ZURICH (Reuters) – The 2021 Davos World Economic Forum (WEF) summit of business leaders and politicians has been called off for January due to the coronavirus pandemic, with organizers planning to reschedule the event to sometime early next summer.
“The advice from experts is that we cannot (host the event) safely in January,” WEF said on Wednesday in a statement.
WEF, which takes over the ski resort of Davos for about a week each year, has branded itself as the world’s top venue for the business and political elite to meet and discuss the challenges of globalization.
The group said the decision to delay this year’s edition “was not taken easily, since the need for global leaders to come together to design a common recovery path and shape the ‘Great Reset’ in the post-COVID-19 era is so urgent.” (Who appointed these folks to this task? They are not elected, they are not answerable to anyone but themselves. They have vested interest, so they are motivated in their actions by the sole objective of protecting their own interests and investments. Being GLOBALISTS they have no loyalty to any country or nationality, but only their own corpratations.)
In lieu of the meeting, it would host virtual ‘high-level’ discussions the week of January 25, WEF said, adding it would share dates and location of the rescheduled meeting once it was assured of health and safety conditions.

The annual gathering of the world’s political, economic and business elite is traditionally held each January in the Alpine village of Davos. While a virtual meeting of world leaders was held last month, the physical meeting had already been moved due to the Covid-19 crisis and rescheduled to take place in Singapore in May.But on Wednesday, organizers said it would now be postponed again until August 17-20.They stressed in a statement that they remained “confident of the measures in place to ensure a safe and effective meeting,” adding that “local transmission of Covid-19 in Singapore remains at negligible levels.”
But, they said, “the change to the meeting’s timing reflects the international challenges in containing the pandemic.”
“Current global travel restrictions have made planning difficult for an in-person meeting in the first half of the year,” the WEF said.
“Furthermore, differing quarantine and air transport regulations have increased the lead time necessary to ensure that participants globally can make arrangements to join.”
WEF stressed the importance of its 2021 meeting, pointing out that it would “be the first global leadership summit to address the challenges of recovering from the pandemic and laying the basis for a more inclusive and sustainable world.” (Bear in MIND that these are not the ELECTED GOVERNMENT LEADERS of the NATIONS, these are BUSINESSMEN, CORPORATE HEADS and POLITICIANS, all GLOBALISTS with vested interest.)
“It will bring leaders face-to-face to focus on shaping solutions to the most pressing challenges of our times.”
Klaus Schwab, the WEF founder and executive chairman, said the meeting would “provide the place for leaders from business, government and civil society to come together to address the steps for global recovery.”

August 19—Vinalia Rustica—dies fasti
The Vinalia (“wine festival”), originally honoring Jupiter, but later associated with Venus, in her capacity as a deity of the well tended garden, rather than the Goddess of love and beauty she became after being associated with the Greek Goddess, Aphrodite. Varro notes that on this date a “temple was dedicated to Venus and gardens were set apart for her, and then the kitchen-gardeners went on holiday” (Varro VI 20). Vinalia Rustica is the second wine festival of the year, the first being the Vinalia Priora on April 23, when the first wine from the previous year’s vintage could be brought into the city.
The Vinalia Rustica was celebrated in the country to celebrate the start of the grape harvest, although but mid-August is really too early for that— harvesting usually takes place at the end of September. Perhaps it was more to gain protection for the growing vine, instead. An offering of a ewe-lamb was made to Jupiter, and before the entrails were laid on the sacrificial fire, the Flamen Dialis officially announced the vintage (auspicatur vindemoniam) and picked the first bunch of the year. (So this is about the production and harvesting of the SUPPLY. Which is what they are trying to take control over and sabotage… our food supply.)
August 21— CONSUALIA —nefastus publicus
Consus is the God of the store bin and the harvested grain that is stored in underground storage bins. Consus had an underground altar lying beneath the track of the Circus Maximus at the first turn at the southeastern end of the spina—a spot traditionally considered to be one of the four corners of Rome’s original pomerium. On July 7, a sacrifice is made by the sacerdotibus publicis to bless the storage of grain after the June harvests. The pit was kept covered and opened only when such offerings were made. (See also, the Consualia, August 19 and December 15 at the time of autumn sowing.) The August Consualia celebrates the end of the harvest. In the lower-lying areas of Italy, the grain would be cut by about July 31 and slightly later in areas of higher elevation. It also included attention to the goddesses Seia, Segeta (also known as Segestia), Messia (the Goddess of seedtime and crops), and Tutulina (the Goddess who watched of the preservation of the crops).Consus means “storer,” or more precisely refers to the deity in charge of the ensilage of crops or the harvest store. (So this holiday is the day following their meeting. Thus it would be the culmination of their ritual. And this holiday is once again related to the food supply. Most specifically the stored food supply..
The Flamen Quirinalis was in charge of the ritual sacrifice, along with the Vestal Virgins. They would remove the soil from the underground altar in the Circus Maximus, and begin with a sacrifice of the first fruits. The festivities continue with horse and chariot races in the Circus Maximus, and horses and asses in the city would be garlanded and given a vacation day in Consus’s honor. FIRST FRUITS…
Dionysus of Halicarnassus associated those horse races with the story of the Rape of the Sabine Women. Romulus took the opportunity to exploit the Sabine men’s love of horse racing by inviting to the Consualia. While they were engrossed in the races, the Romans stole the Sabine women. The Etruscans also had a penchant for horse racing, and there may indeed be a connection between horses, which were funerary animals, with the underground altar of Consus in the Circus Maximus. Later, Consus became equated with the Greek God, Poseidon, because of his association with horses. (This is significant because Poseidon/Neptune is a major God in their pantheon, and MER-LION, and MERFOLK is all about BAAL Worship and Evolution or Creation without GOD.)

