WHY THE PUSH TO PRACTICE TAI CHI?

If you watch television at all, you have been seeing these Tai Chi walking ads ad nauseum.   The only ad I have seen more is the Obama ad showing his endorsement of Haley Stevens.  O my goodness, in one Youtube video I was watching that ad came up every other minute.  I don’t even know how many times it popped up, felt like 50.  He is a whole other story for another day.  Today we are looking into why the sudden and seemingly urgent push for people to start practicing Tai Chi.  I hope that you are not among those foolish enough to fall for the hype.

This post is meant to be complete full coverage of this topic.  I pray that I have included enough information to prevent souls from being lost.  This is a very complicated post. These practices have been around for thousands of years.  The deceivers have had a long time to perfect their presentation and master their wordsmithing in order to make these practices sound appealing and beneficial.  I hope that I have been able to sift through all the lies and uncover the spiritual truths they had concealed. I apologize for those spots where it may seem that I am going over the same ground unnecessarily. It may sound repetitive, however there are new revelations exposed as we move through the articles. There is so much propaganda to dig through and so many inter-related topics.  So much spiritual information and so much data makes it difficult to cover in a post.  I want you to know that I tried my best to keep it as brief as possible without losing vital information.  Please, don’t let the volume of material bog you down or discourage you.  Consider this as a deep dive study.  Take it in small doses.  Skim through when you need to.  Come back to it often and see what you might have missed.  This information is vital.  This push for Tai Chi and Qigong has been in process for sometime.  It is part of the globalists’ agenda,  They want this mandatory in every school in the world.  This will carry over into many other areas especially HEALTHCARE.  You will be expected to participate in this stuff if you want to maintain your health coverage.  Maybe even if you just want to see a doctor without insurance.  They are going to coerce you in every way possible to give them access to your soul.

This is spiritual warfare.  If you think you can avoid it or escape it.  THINK AGAIN.  This Tai Chi project is just one small weapon in their arsenal/toolchest.

The Spiritual and Esoteric Dimensions of Tai Chi

Tai Chi, while often seen as a gentle exercise, has deep spiritual and esoteric roots that extend far beyond physical movement. Its origins trace back to 12th‑century China, linked to Taoist monk Zhang Sanfeng, who drew inspiration from nature and animal movements to cultivate harmony between body, mind, and spirit soulshizzle.com+1.

Spiritual Foundations

  • Taoist Philosophy: Tai Chi embodies the Taoist principle of yin and yang (duality a pagan invention)opposing yet complementary forces such as soft/hard, still/moving, emptiness/fullness soulshizzle.com+1. This balance is mirrored in its flowing, circular movements.
  • Qi (Life Energy): The practice aims to cultivate, direct, and balance qi (aka Chi), the universal life force, fostering vitality and interconnectedness with the cosmos Tai Chi Foundation Inc.+1.
  • Mindfulness in Motion: Each slow, deliberate movement is a form of moving meditation, enhancing presence and awareness, which can lead to transcendent or mystical experiences Tai Chi Foundation Inc.+1.
  • Harmony with Nature: Postures mimic natural elements, creating a sense of unity with the environment and a conduit to deeper awareness Tai Chi Foundation Inc..    As in everything pagan…it is the worship of the creation not the creator.  Earth worship in the case of Tai Chi

Pagan Concept of Duality

In pagan traditions, duality refers to the belief that reality, the cosmos, and human experience are fundamentally shaped by two interrelated or opposing principles. This concept is not limited to one religion but appears across many ancient belief systems, often expressed through myth, cosmology, and ritual.

Core Meaning

Dualism in pagan thought typically divides the world into two complementary or opposing forces—such as light and dark, life and death, order and chaos, or good and evil Wikipedia+1. These forces are not always enemies; in many traditions they are interdependent, with one often giving rise to or balancing the other. This is seen in the yin–yang model of Chinese philosophy, where complementary opposites coexist and transform into each other Wikipedia.

Themes in Pagan Dualism

  • Sacred–Profane: The distinction between the holy and the profane, often tied to ritual and cosmology Britannica.
  • Good–Evil: A self-existent principle of evil opposed to a principle of good, as in some Gnostic or Manichaean influences Britannica.
  • Nature–Culture: The innate state of nature versus human-made institutions Wikipedia.
  • Complementarity: In some traditions, opposites are necessary for balance and completeness, as in yin–yang or the pairing of male and female divine figures.

Significance

Pagan duality reflects a worldview in which balance, transformation, and interdependence are central. It acknowledges that opposites are not just contrasts but essential parts of a unified whole. This concept continues to influence modern pagan spirituality, where dualistic pairs (e.g., masculine/feminine, active/passive) are often honored in ritual and symbolism.

In short, the pagan concept of duality is a cosmic and moral framework that sees the world as structured by two interwoven forces—opposing yet complementary—shaping both the natural order and human experience Wikipedia+4.

This framework has taken various forms throughout history and appears in many religious traditions, including ancient Persian Zoroastrianism, Greek Platonism, and Gnosticism. Within Christianity, dualism poses serious theological dangers, especially when it denies the essential goodness of the material creation, distorts the doctrine of the incarnation, and undermines biblical anthropology and eschatology.

Biblically faithful Christianity affirms a monotheistic, non-dualistic view of reality: there is one God, who created all things, both visible and invisible, and who declared His entire creation “very good” (Genesis 1:31). Evil is not a co-eternal principle with God; it is a privation—a corruption of the good that God madeand it entered creation through moral rebellion, not as an independent or equal force. Furthermore, biblical Christianity teaches that humans are holistic beings, composed of both body and spirit, and that redemption includes the restoration of both. A biblical worldview cannot embrace dualism without compromising foundational doctrines regarding God, creation, sin, salvation, and the resurrectionDualism: A Thorough Biblical and Theological Analysis of a Pervasive Philosophical Error – Updated American Standard Version

Paganism, in its many historical and modern forms, often operates on a cyclical worldviewa belief that time, nature, and the cosmos move in repeating patterns of creation, destruction, and rebirth. This is seen in ancient polytheistic religions such as Egyptian, Greek, Roman, and Celtic traditions, where festivals, myths, and rituals often mark seasonal cycles, cosmic renewals, or the return of deities Updated American Standard Version+1. Nature worship, fertility rites, and the veneration of spirits tied to the land or celestial bodies reflect this idea that the divine is embedded in the natural world and that events repeat in predictable rhythms Updated American Standard Version.

In contrast, God’s world, as revealed in Scripture, is described as operating on a linear plana single, unfolding history with a definite beginning, purpose, and end. This is rooted in the biblical narrative of creation, fall, redemption, and final restoration. Time is not cyclical but progressive, moving toward a unique consummation in Christ’s return and the new heavens and new earth themetaphysicalcompass.com. The linear model emphasizes that each stage of history is distinct and irreversible, with God’s sovereign purpose unfolding in sequence.

Key differences:

  • Time and history: Paganism sees time as never ending repeating cycles; God’s plan sees time as a one-time, progressive journey.
  • Creator vs. creation: Paganism often blends Creator and creation, worshipping the natural world as divine; biblical faith maintains a clear distinction between the Creator and His creation Updated American Standard Version.
  • Purpose and destiny: Pagan cycles may have multiple “ends” and “restarts”; God’s plan has one ultimate destinyglorifying His name and restoring all things.

Hebrews 9:27 states, “Just as man is appointed to die once, and after that comes judgment.”  While death is certain, Christ’s resurrection offers assurance of eternal life for those who trust in Him (John 10:28)   through faith in Jesus, they are delivered from the fear of death and judgment, as salvation is granted by grace (Ephesians 2:8–9; 1 Corinthians 15:20–21)

  • Cosmic order: Pagan cosmologies often involve multiple gods and shifting cosmic balances; the biblical view centers on one God in sovereign control over history themetaphysicalcompass.com.

Why the contrast matters:
This difference shapes how each worldview understands human purpose, morality, and the role of history. Pagan cyclical thinking can lead to fatalism or repetition of patterns, while God’s linear plan points to hope, transformation, and a final victory over sin and death. For believers, this distinction underscores the uniqueness of God’s redemptive work and the irreversibility of His purposes.

