There is something happening right now that I hope and pray everyone is giving their full attention. Believers and Non-believers alike, GOD is sending a very clear message. One that is intended to get our attention and to cause us to reflect on our lives and our relationship with him, or lack thereof. What He is doing He is doing for our sake. His grace and love for us desires to see us escape the coming wrath.
Whether you know it or not, Whether you BELIEVE IT or NOT, we are living in the LAST DAYS! Time has a expiration date, and we are getting very near to it, it is even at the door. What God is doing is happening in a very public manner, where it is visible to all, where it cannot be ignored. He wants to give everyone the opportunity to receive the message, become aware of the significance of the hour and turn from their wicked ways.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.2 Peter 3:9-10
In the last 100 years there have been many life-altering developments in our world. The Anti-Christ system described in the Bible has become a reality. It is not fully manifested it is fully in operation. The world is now one entity. All nations are under the same governing spirits and all business/industry/commerce is inter-connected. The World in general has turned away from God. Humanity has voluntarily returned to its vomit. Without GOD, they are once again under the authority of Satan and slaves once again to sin and death. It is their sin nature that causes them to do evil, to pursue the wicked desires of their flesh, to value the worldly treasures which are fleeting and deceitful.
The “CHURCH” which once at east pretended to be holy, has abandoned its pretense and is displaying its true colors.

Prosperity theology (sometimes referred to as the prosperity gospel, the health and wealth gospel, the gospel of success, seed-faith gospel, Faith movement, or Word of Faith movement)[1][A]is a belief among some Charismatic Protestants, originating in the United States, that financial blessing and physical well-being are always the will of God for them, and thatfaith, positive scriptural confession, and giving to charitable and religious causes will increase one’smaterial wealth.[2]Material and especially financial success is seen as evidence of divine grace or favor and blessings, and the opposite, that of judgment.
According to historian Kate Bowler, the prosperity gospel was formed from the intersection of three different ideologies: Charismatic, New Thought, and “an American gospel of pragmatism, individualism, and upward mobility”.[15] This “American gospel” was best exemplified by Andrew Carnegie‘s Gospel of Wealth and Russell Conwell‘s famous sermon Acres of Diamonds, in which Conwell equated poverty with sin and asserted that anyone could become rich through hard work. This gospel of wealth, however, was an expression of Muscular Christianity and held that success resulted from personal effort rather than divine intervention.[16]
The New Thought movement, which emerged in the 1880s, popularized the belief in the mind’s power to achieve prosperity. While initially focused on achieving mental and physical health, New Thought teachers such asCharles Fillmoremade material success a major emphasis of the movement.[17]By the 20th century, New Thought concepts had saturated American popular culture, being common features of both self-help literature and popular psychology.[18]
TheNew Thought Movement is a 19th‑century American spiritual‑healing movement that teaches that thoughts, beliefs, and consciousness shape reality. It draws on religious, philosophical, and metaphysical traditions, emphasizing that “right thinking” can heal the body, mind, and spirit ANTN. Key figures include Phineas Quimby, who linked mental states to physical health, and later leaders like Myrtle Fillmore and Ernest Holmes, who expanded the ideas into Christian‑based spiritual communities The Skeptic’s Dictionary+1.
PsychoCybernetics, popularized by Norman Vincent Peale in the mid‑20th century, is a self‑help philosophy that applies New Thought principles to personal development. It teaches that the mind is a powerful tool that can direct life outcomes through belief, visualization, and positive thinking. Peale’s The Power of Positive Thinking (1952) Robert Schuller pastored his church in Garden Grove, California starting in 1955. He is famous for the Crystal Cathedral. The weekly broadcast of Hour of Power television program followed began in 1970, Robert Schuller’s possibility thinking message made him the most believable and likeable success evangelist in America: “What does it mean to be saved?” Rev. Schuller asks, then answers his own question. “It means to be permanently lifted from sin (psychological self-abuse with all of its consequences as seen above) and shame to self-esteem and its God-glorifying human need-meeting, constructive, and creative consequences.” Or, for another definition, “To be born again means that we must be changed from a negative to a positive self-image – from inferiority to self-esteem, from fear to love, from doubt to trust.” Dr Schuler’s dismissal of teaching on sin rather focusing on human need for love and attention he was likely the source of what would become the prospectus for the Seeker friendly Church.SCHULLER’S CULT OF POSSIBILITY THINKING! | The Believers Web Rhonda Byrne(The Secret, 2006)the teaching that you can get anything you want through visualization and Wayne Dyer(The Power of Now, 1984)adapted New Thought’s “change your thinking, change your life”ethos into modern self‑help frameworksThe Skeptic’s Dictionary+1.
The Prosperity Gospel, also known as the “health and wealth gospel” or “word of faith movement,” is one of the most controversial and influential theological movements in modern Christianity. It teaches that God rewards faith with financial success and physical well-being, and that believers can access these blessings through positive confession, generous giving, and unwavering belief.