Greek Holidays in August
August 15th: The day of the Panagia (Virgin Mary)
This is the second biggest religious holiday after Easter and on the island of Tinos this day is celebrated like on no other. Pilgrims by the thousands come here to crawl on their knees up the steps to the church that holds the holy Icon. But this day is also celebrated in almost every town and village in Greece especially those with a church dedicated to the Panagia (Virgin Mary). That means on the days leading up to it every boat is full and in the islands every hotel is full so keep this in mind if you are traveling these dates. But in general booking a hotel on any island in August is difficult if you don’t do it in advance.
- Agiassos in Lesvos, the second most Holy place in Greece, the pilgrims begin arriving weeks before the 15th and by the 10th of the month the town is alive with ceremony, both religious and social, live music etc. It’s quite a party.
- Petra in Lesvos, similar to Agiassos but not as big.
- Stipsi in Lesvos celebrates for 9 consecutive days after the 15th.
- In Paros the Panagiri coincides with the local wine festival, always a good combination.
- Anwhere you go there will be a celebration at one church or another with dancing, food and services. Usually they go on until dawn. The best ones are held in the Monasteries like Profit Elias.

Hermes
The Hermaea (Ancient Greek: Ἔρμαια) were ancient Greek festivals held annually in honour of Hermes, notably at Pheneos at the foot of Mt Cyllene in Arcadia. Usually the Hermaea honoured Hermes as patron of sport and gymnastics, often in conjunction with Heracles. They included athletic contests of various kinds and were normally held in gymnasia and palaestrae. The Athenian Hermaea were an occasion for relatively unrestrained and rowdy competitions for the ephebes, and Solon tried to prohibit adults from attending. In the Cretan city of Cydonia, the festival had a more Saturnalian character, as the social order was inverted and masters waited on their slaves.[12][13]
Heracles
The Heracleia were ancient festivals honouring the divine hero Heracles. The ancient Athenians celebrated the festival, which commemorated the death of Heracles, on the second day of the month of Metageitnion (which would fall in late July or early August), at the Κυνοσαργες (Kynosarges) gymnasium at the demos Diomeia outside the walls of Athens, in a sanctuary dedicated to Heracles. His priests were drawn from the list of boys who were not full Athenian citizens (nothoi).
Eleusinia, ancient Greek festival in honour of Demeter (the goddess of agriculture), unconnected with the Eleusinian Mysteries despite the similarity of names. The Eleusinia, which included games and contests, was held every two years, probably in the month of Metageitnion (August–September). Every second festival had a particularly elaborate observance and was known as the Great Eleusinia. Its purpose was thanksgiving and sacrifice to Demeter for the gift of grain. Cyber Polygon 2021: Cult Runs Simulation Of a Coming ‘Cyber Pandemic’ To Prepare For Economic Reset
The globalists are setting the stage for the Great Reset with an upcoming high-profile simulation targeting cyber attacks against major financial institutions.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) will team up with the Russian government and global banks this July to simulate a major supply-chain “cyberpandemic” that could potentially “bring down the entire system.”
The simulation, called Cyber Polygon 2021, was announced by Russia’s largest state-run bank Sberbank in February.
“The key message voiced by experts at WEF and other international platforms is that supply chain security is to become a major cybersecurity issue in 2021,” Sberbank stated. “The ever-expanding digitalization tightens the interconnectivity between people, devices, companies and countries. Thus, the resilience of an entire system depends on the ability of each link within a chain to withstand threats of various grades.”
The website ominously warns that “a single vulnerable link is enough to bring down the entire system, just like the domino effect”, adding that “Cyber Polygon 2021 will enable the spectators and participants to improve on their cyber literacy, enhance the resilience of their organizations and learn to repel cyberthreats on all levels.”