Esoteric and Philosophical Dimensions

  • Kinesthetic Wisdom: Over time, Tai Chi can “introduce” practitioners to esoteric ideas through bodily experience. The precise, controlled movements can make abstract Taoist and Eastern philosophical concepts tangible and internalized Taiji Forum.
  • Pathway to Esoteric Study: For those not inclined toward reading or intellectual study, Tai Chi can be a “gateway” to deeper spiritual inquiry, revealing principles gradually through practice Taiji Forum.
  • Mental and Character Discipline: The art disciplines the body for mental control, fostering a “pure presence” and self‑awareness that can influence character and worldview Taiji Forum.
  • Historical Context: Evolved from martial arts training focused on human skill and body mechanics, Tai Chi became an elegant study of body expression, guarded by families and brotherhoods for centuries Taiji Forum.
  • Spiritual Dangers of Martial Arts

Martial arts, while often praised for discipline, self-defense, and physical fitness, can carry spiritual risks for some practitioners, especially when their training is tied to non-Christian or occult influences.

    1. Occult and Eastern Mystical Roots
Many martial arts systems—such as karate, judo, kung fu, aikido, and ninjitsudeveloped in cultural and religious contexts that include Buddhism, Taoism, Zen, Confucianism, and Shinto Salt of the Earth+1. Some traditions incorporate meditation, breathwork, and energy practices (like qi or chi) that, in certain interpretations, are linked to spiritual or even occult practices Salt of the Earth+1. Critics argue that these methods can open practitioners to influences beyond Christian teaching (dark influences/demonic forces).

    2. Alleged “Spiritual Channeling” and Demon Influence
Some fringe teachings claim that advanced martial artists gain combat knowledge through meditation and channeling of spiritual forces, including “demons,” to develop strength and insight Salt of the Earth+1

    3. Philosophical and Ethical Conflicts
Martial arts often emphasize self-control, humility, and respect, which can align with biblical virtues Bible Hub. However, if training is driven by revenge, pride, or aggression, it can contradict the peacemaking and love-centered teachings of Scripture (Matthew 5:9; John 13:34) Bible Hub. Additionally, Eastern philosophies may promote detachment or self-overcoming in ways that conflict with Christian identity in Christ.

    4. Spiritual Corruption and Worldly Thinking
GotQuestions.org notes that the human heart is “desperately wicked” (Jeremiah 17:9) and that no human system can “polish” the spirit without God’s grace GotQuestions.org. Schools that openly incorporate non-Christian spiritual ideas risk shaping a practitioner’s worldview in ways that are not aligned with biblical truth.

    5. Hidden Spiritual Risks in Training
Books like Exposing the Dangers of Martial Arts warn that even seemingly harmless physical training can be spiritually dangerous if it involves rituals, secret practices, or occult symbolism Google Books. These can lead to spiritual confusion, moral compromise, or attraction to false teachings.

Mystical and Transcendent Potential

Some practitioners report moments of oneness with the universe or a sense of unity with a higher reality, facilitated by the stillness within movement, mindful breath, and energetic flow Tai Chi Foundation Inc.. This can be seen as a form of spiritual awakening or esoteric realization.

In essence, Tai Chi’s spiritual and esoteric aspects lie in its integration of Taoist philosophy, mindful movement, energy cultivation, and its ability to make abstract wisdom experiential. It is both a physical discipline and a metaphysical practice, capable of deepening one’s connection to self, nature, and the cosmos.

Spirits and Spiritual Aspects in Tai Chi

In Tai Chi, the term “spirit” (Shen) is central to both its martial and meditative traditions. It is not a single fixed entity but a quality that can be cultivated through practice, encompassing mind, energy (Qi), and connection to something greaterYes, and just what kind of something?  There are only two kinds of spiritual entities/forces  good/God or evil/Satan.  You certainly cannot reach the Heavenly Father/Creator of Heaven and Earth through pagan practices.

1. The Jing–Qi–Shen Framework
Many teachers, such as Yang Cheng-Fu, describe the Jing–Qi–Shen model:

  • Jing (essence/essence energy) produces Qi (vital energy), which in turn nourishes Shen (spirit).
  • In this context, Shen can be understood as the “spirit” or even as a subtle form of spirit-being, linking the practitioner to a deeper energetic or spiritual realm Taiji Forum.

2. Shen as Mind and Presence
Shen in Tai Chi often refers to mental focus, awareness, and inner clarity. High-quality practice is judged partly by the presence of Shen (spirit) — a calm, centered, and complete quality in posture, breath, and movement Taiji Forum. It is the “feeling” of the form, the spontaneity where thought and action are one Taiji Forum.

3. Qi and Energetic Spirits
Tai Chi is rooted in the cultivation of Qi (Chi), the universal life force. By flowing and directing Qi through the body, practitioners aim to harmonize their internal energy, which can create a sense of connection to the cosmos or to other beings soulshizzle.com+1. Some traditions see this as aligning with or channeling subtle spirits or energies.

4. Mystical and Transcendent Experiences
For some practitioners, Tai Chi can be a gateway to mystical states — moments of unity with the universe, oneness with nature, or heightened awareness Tai Chi Foundation Inc.. These experiences often arise from:

5. Cultural and Philosophical Roots
Tai Chi’s spiritual dimension is deeply tied to Taoist philosophy, yin–yang balance, and the idea of cultivating inner peace soulshizzle.com. The practice is seen as a journey inward, fostering resilience, calm, and a sense of belonging to a larger whole.s

Tai Chi carries spiritual risks for Christians because its Taoist philosophy, focus on Chi, and meditative practices can conflict with biblical teachings and may expose practitioners to metaphysical influences considered harmful.

Taoist Philosophy and ChiTai Chi originates from Taoism, a Chinese spiritual tradition that emphasizes the flow of Chi, an impersonal life force believed to circulate through the body along energy channels catholicweekly.com.au+2. Practitioners aim to cultivate and direct Chi through slow movements, breathing, and visualization. While this is often presented as a health practice, Taoist philosophy regards Chi as a divine energy, and the ultimate goal of Tai Chi is spiritual enlightenment, self-deification, and mastery over this energy catholicweekly.com.au. From a Christian perspective, this worldview is incompatible with belief in a personal God, as it promotes pantheism and the idea that humans can attain divinity through their own efforts womenofgrace.com+1.

spacer

Altered States and Metaphysical Risks

Tai Chi’s meditative techniques can induce altered states of consciousness, which Taoism interprets as receptivity to cosmic Chi catholicweekly.com.au. Reports exist of practitioners experiencing unusual physical sensations or external forces, sometimes described as aggression or manipulation of energy at a distance catholicweekly.com.au. Some Christian sources warn that such experiences may open individuals to spiritual deception or demonic influence, particularly if the practitioner is unaware of the religious or mystical context of the practice jesustruthdeliverance.com.

Philosophical Conflicts with Christianity

The spiritual framework of Tai Chi emphasizes self-cultivation, energy manipulation, and harmony with the universe, rather than reliance on God or Christ. This can be seen as paying homage to a belief system contrary to biblical teachings, since it encourages trust in an impersonal force rather than the Creator GotQuestions.org. Even if practiced solely for exercise, the underlying philosophy may subtly influence the mind and spirit, potentially leading to spiritual confusion or compromise womenofgrace.com+1.

Reported Spiritual Consequences

Some Christian testimonies describe demonic attacks or spiritual oppression linked to Tai Chi practice, particularly when the exercises involve awakening or directing Chi energy, which is likened to the Kundalini energy in yoga and considered spiritually dangerous jesustruthdeliverance.com. These accounts suggest that engaging in Tai Chi without discernment or Christian grounding may expose individuals to spiritual harm.

May 1  – Beltane Beltane is a fire festival, and the Beltane fires are one of its most iconic and sacred rituals. Historically, these fires were lit to honor the sun god Belanus and to promote fertility, abundance, and purification. People would gather around bonfires, jump over flames, and take part in rituals that symbolized the balance between the divine masculine (the fire) and the divine feminine (the earth’s fertility).