Origins and Influential Ideas
The Prosperity Gospel has its roots in early 20th-century American religious and philosophical trends, particularly:
New Thought Movement – A philosophical movement that emphasized the power of the mind, positive thinking, and metaphysical healing. Its influence laid the foundation for ideas that thoughts could directly shape reality.
Pentecostalism – Emerging in the early 1900s with revivals like Azusa Street, Pentecostalism’s emphasis on spiritual gifts, miracles, and divine healing made it fertile ground for prosperity teachings.
Healing Evangelists – Figures like Oral Roberts in the 1940s and 50s combined revivalism with claims of divine healing and supernatural blessings, laying the groundwork for broader prosperity preaching.
Key Figures
Several major figures have shaped and spread the Prosperity Gospel:
Kenneth Hagin – Often considered the “father” of the Word of Faith movement, Hagin taught that Christians have the authority to claim healing and prosperity through their spoken words.
Oral Roberts – Brought prosperity teachings into the mainstream through radio and television, famously saying “God wants you to prosper.”
Kenneth Copeland – A disciple of Hagin, Copeland became one of the movement’s most visible and wealthy proponents, emphasizing faith-filled speech and seed giving.
Benny Hinn, Creflo Dollar, Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen – Each contributed to expanding the message globally, with variations in tone—from overt promises of wealth to more subtle encouragement toward success and blessing.
How It Fits Within the Charismatic Movement
The Prosperity Gospel is closely tied to Charismatic and Pentecostal Christianity, sharing a belief in the active, miraculous work of the Holy Spirit. However, not all charismatics embrace prosperity teaching. Many leaders within these movements have criticized its theological excesses and materialistic tendencies.
Still, its appeal has grown alongside the global Pentecostal movement, especially in Africa, Latin America, and parts of Asia, where the message of hope, healing, and abundance resonates deeply.
Evolution Over Time
While the core message remains, the Prosperity Gospel has evolved in style and presentation:
Earlier iterations emphasized dramatic miracles, seed-faith giving, and direct appeals for donations.
Modern expressions (e.g., Joel Osteen) often focus more on personal empowerment, positive mindset, and general success, avoiding overt materialism.
Media Savvy Expansion – From televangelism to Instagram and YouTube, prosperity preachers have adapted to new platforms to grow their influence.
Global Spread – In countries facing poverty or limited social mobility, the message that faith brings success has gained tremendous popularity.
Criticism and Pushback
The Prosperity Gospel has drawn sharp criticism from across the Christian spectrum:
Theological critiques argue it misrepresents the gospel, ignores suffering, and distorts Scripture.
Ethical concerns arise from the wealth amassed by some preachers while followers struggle financially.
Pastoral damage happens when believers are told their illness or poverty results from a lack of faith.
Groups like The Gospel Coalition and theologians such as John Piper, Costi Hinn (former insider), and Michael Horton have voiced strong opposition.
Where It Stands Today
Despite the criticism, the Prosperity Gospel remains influential. It has become:
A dominant force in global Pentecostalism, especially in the Global South.
A mainstay in Christian media, with polished branding and feel-good messages.
A dividing line in debates over the nature of Christian discipleship, suffering, and wealth.
In a culture of self-help and ambition, its message continues to attract—and challenge—the church.
Closing Thought:
The Prosperity Gospel raises crucial questions for Christians today: What does it mean to be blessed? How should we understand faith, suffering, and God’s provision? Wrestling with these questions is part of the ongoing task of faithful, biblical theology in a modern world.

Carrie Underwood’s drastic transformation since her “American Idol” debut has been a little tough for some of her fans to accept. But she ain’t in Checotah anymore, and she’s got an edgier look to prove it. One of the style snafus she regularly runs into is wearing outfits that her fans consider scandalous because they conflict with her former image as an average small-town country girl.
Underwood shared a photo of the outfit on Instagram, and the style shamers came out in full force. “Sing Church songs and then dress like this,” one person wrote. “Kinda hypocritical…. Lost a lot of respect.” Another person commented, “What happened to your standards? Really disappointed over this choice of clothes. (Lack of clothes).” A third person begged the “Dirty Laundry” singer, “Please take time to reflect before wearing this out again.” In addition to sometimes dressing in a manner that some fans find offensive, Underwood has chosen outfits that were poor fits for the events she was attending, and her fashion choices have failed her in other surprising ways. Inspiring words: In his acceptance speech at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards, Chris Pratt shared some inspiring words that resonated with Christians everywhere. He said, “God is real. it was reported that the actor is a member of Zoe Church in Los Angeles, something that Chris himself confirmed during an interview with Men’s Health last year. This was troubling news for fans, given that Zoe Church is affiliated with the controversial Hillsong Church
In a conversation with the Guardian, Pratt said that killing animals made him feel closer to God. Discussing his love of hunting, Pratt told the publication, “I have a great deal of respect for the animals that I kill, and I feel remorse and all of the emotions that come with it.”
