case that President Trump caused that problem than it is to show evidence that the ELECTION was Fraudulent.
The Democrats continue to act as they have for the past four years; irrationally and poisonously destructive. They have no case against the President, that is why they don’t want to follow the normal procedures. The Impeachment process has not only not been followed properly or in order. It is a rush to control, what they cannot control. The only reason they could possibly have for this circus is that they have so much to hide they can’t afford to take the chance the President Trump will take steps to expose them.
I am sorry, but this country is OUT OF CONTROL! The insanity gets more and more bizarre every day. This is not the country I grew up in. IF GOD DOES NOT INTERVENE… WE WILL NEVER HAVE NORMAL AGAIN!
Surely we have not already forgotten all the insane behavior by Hillary Supporters, or Obama’s minions. Or all that those same people have done to tear the fabric of our nation apart, destroy property, threaten and even take lives, defy our laws and those who work to keep the peace. ALL I CAN DO IS SHAKE MY HEAD, AND MOURN FOR THE LAND THAT WAS THE ENVY OF THE WORLD. When the USA goes down… FREEDOM is lost for ALL. GOD SAVE US.

Donald Trump Becomes First U.S. President in History to Be Impeached Twice
President Trump has officially become the first president in American history to be impeached two times.
The House of Representatives on Wednesday passed an article of impeachment charging Trump with “incitement of insurrection,” one week after a mob of his supporters stormed the Capitol building in a deadly riot. The resolution was passed with ten Republicans voting in favor, including Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), the third highest-ranking member of the party in the House.
The vote came following several hours of debate, which House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) opened by arguing Trump is a “clear and present danger” to the United States after he “incited this insurrection, this armed rebellion, against our common country.” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) argued impeaching Trump “in such a short time frame would be a mistake,” but he agreed that the president “bears responsibility” for the attack on the Capitol.
Trump spoke to his supporters prior to the riot last week and urged them to “walk down to the Capitol” where Congress was meeting to certify President-elect Joe Biden’s election win, telling the crowd, “you will never take back our country with weakness.” The subsequent riot at the Capitol left five people dead, but Trump has denied responsibility and claimed his remarks were “totally appropriate” despite facing a bipartisan rebuke.
Trump was previously impeached in 2019 for pressuring the president of Ukraine to investigate the Bidens. That time, no Republicans voted in favor of impeaching him. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) doesn’t plan to use his emergency powers to bring the Senate back for an immediate impeachment trial before Jan. 19, however. McConnell has said he has “not made a final decision” on whether he’ll vote to convict Trump.

While speaking to reporters ahead of the signing, Pelosi said that with the 232-197 vote in favor of impeachment, “the House demonstrated that no one is above the law, not even the president of the United States.”
She said the vote also signaled “that Donald Trump is a clear and present danger to our country and that once again we honor our oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, so help us God.” (OH MAN, THEY WILL PAY FOR THAT WHOPPER. I CAN’T BELIEVE THEY CAN SAY THAT WITH A STRAIGHT FACE. NO CONSCIENCE.)
“And now, I sadly and with a heart broken over what this means to our country, of a president who would incite insurrection, will sign the engrossment of the article of impeachment,” Pelosi said before she moved to a table in front of other House Democratic leaders to sign the article.

Wednesday’s historic vote made Trump the first president in U.S. history to be impeached twice.
In a floor speech ahead of the vote, Pelosi said Trump’s refusal to concede his election defeat – and his calls for supporters to take the fight to the Capitol – amounted to sedition.
“We know we experienced the insurrection that violated the sanctity of the people’s Capitol,” Pelosi said. “And we know that the president of the United States incited this insurrection, this armed rebellion, against our common country.“
“He must go,” she added. “He is a clear and present danger to the nation that we all love.”
Last week’s attack on the Capitol left five people dead, including Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, who was struck by a fire extinguisher. A California woman was fatally shot by an officer as she tried to storm the Speaker’s lobby just off the House floor.
Ten Republicans joined Democrats in voting for impeachment, the most prominent being House Republican Conference Chairwoman Liz Cheney (Wyo.), the No. 3 Republican in the chamber and the highest-ranking GOP woman in Congress.
“There has never been a greater betrayal by a President of the United States of his office and his oath to the Constitution,” Cheney said in a statement. (oh my god, NO ONE recognizes the truth? The vote will now be followed by a trial in the Senate, though Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Wednesday that the proceedings aren’t likely to start until Jan. 19, a day before President-elect Joe Biden will be inaugurated.
McConnell also said he has not yet decided whether he will vote to convict or acquit Trump, adding that he will listen to the legal arguments presented during the trial.