Beltane, also known as May Day, is one of the eight sabbats celebrated by Pagans, Wiccans and Witchcraft practitioners. It marks the beginning of summer and is celebrated on May 1st in the Northern Hemisphere. This festival is all about fertility, growth, and renewal. In 2026, this sacred sabbat is made even more powerful as it aligns with the Full Flower Moon, adding an extra layer of lunar energy to Beltane celebrations.  If you’re celebrating Beltane in 2026, you have a unique opportunity to work with both fire and full moon energy in a single ritual.  At Beltane, we honor the union of the god and goddess, which brings new life to the earth. It’s a time to dance around the Maypole, a tall pole decorated with flowers and ribbons. The Maypole represents the phallus, and the ribbons represent the feminine energy of the earth. World Tai Chi and Qigong Day

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

World Tai Chi & Qigong Day’s first event in Kansas City, Missouri, US

World Tai Chi and Qigong Day (WTCQD), also spelled World T’ai Chi and Ch’i Kung Day, is an annual event held the last Saturday of April each year to promote the related disciplines of tai chi and Qigong in nearly eighty countries since 1999.[1]

Organization

World Tai Chi & Qigong Day event in Rio de JaneiroBrazil

The local events are independently organized by local tai chi and qigong schools, groups, and associations. The format of events varies by locality, although most involve free classes and mass exhibitions. International organizing for the event is done at the World Tai Chi and Qigong Day office in Overland ParkKansas.

History

The global event began in 1999 (inversion of 666). However the first event, that inspired the global event, was held in Kansas CityMissouri, in 1998 on the lawn of the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art in midtown Kansas City, where the Kansas City Tai Chi Club held a mass tai chi exhibition and teach-in involving nearly two-hundred people.[2] CNN Headline News covered the event, which generated interest beyond Kansas City to quickly grow into a national and international event in the following years.[3]World Tai Chi and Qigong Day has been officially proclaimed by governors of 25 US states, the senates of California, New York, and Puerto Rico, by Brazil’s National Council of Deputies, and officials in several nations.

In 2013 Harvard Medical School launched a series of lectures regarding medical research on tai chi benefits. The Harvard lecture series homepage was titled “Celebrating World Tai Chi Day.” The Harvard Medical School Guide to Tai Chi, released in 2012, cited World Tai Chi Day, writing, “A reflection of how successful the invasion of [tai chi] has been is World Tai Chi Day, organized by Bill Douglas. One of the purposes of this day is “to bring people across racial, economic, religious, and geo-political boundaries, to join together for the purpose of health and healing, providing an example to the world.” Millions of people around the world—65 nations participated in 2011—gather one day each year to celebrate the health and healing benefits of tai chi and qigong.” This global event was founded by Bill Douglas and Angela Wong Douglas, co-authors of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to T’ai Chi and Qigong (Penguin Alpha Books, fourth edition, 2012). Their book’s chapter entitled, “World T’ai Chi and Qigong Day,” was a major force behind the global awareness of this health and healing event.

In 2013 the National Council of Deputies in Brazil joined 22 U.S. Governors, the Senates of California, New York, and Puerto Rico and other officials and bodies from around the world in recognizing World Tai Chi & Qigong Day.[4] Local and national media worldwide have covered World Tai Chi & Qigong Day events, including Agence France Presse TV;[5] Egyptian national television news;[6] and New York City’s Central Park event was covered by NDT Television News.[7]

In 2019 Southampton City Council celebrated World Tai Chi & Qigong Day alongside UK Shaolin Temple, who jointly held a free public event in Southampton’s Guildhall Square on Saturday 27 April 2019. The event highlighted the importance of mental health and wellbeing awareness with free tai chi and qigong taster sessions. Near to one hundred attendees sampled a number of simple exercise routines to incorporate into their daily routines. The message of the event also reached hundreds of thousands of people through social media and regional press coverage including the Southern Daily Echo Press and BBC Solent.

This global healing event, in turn, inspired what is now known as World Healing Day.

World Tai Chi and Qigong Day is celebrated annually on the last Saturday of April in over 80 countries to promote health, wellness, and global unity through Tai Chi and Qigong.

Overview and Purpose

World Tai Chi and Qigong Day (WTCQD) is a global event designed to promote the health benefits of Tai Chi and Qigong, encourage public participation in these mind-body practices, and foster international cooperation for wellness and healing Wikipedia+1. The event emphasizes inclusivity, offering free classes and mass exhibitions in hundreds of cities worldwide, making it accessible to people of all ages and skill levels Wikipedia+1. Its motto, “One World, One Breath,” reflects the focus on breathing, balance, and harmony Bill Petro.

The One Breath that they are calling you to does not come from the Heavenly Father/Creator of Heaven and Earth.  They are calling the entire Earth back to paganism, slavery to dark demonic forces.  Servitude to the fallen and their progeny. They want to fill your being with demonic spirits.  The want to chase the breath/spirit of God out of this world.

In the Bible, breath symbolizes life itself, given by God, and represents both physical vitality and the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Breath as the Source of Life

The Bible repeatedly emphasizes that breath is a divine gift from God. In Genesis 2:7, God formed man from the dust and “breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being” (Genesis 2:7) OpenBible.info+2. Similarly, Job 33:4 states, “The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life,” highlighting that human existence depends entirely on God’s sustaining power OpenBible.info+1. This breath is not merely physical; it signifies the intimate connection between God and humanity.

Breath and Worship

Breath is also associated with praise and spiritual expression. Psalm 150:6 declares, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord,” indicating that every living being is called to honor God through the life He provides OpenBible.info+2. This underscores the idea that life itself is a form of worship, and each breath is an opportunity to acknowledge God’s greatness.

Breath and the Holy Spirit

The Bible links breath to the Holy Spirit. In John 20:22, Jesus “breathed on them and said, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit,'” showing that God’s breath conveys spiritual empowerment and guidance OpenBible.info+1. Similarly, Ezekiel 37:5 describes God commanding the breath to enter dry bones, symbolizing restoration and life-giving power:Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live” OpenBible.info+1. These passages illustrate that breath represents both physical life and spiritual renewal.

Breath as a Reminder of Human Fragility

The Bible also reminds us of the transience of life. Job 27:3 notes, “All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils,” emphasizing that life is temporary and dependent on God encouragingbibleverses.org. Ecclesiastes 3:19–20 teaches that humans and animals share the same breath, highlighting the fleeting nature of life and the need to trust in God’s plan knowing-jesus.com.

Summary

In biblical teaching, breath is sacred and multifaceted: it is the divine gift that gives life, a symbol of the Holy Spirit, a call to worship, and a reminder of human dependence on God. Key chapters to explore include Genesis 2Job 33Psalm 150, and Ezekiel 37, which collectively reveal the spiritual, life-giving, and worshipful significance of breath in Scripture  encouragingbibleverses.org+1

Occult Symbolism and Significance of Breath

In occult and esoteric traditionsbreath is far more than a biological function — it is a sacred conduit, a symbol of life force, and a tool for spiritual and magickal work.

Symbolic Meaning in the Occult

Across many mystical systems, breath is seen as the animating principle of life. In Greek, it is pneuma; in Sanskrit, prana; in Irish, anáil www.ofalchemy.com. These terms all point to breath as the essence of vitality and spirit. In ancient Egypt, breath was the divine spark that brought creation into being, and in the afterlife, the “opening of the mouth” ceremony restored the soul’s ability to speak, eat, and experience www.ofalchemy.com.

In Vedanta, breath can symbolize Brahman, the ultimate reality, and is linked to the Vaishvanara Self, the cosmic mind Wisdom Library. In Buddhism, breath is both a physical process and a metaphor — in Tibetan tantric practice, it can represent the yogi’s vital energy, while in Mahayana, it is sometimes used symbolically to represent destructive power Wisdom Library.