He explained, “The thing inside me that drives me to go out and hunt is very animal. But the remorse, emotion and respect I feel, and the closeness to God that I feel when I’m out there, is my humanity. It’s an opportunity for me to explore what parts of me are animal and what parts of me are human.”

Chris Pratt first married Anna Faris in 2009, and they welcomed a son named Jack in 2012. One year after Pratt and Faris divorced in 2018, he married Katherine Schwarzenegger. The couple has had three kids so far, including two daughters and a son. While they seem like a happy little family, fans are concerned about Pratt’s focus on his family with Schwarzenegger on social media and how little his son, Jack Pratt, appears in comparison.
In November 2021, Pratt paid tribute to Schwarzenegger on Instagram, writing in part, “She’s given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter.” While this might seem like an ordinary comment at first glance, fans took issue with the inclusion of the word “healthy,” as Pratt’s son Jack has dealt with serious health issues since he was a baby. During an episode of her podcast “Unqualified,” Faris said, “Jack had a few surgeries — he had a few hernia surgeries, he’s had a few eye surgeries, and he had a little heart issue as well.” Stars Who Left Their Wives For Younger Women

7 But the end of all things is at hand:be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God:and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
End time Judgment and God’s Wrath — Key Scriptures
The Bible speaks clearly about the final judgment and God’s wrath, showing that these are central to God’s plan for humanity.
1. The Final Judgment In Revelation 20:11–15, the dead are judged according to their deeds, and those whose names are not in the Book of Life are cast into the lake of fire — the second death. This is the ultimate reckoning of all people, great and small OpenBible.info. Matthew 25:31–46 describes Christ judging nations, separating the “sheep” (those who showed mercy) from the “goats” (those who did not)OpenBible.info. Hebrews 9:27 affirms that “it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment” OpenBible.info.
2. God’s Wrath and Judgment in the End Times Old Testament passages warn of a “day of wrath” and “day of the Lord’s anger” when God will execute righteous judgment.
Zephaniah 1:15–18 calls it “a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of destruction and desolation”Online Bible.
Isaiah 13:9 prophesies a day “cruel, with fury and burning anger” that will make the land a desolationOnline Bible.
Jeremiah 25:15 speaks of the “cup of the wine of wrath” poured out on nations Online Bible.
3. The Wrath of God Against Sin Paul writes in Romans 1:18 that God’s wrath is revealed against all ungodliness and wickedness, and in Romans 2:5 that unrepentant people store up wrath for the day of wrath and revelation Online Bible+1. The prophets often linked God’s wrath to covenantal unfaithfulness (e.g., Deuteronomy 9:7–8) and to the destruction of the wicked(e.g., Genesis 6:5–7 for the Flood, Genesis 19 for Sodom) Bible Hub.
4. Eschatological Context In the New Testament, the final judgment is tied to Christ’s return (Matthew 24:30, Revelation 22:12) and the pouring out of God’s wrath in the “seven bowls” of Revelation(Revelation 16:1–19) biblestudyforyou.com+1. 1 Peter 4:17warns that judgment begins at the household of God, and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for others? OpenBible.info.
Summary The Bible teaches that God’s wrath is a just response to sin, and the endtime judgment is the final reckoning where every person will be judged according to their deeds. This judgment is both a warning and a call to repentance, as seen in passages from both the Old and New Testaments.

Understanding “Judgment Comes First to the People of God” (1 Peter 4:17)
The verse in question — “For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?” (1 Peter 4:17) — is often interpreted as a call for believers to hold themselves to a higher standard than unbelievers.
1. Context in 1 Peter In the letter to the church in Asia Minor, Peter is addressing believers who are facing persecution and struggling to live differently from their former sinful lives. He reminds them that the wicked will face God’s judgment, but believers must be even more careful, since they know the truth and the cost of sin GotQuestions.org.
2. Two Kinds of Judgment Scripture distinguishes between:
God’s purifying discipline — when believers sin, God allows suffering and trials to refine them, convict them, and bring repentance (Hebrews 12:4–11; 1 Corinthians 11:32) GotQuestions.org.
The final judgment — reserved for the unrepentant, which will be eternal condemnation (Romans 8:1; Matthew 25:46) GotQuestions.org.
3. Why Judgment “Begins” with God’s People Believers are aware of sin’s consequences and the gospel’s truth. Because of this, God disciplines His own household first, not to condemn, but to:
Remove sin and impurity from their lives.
Teach obedience and holiness.
Prepare them for the final judgment, where they will be judged for their works, not their salvationChristianity.
4. The Bema Seat Judgment After resurrection, believers will stand before Christ at the judgment seat to receive rewards or losses for their earthly service (2 Corinthians 5:10). This is not about salvation, but about accountability for what we have done in His nameChristianity.
5. Practical Application
Self-examination: If God’s judgment begins with us, we must be vigilant against sin.
Humility: We are not beyond discipline; we are called to grow in holiness.