–Chinese President Xi Jinping warned global leaders at an all-virtual Davos forum Monday against starting a “new Cold War”, and urged global unity in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. (Much like one Religious Unity, that is an impossibility. Free people cannot be in unity with totalitarians any more than Bible believers can be in unity with Pagans. The best we can do is coexist.)
Having largely curbed the spread of the pandemic within its borders, Xi wants to position China as a key player in a new multilateral world order as the US remains crippled by the pandemic.
“To build small cliques or start a new Cold War, to reject, threaten or intimidate others… will only push the world into division,” said Xi in a likely veiled attack on US President Joe Biden’s plans to revitalise global alliances to counter China’s growing influence.
In a swipe at moves targeting China launched by the previous US administration under President Donald Trump, Xi said confrontation “will always end up harming every nation’s interests and sacrificing people’s welfare”.
The Chinese leader also reaffirmed Beijing’s ambitious climate pledges to slash carbon emissions by 65 per cent by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2060 — both significant commitments as China emits a quarter of the world’s greenhouse gases.
“Meeting these targets will require tremendous hard work from China. But we believe that when the interests of the entire humanity are at stake, China must step forward, take action and get the job done,” he said.
Xi also called for stronger global governance via multilateral organizations, the removal of barriers to international trade, investment and tech exchanges, as well as stronger representation on the world stage for developing countries.
He stressed the importance of strengthening macroeconomic policies to combat the pandemic-induced global economic downturn.
“We must build an open world economy, firmly safeguard the multilateral trade system, and refrain from making discriminatory and exclusive standards, rules and systems, as well as high walls that separate trade, investment, and technology,” he said. (That is all pretty funny coming from China the land of the Great Wall.)
China saw its GDP increase 2.3 percent last year, according to official data — the lowest growth rate since 1976 — but it is nonetheless expected to be the only major economy to have expanded in the pandemic-ravaged year.
Its economy is also forecast to grow by 7.9 per cent in 2021, according to the International Monetary Fund — trimmed down from initial predictions by a harsh geopolitical climate, global economic downturn and risks from a messy technological decoupling from the US.
It also overtook the US as the world’s biggest recipient of foreign direct investment (FDI) in 2020, according to a UN report released Sunday.
Bolstered by confidence in his country’s management of the pandemic, Xi has made ambitious climate pledges and vowed to uphold multilateralism as US-China relations entered their worst phase in decades under the Trump administration.
But the Chinese government has been accused of mishandling the initial Covid-19 outbreak and covering up information, while a World Health Organisation expert team is currently conducting a long-delayed probe into the origins of the virus.
How Biden decides to handle the mounting tensions posed by China’s rise will be one of the biggest strategic challenges he faces.
Under Trump, China and the US traded blows on a wide range of issues ranging from the virus to trade, media freedoms, human rights and technology competition.
Biden, busy handling several urgent domestic crises, did not participate at Davos and tasked US climate envoy John Kerry with representing Washington.
Xi last addressed Davos in 2017, presenting himself as the champion of free trade on the eve of Trump’s inauguration. (Now that is really rich considering China’s dictatorial choke hold on all it’s businesses and business partners, as well as its individual citizens.)
The World Economic Forum announced that its postponed 2021 Davos summit, themed as “The Great Reset” in the coronavirus crisis, will take place in Lucerne, Switzerland from May 18 to 21.
The purpose of the “Great Reset” is to use the coronavirus pandemic as a justification—attendees repeatedly referred to it as an “opportunity”—to completely overhaul the entire global economy, including the U.S. economy, to make a more “equitable” world and to fight climate change, which was on numerous occasions identified as the world’s next great “crisis.”