Occult and Magickal Use

In ritual magick, breath is the medium of action:

  • Charging objects — inhaling intention into tools or sigils.
  • Cleansing space — forceful exhalations to purify energy.
  • Anchoring the self — using breath to stabilize during trance or altered states www.ofalchemy.com.

Breathwork is also a sigil practice: visualizing or drawing a sigil in the air, inhaling to draw in energy, and exhaling to empower it www.ofalchemy.com.

Spiritual and Mystical Significance

Breath is a bridge between the physical and spiritual realms. In meditation, mindful breathing anchors awareness in the present, fosters clarity, and deepens connection to the divine spiritualmojo.com+1. In many traditions — from Yoga and Qigong to Sufism and Native American spirituality — breath is sacred, a gift from the divine, and a means to channel higher energy spiritualityshepherd.com.

Practical Occult Applications

Occultists often incorporate breath into daily practice:

  • Morning breathwork — inhale new day’s energy, exhale doubt.
  • Spell activation — seal intentions with a conscious breath.
  • Grounding — 4–4–4 breathing to center and steady www.ofalchemy.com.

Summary

In the occult, breath is:

  • Life force (pranapneuma).
  • Divine connection — a channel to the spiritual.
  • Magickal tool — for charging, cleansing, and anchoring.
  • Symbol of creation and rebirth — from potential to active existence.

Thus, in occult symbolism, breath is not just airit is spirit in motion, a living sigil of vitality and transformation.

History

The first event that inspired WTCQD took place in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1998, organized by Bill Douglas and Angela Wong Douglas, involving nearly 200 participants in a mass Tai Chi exhibition Wikipedia+1. The global celebration officially began in 1999 and has since expanded to over 80 countries and hundreds of cities across six continents Wikipedia+1. The founders also authored The Complete Idiot’s Guide to T’ai Chi and Qigong, which helped raise awareness of the event Wikipedia.

Timing and Global Participation

WTCQD is held on the last Saturday of April each year, with events starting at 10 a.m. local time in the earliest time zones, such as Samoa and New Zealand, and continuing around the world until the final events in Hawaii worldtaichiday.org+1. In 2026, this falls on April 25 aknanda.org. Celebrations include mass Tai Chi and Qigong demonstrations, free public classes, and community wellness activities Wikipedia.

Health and Cultural Significance

The event highlights scientific research on the health benefits of Tai Chi and Qigong, including improvements in balance, mobility, immunity, and stress reduction worldtaichiday.org+1. It also promotes the integration of these practices into education, healthcare, corporate wellness, and rehabilitation programs worldtaichiday.org. WTCQD serves as a platform to thank Chinese culture for these contributions and to encourage global cultural exchange Wikipedia.

UNESCO International Taijiquan Day

In addition to WTCQD, UNESCO designated March 21 as International Taijiquan Day in 2025, with the first celebration held in 2026 aknanda.org+1. This date coincides with the spring equinox, symbolizing balance and harmony, core principles of Tai Chi. While WTCQD has the longest tradition and broadest global participation, UNESCO’s day provides formal international recognition of Taijiquan as intangible cultural heritage aknanda.org.  Ānanda (Hindu philosophy)

Participation

Anyone can participate in World Tai Chi Day, regardless of experience. Local Tai Chi schools, community groups, and wellness organizations organize events, and resources such as organizing kits, media materials, and event listings are available on the official website worldtaichiday.org. Participants can join mass practice sessions, workshops, and demonstrations to experience the physical and mental benefits of these ancient (pagan) practices.

The Two Dates: A Direct Answer

  • March 21: International Taijiquan Day — approved by UNESCO in November 2025. First official celebration: 2026.
  • Last Saturday of AprilWorld Tai Chi and Qigong Day (WTCQD) — celebrated since 1999 in over 80 countries. In 2026, this falls on April 25.

Both dates are legitimate and complementary. They have different origins, promote similar values, and together reflect the global expansion of these practices.

Tai Chi and Qigong: Are They the Same Practice?

The two disciplines are often grouped together, but they are not identical. Both share roots in Taoist philosophy and traditional Chinese medicine, and both work with the coordination of movement, breath, and awareness. However, they have distinct origins, structures, and purposes worth understanding.

Taijiquan is an internal martial art with nearly four hundred years of history, developed across several schools (Chen, Yang, Wu, Sun). It combines codified movement forms with philosophical principles of balance and efficiency. It was Taijiquan specifically — not Qigong — that received UNESCO recognition in 2020.

Qigong is a broader system of cultivating vital energy (qi) through movement, breath, and meditation. Its variations are numerous, and its emphasis is more oriented toward health and inner development than toward combat.

Both practices share the same vision of the human being as part of a larger system, where internal balance reflects harmony with the surrounding environment. That’s why the two celebrations, though different in origin, coexist without contradiction.

What’s the difference between Qigong and Tai-chi or yoga?

Qigong, Taichi, and yoga share many common features due to their focus on breath, posture, and movement. Qigong is even sometimes referred to as Chinese Yoga since it has many overlaps with yoga from India. However, yoga often focuses on holding deep, intense stretches, while qigong takes a gentle form of stretching, making it easily accessible for people of all ages, as well as those with varying physical capacities and health conditions.

Many people also ask what makes Qigong different from Tai Chi—and actually, Tai Chi is a form of Qigong! Both are meditative exercises that incorporate movement and breathing techniques and have similar benefits. However, Qigong exercise generally focuses on individual exercises whereas Tai Chi is typically taught as a complete form of choreographed movements that have roots in martial arts. Tai Chi and Qigong are often practiced together. Tai Chi classes will often begin and end with Qigong Exercises and the Tai Chi form will be practiced for the bulk of the class.[For more on the differences between qigong and Taichi, check out our blog post: Which is Better Tai Chi or Qigong.

We could say that Tai Chi is a kind of Qigong like spaghetti is a kind of Italian food. Both are forms of meditative exercise that focus on breathing. Both are excellent for stress reduction and for longevity and are beneficial for overall health, well-being, and weight loss. In fact, Taichi is one of the most popular styles of Qigong around the world. What makes Taichi unique is that it is practiced in specific forms or sets similar to martial arts like Karate, but it is practiced more slowly, with great emphasis on mindfulness. For example, rather than emphasizing linear, hard movements as in Karate, Qigong uses circular, softer movements. Qigong exercise classes also focus on developing the Universal Life Force called Qi more than in a Taichi Class. However, many Tai Chi classes incorporate 10-30 minutes of Qigong.  qigongawareness.com+1.

Why Do Millions of People Practice These Disciplines?

The global expansion of Tai Chi and Qigong is closely tied to their documented effects. Clinical research and accumulated experience point to benefits including:

  • Reduced stress and anxiety.
  • Improved balance, coordination, and flexibility.
  • Cardiovascular benefits and immune system support.
  • Greater mental clarity and emotional well-being.
  • Support in injury rehabilitation and chronic pain management.

What sets these practices apart is not intensity, but consistency. Not forced effort, but alignment. They are accessible to people of all ages and physical conditions — one of the key reasons their adoption in healthcare systems, educational programs, and corporate settings has grown steadily.

 Why These Celebrations Matter Today

In a world defined by speed and constant stimulation, Tai Chi and Qigong offer something increasingly rare: a way back to one’s own rhythm. They don’t remove action — they refine how it is lived.

The existence of two celebrations — one of popular origin and one of institutional recognition — is not a contradiction. It is evidence that these practices have penetrated global culture from different directions and for equally valid reasons: public health, cultural heritage, the pursuit of well-being, and cultural diplomacy.

Whether it’s called International Taijiquan Day, World Tai Chi and Qigong Day, or International Qigong Day: what is ultimately being celebrated is the same. A pause. A breath. A return to what matters.

Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice that combines movement, breath, and meditation to cultivate and balance vital energy, known as Qi, for health, well-being, and spiritual development.

Overview

Qigong, pronounced “chi gong,” is a system developed in China thousands of years ago as part of traditional Chinese medicine. The term comes from “Qi”, meaning vital energy or life force, and “Gong”, meaning cultivation or skill, so qigong literally translates to “energy cultivation” or “working with vital energy” qigongawareness.com+1. It is designed to harmonize the body, mind, and spirit through coordinated movements, controlled breathing, and focused attention National Institutes of Health (NIH)+1.