Hope: Believers will never face the final condemnation; instead, they will be judged for their works in Christ.
In short, “judgment comes first to the people of God”means that believers, knowing the truth, are held to a higher standard, and God’s discipline is designed to purify and prepare them for eternal life, not to destroy them.
Over four decades, millions of Americans tuned into the Trinity Broadcasting Network and stuffed its founders’ pockets with donations. Behind the cameras, courtroom battles threatened to tear Paul and Jan Crouch’s business—and family—apart. The inside story of an unholy matrimony.
In 2004,the men of the inner circle watched in approval as twenty-year-old Brittany Crouch chugged expensive wine from an oversized glass. Around them, the crowd buzzed at Del Frisco’s, the white-tablecloth steakhouse in midtown Manhattan populated by Wall Street guys wearing expensive suits and tourists spending a few hundred dollars pretheater.
Brittany’s rite of passage—not dissimilar to a fraternity hazing—was supervised by her grandfather, Paul Crouch Sr. (known to all as “the Godfather”), his handlers, and numerous powerful officials of Trinity Christian Center, the sprawling evangelical church they presided over. Brittany was being indoctrinated into the family business. In 1973, long before she was born, Paul and his wife, Jan, had founded the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), a small Christian TV station in southern California. In the five decades since, TBN has become the world’s largest international Christian-based TV network.
“The network’s attorney was Italian, so they made this little club where Paul Crouch was the Pope,”says a family member who has knowledge of the ritual and who asked to remain anonymous.“They made little nicknames for everybody.”
According to an onlooker, after the men cheered her on, Brittany was encouraged to vomit in the women’s room. When she returned to the table, the fuzzy lights of Sixth Avenue blazing outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, she was no longer a young woman watching the family business from the sidelines.
On its website, TBN claims to be the “world’s largest faith-based Christian-televison network”and “America’s Most Watched Faith Channel.”Its stated goal is to “use every available means to reach as many individuals and families as possible.”TBN broadcasts through more than 80 satellites worldwideand reaches more than 100 million households in the United States.

In 2004—around the same time that Brittany Crouch was initiated in New York—the family relations behind the TBN empire started to crack in ways that could never be fully repaired.First, public reports surfaced accusing Paul Crouch Sr., who was by then a millionaire many times over, of sexual harassment, and spread among the Christian community of which he had long been a pillar.
A few years later came another, even darker allegation:that Brittany’s younger sister, Carra, had been raped at age thirteen by a TBN employee at a TBN event—and that Jan Crouch, Carra’s own grandmother, blamed her for this.
To be indoctrinated into the family business, Brittany Crouch was hazed at the hands of her grandfather, Paul Crouch Sr., a founder of the Trinity Broadcasting Network./ New York TimesRedux
Paul Franklin Crouch Sr. was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, in 1934to Pentecostal missionary parents. As a boy, he loved all things electronic—by the time he was fifteen, he was a licensed ham-radio operator, and as a student at the Central Bible Institute in Springfield, Missouri, he helped establish the campus radio station.
Perhaps more important during his college years was that he met Janice Wendell Bethany, a firecracker of a young woman born in New Brockton, Alabama, also in a Christian family—her father was an Assemblies of God pastor. Jan had some rebel in her. She attended Evangel College, also in Springfield, Missouri, and was kicked out, according to the family member: “She said it was because she was caught smoking, but she would also tell stories about streaking through the dorm rooms.I guarantee she was caught with a boy or something like that.Jan disappointed her father deeply by getting kicked out of Bible college. And that was one of the reasons she rushed into marriage.”
Paul and Jan were married on August 25, 1957. After brief stays in South Dakota and Michigan, and the birth of their two sons, the Crouches moved to Los Angeles in 1961, where Paul was hired by the Assemblies of God church to make missionary films for distribution to denominational churches.
Once settled in L.A., the Crouches reunited with a couple they’d met in Michigan, Jim and Tammy Bakker, who shared their aspirations of spreading a particular form of the gospel.Paul had gained production experience through the Assemblies of God and his work in local television, and in 1973, the two couples partnered to launch TBNas a one-transmitter Los Angeles TV station. “It was Channel 40. We would turn the transmitter on at 6:00 p.m. and turn it off at midnight,” says Paul Crouch Jr., who was a teenager during TBN’s early years. “We had no VCR to play anything back. It was just six hours of Christian television every night. And that’s what created this seed—you planted it in the ground, and it did start to grow. Nothing [at the time] resembled a 24/7 Christian television channel or what later became a network.”
Left: Tammy Faye Bakker and Jim Baker, friends of the Crouches /alamy high
Televangelists Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker became close friends with the Crouches—until differences on the business side split them apart.
From the beginning, TBN programming spanned the spectrum of Christian-themed content—talk, music, variety, and exercise programs inspired by biblical teachings, as well as wholesome family movies. One of its hallmark shows, Praise the Lord, was hosted by the Crouches and had become a daily fixture for millions of viewersby the early 1980s, who tuned in for discussions of faith-based topics with evangelical leaders such as Jack Van Impe and Hal Lindsey.