Practice Components

Qigong practices can be dynamic (active) or meditative (passive):

  • Dynamic qigong involves gentle, flowing movements of the body, arms, and legs, often synchronized with breath to promote relaxation and energy flow National Institutes of Health (NIH)+1.
  • Meditative qigong focuses on still postures, breath control, and mental visualization, with minimal physical movement, emphasizing internal energy cultivation National Institutes of Health (NIH)+1.
Breathing is typically slow, deep, and rhythmic, sometimes combined with vocalizations or abdominal breathing techniques. Mind regulation includes focused attention, visualization, and meditative awareness to enhance the flow of Qi National Institutes of Health (NIH)+1.

Forms and Applications

Qigong encompasses hundreds of styles, including Tai Chi, Baduanjin, Liuzijue, Hu Yue Xian, and Yijin Jing National Institutes of Health (NIH)+1. Tai Chi, originally a martial art, is considered a form of qigong when practiced for health, integrating posture, breath, and mindful movement National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Qigong is practiced for multiple purposes:

  • Health and wellness: improving energy, reducing stress, and supporting physical and mental balance nicoleleeqigong.com.au.
  • Medical qigong: used in traditional Chinese medicine to aid healing and regulate energy flow in the body qigongawareness.com.
  • Spiritual development: cultivating awareness, meditation, and internal energy Wikipedia.
  • Martial arts training: enhancing strength, flexibility, and energy control Wikipedia+1.

Benefits

Research suggests qigong may help with stress reduction, relaxation, and overall well-being, though evidence for pain reduction and chronic disease management is mixed National Institutes of Health (NIH). Regular practice can improve body awareness, posture, breathing efficiency, and mental focus, contributing to long-term health benefits qigongawareness.com+1.

Summary

Qigong is a holistic practice that integrates movement, breath, and meditation to cultivate vital energy, enhance physical and mental health, and support spiritual growth. Its versatility allows it to be practiced for exercise, relaxation, healing, or martial arts, making it a widely respected and enduring tradition in Chinese culture and beyond Wikipedia+1.

Dantian (丹田) literally means “elixir field” or “cinnabar field” in Chinese, originating from Taoist alchemical and medical traditions.

What does Qigong actually do?

A central theme across many lineages and traditions of Qigong is the three Dantian (energy centres) and the three bodies. This is where the practice begins to deliver its effects and benefits.

Etymology and Meaning of “Elixir Field” (Dāntián)

“Elixir field” is the literal translation of the Chinese term 丹田 (dāntián), which literally means “cinnabar field” or “elixir field” contextualchinese.com. It is a central concept in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Daoist internal alchemy (nèidān)QigongTai Chi, and related practices.

Chi gong/ qigong

22nd letter of the Greek alphabet, representing a -kh- sound (see ch). The letter is shaped like an X, and so the Greek letter name was used figuratively to signify such a shape or arrangement (as in khiasma “two things placed crosswise;” khiastos “arranged diagonally; marked with an X; khiazein “to mark with an ‘X’, to write the letter ‘X'”). Some dialects used chi to represent the -ks- sound properly belonging to xi; Latin picked this up and the sound value of chi in Latin-derived alphabets is now that of English X.

X is for Secrecy, Danger, and The End.

  • The character 工 (gōng), related to , originally depicted tools for work and evolved to signify labor and craftsmanship (Wiktionary), wiktionary.org.
“Gong” (功) in Chinese signifies achievement, merit, or skill attained through effort and perseverance.

Linguistic Meaning

It is often associated with personal development, mastery, and the cultivation of skill in various disciplines, including martial arts, medicine, and scholarly pursuits (LC Chinese School), lcchineseschool.com. In everyday language, it can also refer to work or labor, as it is etymologically related to the character 工, which means “work” or “artisan” (Wiktionary), wiktionary.org.

These practices are all about man/woman achieving everything by their own strength and effort/work/labor.  It is not even about TRUTH, it is about the wisdom of man, but not even man as a whole but about the wisdom of man as seen by the Chinese.   They are also about connecting with the spirit/spirits of the world and the spiritual forces of the heavens.  NOT Heaven but the skies above the earth.  Where the stars dwell.  We already know that the stars are angels.  The COSMOS they talk about is everything that is under the Firmament that GOD has put in place and sealed!

If you could have access to all the knowledge in the Earth and time to study it every minute of your life and you started practicing all these and any other methods of disciple from the day of your birth… YOU will NEVER be wise enough or disciplined enough or clean/pure enough to EARN a place in the World to come.  God and His WAYS are so far above ours.  But, if you surrender you control, your ways, your desires to HIM, HE will share with you all the wisdom of the Universe, He will heal you, He will provide for you. He will prosper you here on Earth and in the World to come.  He will give you the desires of your heart.  WHY would you choose these pagan practices and the demonic spirits connected with them???  WHY?

Etymology

  • 丹 (dān): Originally meant “cinnabar,” a red mineral historically valued in Daoist alchemy for its supposed role in creating an elixir of immortality contextualchinese.com. Over time, “dān” came to symbolize “elixir,” “pill,” or a potent life-giving substance.
  • 田 (tián): A pictograph for “field” or “farmland,” representing a place where something is cultivated or stored contextualchinese.com as in ENERGY Field, or your spirit, the “field” to which they are seeking to gain access

Meaning in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Daoism

In TCM and Daoist practice, the Dantian is considered the primary internal energy center (qi field) in the body Wikipedia+1. It is not a physical organ but a conceptual focal point for storing, cultivating, and mobilizing life force (qi) It is the life that God breathed into you. The term “elixir field” reflects the Daoist alchemical (Magick which is the use of spirits to bend the world to your will.) metaphor: just as an alchemist might mix substances in a “field” to produce an elixir, the Dantian is the “field” within the body where one cultivates one’s own internal elixir of vitality contextualchinese.com.

1590s, “the exhibiting of the capacities of animation or life,” from Latin vitalitatem (nominative vitalitas) “vital force, life,” from vitalis “pertaining to life” (see vital). By 1844 as “capacity for enduring and performing;” figurative sense of “activity, animation, liveliness” is by 1858.

Three Main Dantians

  • Lower Dantian (下丹田, Xià Dāntián): Located in the lower abdomen (in your gut), often called the “golden stove” or “elixir-of-life field” proper. Here, essence (jing) is refined into qi Wikipedia.
  • Middle Dantian: Around the heart (where your spirit resides), where qi is refined into spirit (shen) Wikipedia.
  • Upper Dantian: At the forehead between the eyebrows (“third eye”), where spirit is transmuted into emptiness (wu wei) Wikipedialol, you on tai chi = empty headiness – Not Wisdom, not Mindfulness… EMPTY. The demon spirits live there now.

Cultural and Practical Significance

  • Qi Cultivation: In Qigong and Tai Chi, breathing and movement are coordinated from the lower Dantian to enhance stability, power, and focus contextualchinese.com.
  • Internal Alchemy: Daoist practitioners refine their own “treasures” (jing, qi, shen) within the Dantian to achieve longevity and spiritual enlightenment contextualchinese.comBoy, do they puff you up.  The make you believe that you are in control.  Folks, we control nothing, without God.  If we are not under the blood of Christ we are slaves to sin and our fallen nature, and we cannot even discern our own state.  Only God can open our eyes, our hearts and our minds.
  • Metaphor: The “elixir field” metaphor emphasizes self-cultivation—harvesting one’s own vital energy rather than relying on external substances contextualchinese.com. Lies, lies, lies.  They want you to give their gods/spirits access so that they can take full control leaving you still believing you are in control. LIES

In summary: “Elixir field” (dāntián) is both a literal translation of a Daoist alchemical term and a profound metaphor for the body’s central energy center, where life force is cultivated and sustained. Captured, Possessed and Conquered, fully controlled by dark spiritual forces.

philosopher, “scholar, learned person, wise person; one devoted to the search for universal truth, a student of metaphysical and moral sciences,” replacing Old English philosophe, from Latin philosophus “philosopher,” from Greek philosophos “philosopher, sage, one who speculates on the nature of things and truth,” literally “lover of wisdom,” from philos “loving” (see philo-)sophos “wise; a sage” (see sophist). The form with -er is from an Anglo-French or Old French variant of philosophe with an agent-noun ending. Fem. forms were philosophress (1630s), philosophess (1660s).