Aligned with televangelists such as Oral Roberts and the Bakkers,TBN promoted the Prosperity Gospel, emphasizing the connection between prayer, faith, and material success. This ethos was manifested in events like the biannual Praise-a-Thons,where viewers were encouraged to donate, donate, donate, no matter their financial means.
Paul and Jan became increasingly theatrical on the air. Jan wore elaborate makeup and flamboyant dresses, much like her friend Tammy Faye, and was often called “Momma” on the show. She talked emotionally about the Lord’s blessings while waterfalls of tears escaped her spiderlike false eyelashes. Paul, or Poppa, was relentlessly upbeat as he quoted flurries of Bible verses on Praise the Lord.
Never did the elder Crouch expect that he and his wife would become superstars of Christian media, according to Paul Jr. “Dad had always thought that Jim [Bakker] was to be the on-camera person,” he says. “Dad was going to run the business side because he was good at that—he was a good moneyman. But he had never been on camera.”
And their wives? Jan and Tammy Faye were “like twin sisters separated at birth,” Paul Jr. says. “They loved each other. They’d go shopping. They’d go do the eyelash thing together. They’d do the wig thing.”Jan would dye her famous wigs in the sink at home using pink Rit fabric dye.
But over on the business side, the success created fractures in the relationship between Paul and Jim, and they went their separate ways.
Left: Former Trinity Broadcasting Network employee Enoch Lonnie Fordalleges that he was fired after he had a sexual encounter with Paul Crouch, which Crouch denied. /getty images
Enoch Lonnie Ford was hired in 1992 to work in TBN’s Orange County telephone bank. In 2004 he threatened to go public with claims about an alleged sexual encounter in 1996 with Paul Sr., and the TBN façade began to unravel.
Paul Sr. had already settled with Ford for $425,000after Ford accused him of wrongful termination in 1998. (The September 22, 2004, Los Angeles Times article detailing the case ran with the headline “Ex-Worker Accusing TBN Pastor Says He Had Sex to Keep His Job.”) Ford then claimed the alleged sexual encounter was the real reason he was fired. Paul Sr. denied it, and TBN issued a press release alleging that Ford had a history of drug problems and a past sex offense.
But for the Godfather, a long charade was busted. “Dad couldn’t play baseball, but I never thought as a kid that he was gay. That just never crossed my mind,” Paul Jr. says. “But in hindsight, he did struggle, I think, with same-sex attraction. Now, did he have an affair or abuse that Black guy? I don’t know.I wasn’t there. I asked my mother that. I said, Mom, did Dad—is this true? She told me, Yes, it’s true.”
Paul and Jan had separate mansions in a gated community in Newport Beach, California.Jan spent little time at her $5.6 million home, opting instead to live in a company-owned estate near Orlando, where she managed the Holy Land Experience theme park.Paul Sr. owned a property nearby but was rarely there.“It was a little confusing and disheartening—they lived separate lives other than being on the air together,”Paul Jr. says.
In 2012, Brittany’s younger sister, Carra, filed a lawsuit against the Trinity Christian Center of Santa Ana, Inc. (TBN’s corporate entity), alleging that at age thirteen, she was raped and molested by a TBN employee during a 2006 Praise-a-Thon event in Atlanta. According to legal documents, “Jan was the TCC officer and director and was responsible for overseeing the telethon.” In her lawsuit, Carra said an employee “coerced himself” into her hotel room, ordered wine from room service, and pressured her to drink. He then offered her water, which she contends was laced with a sedative. When she woke the next morning, blood was on the sheets, and her body was sore.
After confiding in her mother, Tawny Dryden Crouch, and grandmother, Jan, about the assault, Carra claimed Jan blamed her for the incident, saying, “Why would you have that man in your room?”Carra sued the Trinity Christian Center, alleging negligence and mishandling of an assault.
According to Paul Jr., “My wife noticed Carra had mood swings, and her grades started to decline in school. So she took Carra to tell my mother that some bad stuff happened in Atlanta.”
Carra’s lawsuit claimed that under California child-protection laws, Jan, as an ordained minister, was obligated to report any suspected abuse to the authorities. The defense rejected that argument, arguing that she learned of the incident in her role as a grandmother, not as an employee of Trinity, which exempted her from mandatory-reporting requirements. In 2017, a jury dismissed Carra’s claim that Jan was bound by mandatory-reporting requirements but awarded her $2 million in damages, allocating 45 percent of the blame for those damages to Jan’s conduct. The court later reduced the award to $900,000.

Jan had died in 2016, but the case continued. In 2019, a California appellate court upheld the $900,000 damages award, writing, “We do not hesitate to exclaim ‘Outrageous!’ when presented with the facts of Jan Crouch’s behavior toward Carra.Flying into a tirade at a thirteen-year-old girl who had been drugged and raped and yelling at her that she was stupid and it was her fault is extreme and outrageous conduct that exceeds the bounds of decency tolerated in a civilized community. Such conduct is not mere insults, indignities, petty oppressions, or other trivialities. At age thirteen, Carra suffered a horrible, traumatic, and life-altering experience.Yelling at her that she was stupid and it was her fault was cruel, intolerable, and obviously certain to produce severe emotional harm.”
TBN opted not to appeal the appellate court’s ruling, effectively bringing an end to the litigation in 2020.
Paul Jr. shared his reaction to his daughter’s lawsuit, suggesting—shockingly, and troublingly—that he was torn about whether to support TBN or his own daughter: “My mom blamed Carra for this guy abusing her or [allegedly] raping her.I think [Jan] just had something fractured in her when it came to rape,” he says. “And that’s part of what puts me in the pressure cooker between, as they say, a rock and a hard place. That’s literally what it boiled down to. I was faced with Sophie’s choice—you know, which child do you put on the train?”
He continues: “I’m going to take a bullet for my daughter. And they [TBN] tried like crazy to get me to flip and say that Carra lied or that Carra did this or that. I said, Guys, Carra would not lie about something like that.”
Paul Crouch Sr., died in 2013 from degenerative heart disease. “He was bogged down by his addictions and personal issues. He was an addict,” Paul Jr. says. “He was battling alcoholism and medicating himself, and his body just broke down. He was going to Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. I was told he was not well by TBN insiders. The nurse at the desk knew me and recognized my dad.He had a special code name, and I didn’t know it, and because of that, I couldn’t see him. She threatened that I would be arrested for trespassing. All I know is that a few weeks later, he died at home.”
Paul Sr.’s issues with drinking were not a secret, according to a family member: “Years ago, his doctors told him he needed to stop drinking wine because it had too much sugar, so then he just started drinking vodka on ice or anything he could get his hands on.” Neither Paul Jr. nor his family were informed about his father’s death.
In 2016, Jan Crouch died in Orlando at age seventy-eight. “Mom held on for a few years after Dad passed away, but when she had a stroke, I was given one day to say goodbyeand I was not able to make it on such short notice,” Paul Jr. says. “We weren’t invited to either funeral.”
Jan’s death, like the death of Tammy Faye Bakker, symbolized the end of a long era defined by televangelist power couples who used showmanship to amass hundreds of millions of dollars for their churches.

Paul and Jan owned two multimillion-dollar mansionsin a gated community in Newport Beach, California. One is depicted in the bottom left of the photo; the other is in the top right, with a blue roof.
“My mom is an interesting mix of General George Patton and Mother Teresa,” her son says. “She could be very strong but tender to the Lord, but on the business side she would be very hard to work with.” Tears appear in his eyes as he continues: “If you were on her bad side, I know that you were happy she was gone. But I am still approached by strangers today who said they were saved by TBN and by my parents.People say they would be dead without TBN.”
Carra Crouch was not the only sibling who had serious legal troubles within the family.Brittany had long been a shining star and a corporate executive in the family business. But in 2011 both she and her then-husband, Michael Koper, who worked at TBN as a corporate secretary, a vice president, and a director of Christian broadcasting, were fired after she brought forward concerns about financial irregularities at the company.TBN went even further, launching a series of lawsuits against the couple, alleging fraud, embezzlement, and misuse of confidential information.Brittany and Koper followed with their own lawsuits accusing the corporation of misappropriation of funds and financial fraud.
One family insider said the lawsuits seemed like “an intimidation tactic that worked.Brittany spent years living in fear, feeling she was being watched and worried about her safety.”
But the courts took notice. Responding to one of these TBN-filed lawsuits, District Judge David O. Carter admonished TBN for its tactics, warning that “incessant demands for injunctive relief, and insistence on expedited rulings suggest that Plaintiff Trinity’s strategy is to overwhelm the courts as well as Michael and Brittanyso as to avoid a rational decision on the merits,” a tactic that he said “lends credence to Michael and Brittany’s contention that these lawsuits are retaliation for whistleblowing about Plaintiff Trinity’s extensive fraud.”
In other words, the judge suggested TCC’s filing of various lawsuits in multiple jurisdictions making a range of redundant allegations looked like an effort to punish the couple and distract from the company’s own actions—and it wasn’t working.
The judge sent the main dispute to arbitration.Brittany and Koper (who later divorced) had accrued legal debts due to all these lawsuits, leading Koper to file for bankruptcy.TCC fought back in bankruptcy court, arguing that the debts were the result of fraud and couldn’t be wiped out.

Trinity Broadcasting Network’s most recent falling out involved a legal battle with Dr. Phil McGraw and his company Merit Street Media.
Eventually, TBN was awarded a default judgment.