Pythagoras was the first who called himself philosophos, instead of sophos, ‘wise man,’ since this latter term was suggestive of immodesty. [Klein]

Philosopher in the Middle Ages also could be “alchemist, magician, diviner,” hence Philosophers’ stone (late 14c., translating Medieval Latin lapis philosophorum, early 12c.), a reputed solid substance supposed by alchemists to change baser metals into gold or silver; also identified with the elixir and thus given the attribute of prolonging life indefinitely and curing wounds and disease. The word “cinnabar” originates from Greek κιννάβαρι (kinnábari), likely borrowed from an ancient Persian term meaning “dragon’s blood,” reflecting its vivid red color and historical significance.

Etymology and Linguistic Origins

The English word cinnabar entered the language in the mid-15th century, derived from Old French cinabre (13th century), which came from Late Latin cinnabaris, itself borrowed from Ancient Greek κιννάβαρι (kinnábari) Etymonline+2. The Greek term was already foreign-sounding, suggesting it was a trade borrowing from the Orient, most likely Persian, where it may have been called zanjifrah or zaniyakh, meaning “dragon’s blood” due to the mineral’s bright red color Etymonline+2. This etymology reflects both the mineral’s striking appearance and its symbolic associations in ancient cultures.

Historical Context and Uses

Cinnabar is a mercury sulfide mineral (HgS), historically valued as the primary source of elemental mercury and as a red pigment called vermilion Wikipedia. Its use dates back to antiquity:

  • China: Used as early as the Yangshao culture for coloring stoneware and in Daoist alchemy for elixirs of immortality Wikipedia+1.
  • Near East and Europe: Employed as a cosmetic (rouge) and pigment in Roman wall paintings, manuscripts, and religious ceremonies Wikipedia+1.
  • Roman Empire: Mines such as Almadén in Spain were highly productive, with laborers often being slaves or condemned criminals due to the mineral’s toxicity etymology.life.
The mineral’s toxicity was recognized early, yet its brilliant red color made it highly prized across cultures. The name “cinnabar” thus not only identifies a mineral but also encapsulates a long history of trade, artistry, and human interaction with a substance that is both beautiful and dangerous etymology.life+1.

Summary

Cinnabar’s etymology traces a path from ancient Persian through Greek and Latin into French and English, reflecting centuries of cultural exchange. Its historical significance spans art, medicine, alchemy, and metallurgy, making it a unique example of a material whose linguistic and material history are deeply intertwined with human civilization Etymonline+3.

qigong and tai chi put you into an altered state of consciousness, connect you to the spirit realms, empty your mind, and open you up to spirits/spiritual forces.

Qigong, Tai Chi, and the Experience of Altered States

Qigong and tai chi are ancient Chinese mind–body practices rooted in traditional medicine (alchemy) and martial arts, designed to cultivate qi (vital energy) through mindful movement, breath control, and meditation FHE Health+1. While they are widely valued for physical health benefits such as balance, flexibility, and stress reduction FHE Health+1, they also have a long-standing role in spiritual and meditative traditions.

How They Can Induce Altered States

In traditional Chinese thought, qigong and tai chi are forms of moving meditation that harmonize the body, breath, and spirit retreatsinsedona.com+1. By slowing movement, deepening breath, and focusing awareness, practitioners can shift from the “fight-or-flight” stress response into a rest-and-digest state BODY & BRAIN YOGA TAI CHI. This neurological calm can expand awareness, leading to:

Some practitioners report heightened awareness or “higher consciousness,” where they feel more attuned to their inner energy and the flow of life BODY & BRAIN YOGA TAI CHI. In certain cultural and spiritual contexts, this can be interpreted as a bridge to spirit realms or non-ordinary states of consciousness retreatsinsedona.com.

Connection to Spirit Realms

In traditional Chinese medicine and some esoteric traditions, qi is seen as the life force that connects the practitioner to the cosmos retreatsinsedona.com.

cosmos(n.)
c. 1200, “the universe, the world” (but not popular until 1848, when it was taken as the English equivalent to Humboldt’s Kosmos in translations from German), from Latinized form of Greek kosmos “order, good order, orderly arrangement,” a word with several main senses rooted in those notions: The verb kosmein meant generally “to dispose, prepare,” but especially “to order and arrange (troops for battle), to set (an army) in array;” also “to establish (a government or regime);” “to deck, adorn, equip, dress” (especially of women). Thus kosmos had an important secondary sense of “ornaments of a woman’s dress, decoration” (compare kosmokomes “dressing the hair,” and cosmetic) as well as “the universe, the world.”Pythagoras is said to have been the first to apply this word to “the universe,” perhaps originally meaning “the starry firmament,” but it later was extended to the whole physical world, including the earth. For specific reference to “the world of people,” the classical phrase was he oikoumene (ge) “the inhabited (earth).” Septuagint uses both kosmos and oikoumeneKosmos also was used in Christian religious writing with a sense of “worldly life, this world (as opposed to the afterlife),” but the more frequent word for this was aiōn, literally “lifetime, age.”The word cosmos often suggested especially “the universe as an embodiment of order and harmony.”So the enemy is building his army.  He wants you to reject God’s covering/armor for Satan’s.  He wants you to line up with HIS fallen world. Rejecting the gift of salvation and life in the world to come, with Christ.  Become ONE with the UNIVERSE, this fallen, sinful, violent, distructive world, become the base animal Satan wants you to be instead of the NEW CREATION God wants you to be.  You are turning to Satan for your health, prosperity and well being… lol…but Satan HATES YOU.  It is a TRAP.  He knows that the moment you allign yourself with this world, you come under HIS Authority.

By clearing blockages in the body’s energy pathways (meridians) and aligning yin and yang forces (good and EVIL forces), qigong and tai chi can create a receptive state for spiritual experiences retreatsinsedona.com+1. This is not a guaranteed outcome, but in some cases, practitioners describe:

  • Vivid inner visions or sensations
  • A sense of presence beyond the physical body

“Emptying the Mind” and Opening to Spirits

The slow, intentional nature of these practices encourages radical presence—focusing fully on the body and breath, which quiets the “chatter” of the mind retreatsinsedona.com. This mental stillness can make the practitioner more receptive to subtle energies or spiritual impressions. In shamanic and Daoist traditions, such states are sometimes cultivated deliberately to connect with ancestral or spiritual forces (spirits/demonic forces) retreatsinsedona.com.

Those who promote this stuff, like to talk about “energy” but all is energy.  Energy is spiritual.  There are only two kinds of spirits, good and evil.  God Tells us to TEST the Spirits to know if they are from GOD.

We are not to empty our minds and imagine, or chant, or open ourselves up to spirits.  These ancient pagan practices are designed to take your focus away from the Creator.  They fool you into believing that YOU are controlling your self… but in reality the demonic/evil forces are taking control of YOU.

Spirits, Entities, and Energy

In spiritual and metaphysical traditions, spirits and entities are often described as non-physical beings or energetic presences (or forces, or energies) that exist beyond the physical realm. They are not bound by the same laws of matter and are considered to be made of or composed of energy activatedintuition.com+1.

What They Are

  • Spirits: These are conscious beings, often the souls of deceased individuals, ancestral guides, or elemental beings. They can be benevolent, neutral, or malevolent, and are believed to interact with the physical world through energy fields www.gilliankane.com+1.
  • Entities: A broader term for any non-physical being or energetic presence, including spirits, thought-forms, interdimensional beings, and elemental forces activatedintuition.com. Entities may influence energy fields, attach to individuals, or communicate through channeling.