In 2025, Trinity Broadcasting Network found itself back in an unwelcome spotlight, this time in a high-profile clash with the right-wing television personality Dr. Phil McGraw and his company Merit Street Media. The venture, launched in 2024 with McGraw’s Peteski Productions providing content and TBN overseeing distribution, unraveled into finger-pointing:Merit Street claimed that TBN failed to deliver national reach, withheld payments, and saddled them with debt, while TBN countered that McGraw exaggerated viewership potential, misrepresented the ownership of his media library, and failed to fulfill production promises. McGraw’s legal team has publicly refuted these accusations, dismissing TBN’s lawsuit as a distraction meant to obscure the network’s own failures and pointing out that Peteski Productions delivered hundreds of episodes while suffering millions in losses due to TBN’s actions.
At a federal hearing on September 16, McGraw’s lawyer Charles Babcock said that McGraw, now seventy-five, did not want this legal fight; he resisted bankruptcy for months, trying to avoid starting over at this stage of his life, but ultimately had no choice given the “toxic” state of affairs with TBN.
Left: Paul Crouch Jr.
Paul Crouch Jr. still hopes that the legacy of Trinity Broadcasting Network can survive the lawsuits and scrutiny.
Paul Crouch Jr. still hopes his parents’ dream can survive. “I want [TBN] to continue to do what my parents intended it to do—[provide] an opportunity to watch faith-based programming twenty-four hours a day,” he says. And yet the disagreement with McGraw did lead to bankruptcy for Merit Street, putting the show, Dr. Phil Primetime, on hold—andigniting more legal trouble.
Crouch acknowledged the gravity of the moment, drawing a line between past battles and the network’s current crisis.Reflecting on the earlier lawsuits, Crouch says he had warned his parents that suing his daughter Brittany would “open up a Pandora’s box” and quoted scripture: “If you live by the sword, you will die by the sword. You reap what you sow.”
Paul Crouch, founder of the Trinity Broadcasting Network, the world’s largest Christian television network, always had a knack for avoiding scandal, brushing off allegations of graft and sexual harassment with ease. However, the televangelists’ FBI file, released after his death, reveals that his criminal ties potentially go a lot deeper – and weirder– than anybody could have imagined.Requested by long-time MuckRock user RobbyD, the file reveals the laundry list of Crouch’s activities the FBI was monitoring or even investigating.Though the file is heavily redacted, it’s intact enough to describe the FBI’s investigations into some of his exploits, whose findings are mostly based on a host of phone calls to and from Trinity Broadcasting Network with some pretty sketchy players.
Investigation by the Italian IRS
The first 20 or so pages of the Crouch document make it clear that the FBI and IRS were working closely with the Italian GDF, essentially their Internal Revenue Service,to fully investigate Crouch’s foreign and domestic holdings.According to the file, the FBI and GDF found that, among other things, CHLC, an apparent subsidiary of TBN, was conducting a false financial statements scam they called “pre-billing,”where in order to continue receiving loan money the organization would submit receipts for completed sales that were actually still a “work in progress, with no amount being due from the customer as of the date of the collateral report.”
A CHLC employee confirmed that such practices were occurring. The Italian side of the investigation ended up centering on TBN’s potential violation of the Italian Mammi law, which according to the document prohibits foreign ownership of broadcasting companies in Italy. In addition, the GDF said it “believes the company maybe be acting as a front for foreign investors,” referring to TBN.
The Italian Mob in NY
Apparently as soon as word got out that Crouch and TBN were in the money laundering biz,the Italian mob decided they wanted in.The file mentions phone contact between TBN and the Sons of Italy Lodge in the Bronx, NY.You might be thinking that this is pretty shaky evidence to suggest Crouch was in contact with the mob,but considering the fact that the phone record was included in a subsection of the infamous Bronx mobster Vincent “Chin” Gigante’s FBI file, it’s pretty clear that the FBI was drawing some kind of connection. This probably didn’t make the GDF too happy either.
Palestinian Gun Running
As part of the FBI’s joint investigation with the GDF and IRS, the FBI dug up an older investigation into reports that Crouch, along with others, had been working with the Palestinian Liberation Organization, receiving funds to “run guns” to the organization. The reports accuse Crouch and his partners as being motivated by “anti-semitic and white supremacist,” beliefs.
On the next page, the same investigation identified Trinity Broadcasting Network’s number in a call with the Islamic Education Center based in Baltimore. Later the document explains that FBI Los Angeles investigated crouch for the allegations, but dropped the case once they officially determined he was a religious leader.
East German Spying
Yep, that’s in there too.Numerous sections of the document mention TBN’s phone communications with an unnamed agent who was “recruited by the East German Intelligence Service.”The file later describes that the man believed to have been recruited by East Germany was a New York attorney who called TBN repeatedly between April and September of 1986.
Other sketchy phone calls that went in and out of TBN over the years were from a Hungarian computer programmerwhom TBN sponsored for U.S. citizenship, and phone calls from a number in Omaha to the TBN line which were documented in a separate FBI narcotics transfer investigation.Maybe someday all those little white redactions will be peeled away and we’ll know exactly what Crouch was up to.