Energy Nature

In many belief systems, spirits and entities are manifestations of consciousness in energy form. They may:

  • Emit or absorb energy, affecting the environment or people nearby.
  • Interact with the human aura or energy field, sometimes causing emotional, mental, or physical effects www.gilliankane.com+1.
  • Be drawn to or repelled by certain energies, such as frequencies.

Types and Interactions

  • Ancestral spirits and spirit guides are often seen as positive, offering protection and guidance (this is a lie/deception.  there is no way to communicate with dead humans.  You are not talking to your ancestors, you are communicating with demonic spirits. They are not concerned with your wellbeing. They will give you things until you are fully possessed.  Then their true nature will be revealed and it will be too late for you.) www.gilliankane.com+1.
  • Elemental entities (fire, water, air, earth) are tied to natural forces and can be either helpful or disruptive. (Again these spirits do not care about you.  Don’t think that you can control them, or that they want to help you.  It is a lie.) www.gilliankane.com.
  • Negative or dark entities may be associated with harmful intentions and require protection  (There is no protection from dark or negative entities, except the blood of Jesus Christ/Yahushua Maschiah. The power that comes from God in heaven is the only protection for anyone on Earth).  www.gilliankane.com+1.
  • Entity attachments occur when a spirit or energy presence becomes linked to a person’s aura, potentially influencing thoughts, emotions, or vitality (Once you let a spirit in, the door/gate is open and more will follow.  They like to work in numbers.) soulseekerspath.com.

Spiritual and Practical Implications

  • Protection: Many traditions recommend grounding, shielding, and cleansing rituals to maintain personal energy balance and ward off unwanted attachments  (That would be laughable if it were not so tragic.  YOU are playing with fire.  Dealing with entities/forces/powerful wickedness that you do not understand.  Again, there is only ONE Source of protection that is GOD in heaven.) www.gilliankane.com.
  • Awareness: Recognizing the energy nature of spirits and entities can help in discerning intentions and setting healthy boundaries(Holy Moly… so you are going to trust demonic spirits/entities to lead you and give you discernment? Honey, if you are already dealing with spiritual darkness it is too late for boundaries.  God is the one who sets our boundaries.  If you trust HIM, He will protect those whose hearts belong to Him.  This is not time to align yourself with the wrong side. Judgement is at the door and God is about to pour out his wrath on evil doers.)
  • Energy work: Practices like cord-cutting, smudging, and meditation are used to clear or harmonize with these energies www.gilliankane.com.

In essence, spirits and entities are viewed as energy-based consciousness, existing in non-physical realms and capable of influencing the energetic environment around us. Understanding their nature and how to interact with them is central to many spiritual and metaphysical practices.  Like martial arts, Tai Chi, Qigong, Transcendental Meditation, Yoga, Baduanjin, Liuzijue, Hu Yue Xian, and Yijin Jing, etc.

Literal Meaning

The term dantian is composed of two Chinese characters: 丹 (dān), meaning “cinnabar” or “elixir,” and 田 (tián), meaning “field” or “plot of land” Wikipedia+1. Together, the phrase conveys the idea of a “field where the elixir is cultivated,” reflecting its role as a center for refining vital energies within the body grokipedia.com+1. In English, it is often translated as “elixir field,” “energy center,” or “sea of qi” Wikipedia.

Guarding and Nourishing the Heart, Mind, and Spirit

In the believer’s life, the heart, mind, and spirit are the “land” God has entrusted to us the core of our being where God’s presence dwells and where our relationship with Him is formed. Scripture teaches that these inner realms are both vulnerable and vital, and that we are to guard, protect, and nourish them so they remain aligned with God’s will. This is the field/land your enemy is targeting.  When you align yourself with these pagan practices you are swinging the gates to you land wide open for demonic etities and dark evil forces to enter.

Biblical Foundation

  • Proverbs 4:23 calls the heart “the source of life,” warning that from it flow the springs of life and that it must be guarded with diligence Bible Hub.
  • Philippians 4:7 promises that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus Bible Hub+1.
  • Romans 12:2 urges transformation of the mind (through the washing of the water of the Word of God) so we discern God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will Bible Hub+1.
  • Isaiah 26:3 assures that those whose minds are steadfast in trust will be kept in perfect peace biblerepository.com.

Practical Ways to Guard and Nourish

  1. Immerse in Scripture – Hide God’s Word in your heart (Psalm 119:11) to guard against sin and nourish your spirit Bible Hub+1.
  2. Prayer – Present your requests with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6), surrendering anxiety to God’s peace GotQuestions.org.
  3. Renew Your Mind – Think on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8) biblerepository.com.
  4. Wear God’s Armor – Use spiritual disciplines like meditation on the Word of God, worship, and fellowship to fortify your inner life (Ephesians 6:13–17) Bible Hub.
  5. Abide in Christ – Stay close to Him daily so His peace and presence guard your heart and mind Bible Hub.
  6. Filter Your Influences – Choose media, relationships, and conversations that reflect God’s truth Bible Hub+1.
  7. Fellowship – Gather with believers to encourage one another and strengthen defenses Bible Hub+1.

Living It Out

  • Start each day with Scripture and prayer.
  • Capture thoughts that align with Christ and reject those that rebel Bible Hub.
  • End the day by reviewing God’s faithfulness and resting under His watch Bible Hub.

By guarding our hearts and minds with vigilance and nourishing them with God’s Word, prayer, and fellowship, we keep the “land” of our inner life fertile and secure a place where God’s peace, wisdom, and love can flow abundantly.

Historical and Cultural Origins

The concept of dantian originates from ancient Taoist texts and early Chinese medical writings, such as the Huangdi Neijing (c. 2nd century BCE). The specific notion of three dantians—lower, middle, and upper—appears in early Taoist scriptures like the Scripture of the Yellow Court (Huangting Jing, 3rd century CE) and was further elaborated in alchemical works such as the Shen Ji Zong Lu (1111–1125 CE) grokipedia.com. These texts describe the dantians as transformative fields or “furnaces” for cultivating and refining the body’s vital energiesjing (essence), qi (vital energy), and shen (spirit) grokipedia.com+1.

Japanese Adaptation

In Japanese, the term is read as tanden, and the lower dantian is often referred to as hara (腹), meaning “abdomen” or “belly” Wikipedia. While hara is sometimes loosely equated with the lower dantian, it should not be confused with the stomach organ itself. The Japanese reading reflects the historical borrowing of Chinese characters and concepts, though the cultural interpretations of energy and martial practices differ between China and Japan stackexchange.com.

Conceptual Significance

The dantian serves as a focal point for meditation, martial arts, and internal alchemy (neidan). The lower dantian is associated with storing and transforming jing into qi, the middle dantian with refining qi into shen (spirit), and the upper dantian with transmuting shen into higher consciousness or spiritual awareness Wikipedia+1. The etymology thus reflects both the literal alchemical imagery and the metaphysical function of these energy centers in traditional Chinese thought.

qi

Chinese philosophy
Also known as: ch’i

qi, in Chinese philosophymedicine, and religion, the psychophysical energies that permeate the universe.

Early Daoist philosophers and alchemists, who regarded qi as a vital force inhering in the breath and bodily fluids, developed techniques to alter and control the movement of qi within the body; their aim was to achieve physical longevity and spiritual power.

Chinese:
“steam,” “breath,” “vital energy,” “vital force,” “material force,” “matter-energy,” “organic material energy,” or “pneuma”
Wade-Giles romanization: ch’i
Key People:  Zhu Xi  / Zhang Zai

Neo-Confucian philosophers of the Song dynasty (960–1279) regarded qi as emanating from taiji (the Great Ultimate) through li, the dynamic ordering pattern of the world. That tradition, whose ideas predominate in traditional Chinese thought, held that qi is manifest through yang (active) and yin (passive) modes as wuxing, or the Five Phases (wood, metal, earth, water, and fire), which in turn are the basic processes defining the cosmosSee also yinyang.

Ch’i (also spelled chi or qi) is the vital life force or energy flow believed to pervade all living things in Chinese philosophy and traditional medicine.

Definition and Concept

Ch’i literally means “air,” “breath,” or “vapor”, but in Chinese thought, it represents the energy or life force that animates all beings and the universe religionfacts.com+1. It is a central concept in Taoism, Chinese traditional religion, and Chinese medicine, where the balance, quality, and flow of ch’i are considered essential for health, vitality, and longevity religionfacts.com+1. Some traditions view ch’i as a separate force from the physical world, while others see matter as arising from ch’i religionfacts.com.

Role in Health and Medicine

In traditional Chinese medicine, ch’i is believed to circulate through the body along specific pathways called meridians. Maintaining an unimpeded and balanced flow of ch’i is thought to prevent illness and promote well-being The Free Dictionary+1. Practices such as acupuncture, massage, tai chi, and qigong are designed to regulate and enhance ch’i, often through controlled breathing and movement religionfacts.com+1. For example, meditative breathing exercises like hsing-ch’i visualize ch’i flowing through the body to harmonize energy levels religionfacts.com.    Sure sounds like an awful lot of work to me.  Why would God make life so hard that you must labor all the time to keep everything moving peoperly?  HE WOULD NOT!

In Qigong, “gong” means cultivation, skill, or effort, referring to the disciplined practice required to develop and harness life energy (qi).

The word “gong” (功) in Qigong is often translated as cultivation, work, practice, skill, or achievement and represents the effort and discipline needed to develop mastery over the body’s energy and functions (qi) through consistent practice and training Wikipedia+2. It emphasizes that the benefits of Qigong—whether for health, meditation, or martial arts—are achieved through dedicated effort and repeated practice, rather than being instantaneous.
In combination with “qi” (氣), which refers to the vital life force or energy circulating through the body, Qigong literally means “the cultivation or work of energy”. This highlights that the practice is not just about movement or breathing, but about skillfully directing and balancing qi to improve physical, mental, and spiritual well-being Wikipedia+2.
Practically, “gong” implies that anyone learning Qigong must invest time and effort to develop proficiency. Just as a musician or athlete improves through repeated practice, a Qigong practitioner develops their ability to sense, guide, and harmonize qi through consistent, mindful exercises. This concept also underlies related practices like Tai Chi, where internal energy cultivation is central noahstrength.com+1.

The combination of these two characters, qì + gōng, literally translates to the practice of cultivating life energy, emphasizing both the development of skill and the regulation of vital energy for health, longevity, and spiritual or martial purposes Wikipedia+1. While the practices underlying qigong date back over 4,000 years, including shamanic rituals, Daoist meditative exercises, and early gymnastic breathing techniques like daoyin, the term qigong itself was popularized in the mid-20th century, particularly in the 1940s and 1950s, to describe a broad system of health-preserving exercises and to promote a scientific approach to these practices Wikipedia+2.
In terms of romanization, qigong is the Pinyin form, while older systems include ch’i kung (Wade-Giles) and chi gung (Yale). The earliest known English usage of the noun “qigong” appears in the 1960s, with documented evidence from 1966 in publications such as Black Belt magazine Oxford English Dictionary. This modern naming helped unify diverse traditional practices under a single term, facilitating both domestic and international recognition of the practice.
Overall, the etymology of qigong reflects a synthesis of ancient Chinese concepts of energy (qi) and disciplined cultivation (gong), formalized in modern times to describe a system of exercises for health, meditation, and martial arts.

Escoteric and Philosophical Dimensions

Qigong is not a monolithic practice — it has been shaped by Taoist, Buddhist, Confucian, and martial arts traditions, each adding its own spiritual layer meaningfulmoon.com.

  • Taoist Qigong: Focuses on cultivating qi to align with the Tao (the Way), promoting harmony with nature and the cosmos meaningfulmoon.com.
  • Buddhist Qigong: Integrates mindfulness and breathwork to quiet the mind, reduce attachment, and cultivate compassion Qigong Institute+1.
  • Mystical and Esoteric Traditions: In some schools, qigong is part of inner alchemy (neidan), where energy is refined internally to transform the practitioner’s being, often with symbolic and meditative layers meaningfulmoon.com.

The bottom line is all of this is worthless.  You cannot ever, out of your own effort work hard enough or study enough to earn your way to a place in the World to Come or to get close to GOD.   Dear Ones, the things you are searching for all belong to GOD.  He gives everything freely to all who will come to Him.  Why do you keep looking in places that are unfruitful?  You keep trying to gain all you desire through your own efforts.  You labor and you suffer, but it is all truly in vain.  In the end, NOTHING will stand except the things of GOD.

I understand that in our fallen state it is hard to comprehend that it can be that easy.  Worse yet our pride desires to hold on to control and wants to be able to say “I did it myself”.   In our fallen state, we see submission to God as servitude.  How silly, you cannot even see that the life your now live is servitude.  The truth is, when you lay down your life before God and surrender your willfulness, in exchange you receive all His loving care and blessings beyond measure.  You will have all you need in this life.  You will gain eternal life.  You will live forever in the Garden of God!  Call on HIM!

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

The Gospel of Science — Overview and Themes

The Gospel of Science is a self-help and transformation-focused book by William Edward Douglas Jr., with a 2022 second edition adding extensive scientific data. It blends ancient mind-body practices with modern research to present a vision of personal and global transformation

Core Message

The book argues that humanity is on the cusp of a major shift toward a more peaceful, healthy, and compassionate world. It frames this as a scientific reality, not just a spiritual hope, and emphasizes that our consciousness shapes both our personal health and the world around us

Key Claims and Science

  • Mind-Body Practices: Yoga, meditation, Tai Chi, Chi Kung, and mindfulness are shown to:
    • Increase brain size, especially in empathy/compassion regions.
    • Boost immunity by 50–100%.
    • Improve IQ, creativity, adaptability, and learning ability.
    • Reduce stress, depression, and anxiety.
    • Potentially reverse aging by years

Audience

It appeals to readers interested in:

  • Personal growth and health.
  • Science-based spirituality.
  • Social transformation and global peace.
  • Integrating ancient wisdom with modern research.

Science based spirituality is an oxymoron.  Any attempt at finding spiritual truth that is based on ancient paganism and modern science is DOOMED TO FAIL.  There is no truth in either of those.

In short, The Gospel of Science positions itself as both a personal empowerment guide and a blueprint for planetary change, grounded in what its authors present as emerging scientific evidence.

There will be no peace without the Prince of Peace.  There is no life, without the Creator of Life.  There is NO POWER, that can stand before Almighty God.

mid-14c., “state or fact of knowing; what is known, knowledge (of something) acquired by study; information;” also “assurance of knowledge, certitude, certainty,” from Old French science “knowledge, learning, application; corpus of human knowledge” (12c.), from Latin scientia “knowledge, a knowing; expertness,” from sciens (genitive scientis) “intelligent, skilled,” present participle of scire “to know.”

Scientists KNOW nothing.  All their labors are only experiments and theories.  Their conclusions change like the wind. In all these thousands of years, they have not learned the TRUTH.

The original notion in the Latin verb probably is “to separate one thing from another, to distinguish,” or else “to incise.” This is related to scindere “to cut, divide” (from PIE root *skei- “to cut, split;” source also of Greek skhizein “to split, rend, cleave,” Gothic skaidan, Old English sceadan “to divide, separate”).  As in the discerning Good from Evil. The fruit of the Knowledge of the Tree of Good and Evil only led humanity to arrogance and pride, believing that they could choose for themselves what was good and what was evil.  And everyman did what was right in their own eyes.  Do as thou wilt is the whole of Satan’s Law.

But GOD, is all knowing, all present, all powerful.  His wisdom and knowledge is so far above anyone.  There is NONE like HIM.

Exodus 34:6-7

And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,  Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation biblewisdomhub.org.

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.
He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever;
10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

He is also merciful, loving, compassionate and He cares for you. He is standing ready to provide all that you need.  He pours out his wisdom and knowledge on those who seek Him.

Hebrews 4:12-13

12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Proverbs 1:7

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction

Proverb 9:9-11

Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

11 For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