Occult Significance and Symbolism of the Interchange of Three Xs
In esoteric traditions, the three Xs — often arranged in a triangle or intersecting pattern— can carry layered meanings tied to balance, duality, and cosmic order. While there is no single universally defined “interchange of three Xs” in classical occultism, the concept aligns with several well-known symbols and numerological principles.
1. The Triple X as a Triad of Forces In many mystical systems, the number three represents the trinity — a fundamental unity of opposites in harmony. This could be the threefold godhead (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), (WRONG! It could not be the GODhead because the Father-Son-Holy Spirit are not a unity of opposites. They are fully ONE) the three realms (earth, air, spirit), or the three aspects of the self (ego, soul, spirit). The X shape itself is a symbol of crossing, intersection, and balance, often linked to the Ouroboros (the serpent eating its tail)in alchemy and Hermeticism, representing the cycle of life, death, and rebirth The Mystica.
2. Numerology and the Number 3 In numerology, the number 3 is associated with creativity, expression, and communication.Three Xs can be seen as a triple cross, reinforcing the idea of threefold power or threefold protection. In some traditions, three intersecting lines (like Xs) symbolize the threefold law — the principle that “as above, so below,” where actions have proportional effects in the spiritual and material realmskarmaandtide.com.
Is “As Above, So Below” a Biblical Concept?
NO “As above, so below”does not appear in the Bible. It originates from the Emerald Tablet, an ancient Hermetic text attributed to the mythical figure Hermes Trismegistus, and is a cornerstone of Hermetic philosophyjennydixon.com+1. Hermeticism, blending Greek, Egyptian, and Near Eastern thought, teaches that the universe (macrocosm) and the individual (microcosm) are mirrors of each other, reflecting a divine order in both realms biblepure.com+1.
Origins and Meaning
Hermeticism: The principle expresses the idea that heavenly realities have earthly counterpartsand vice versa, a concept known as the law (theory) of correspondence jennydixon.com+
Currently, the earth does not reflect the HEAVENS. Why, because it is still under the dominion of Lucifer/Satan/The Devil. It is God’s desire to restore the Earth to harmony with Heaven. He tells us to pray, “THY KINGDOM COME< THEY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. ONLY GOD CAN DO THAT/MAKE THAT HAPPEN.
3. Symbolism of the X Shape The X is a universal symbol of crossing paths (the Crossroads, where one meets with the devil, where lifechanging choices MUST BE MADE),balance, and duality. In occultism, it can represent the union of opposites (male/female, spirit/matter, light/dark). When three Xs intersect, it can suggest threefold balance — a point where multiple forces meet and align.
4. Possible Occult Associations
Ouroboros: The eternal cycle of creation and destruction, where the three Xs could represent the three stages of the cycle.
This is a lie from the pit of HELL. (It is appointed to man ONCE to die and after that the judgement. God’s plan for man is not circular. It is linear. You are born, you live, you get born spiritually through the blood of Christ, you die and you are judged. YOU DO NOT COME BACK.)
Sigil of Baphomet: In some modern occult interpretations, the Xs may be part of a sigil representing balance and divine knowledge Wikipedia.
Hermeticism: The three Xs could mirror the threefold law and the threefold nature of the cosmos described in Hermetic texts.
The Threefold Law in Hermeticism
In Hermetic teachings, the Threefold Law is a principle that states: “What you put out, you will get back, threefold”. It is often expressed as “What you send forth, you will receive, threefold”Wikipedia.
The Threefold Law is a moral and energetic law rooted in the Hermetic worldview, which sees the universe as a unified whole where actions, thoughts, and intentions have consequences. It is closely related to the Principle of Cause and Effect in the Seven Hermetic Principles gateofconsciousness.com+1. The “threefold” aspect means that the return is amplified — not just equal in measure, but multiplied in intensity, scope, or impact.
5. Modern and Symbolic Use In contemporary occult art, tattoos, and sigils, three intersecting Xs are sometimes used to denote spiritual alignment, cosmic balance, or the convergence of energies. They can also be a stylized representation of the trinity in a geometric form.
In summary: The “interchange of three Xs” in occult symbolism likely points to a trinity in balance, where three intersecting forces or aspects meet and harmonize. It can represent the union of opposites, the cycle of life, and the threefold law of cause and effect. The Xs themselves symbolize crossing, balance, and duality, making the three Xs a potent emblem of harmony, cosmic order, and spiritual alignment.

TRINITY HAS NOW BEEN REORGANIZED, RESTRUCTURED, INFUSED WITH THE LATEST AND GREATEST TECHNOLOGY AVAILABLE, DIGITIZED, INDUSTRIALIZED AND FULLY GLOBALIZED! spacer
The world’s largest Christian television network and America’s most-watched faith-and-family channel.
Launched by Paul and Jan Crouch in 1973 with one small station broadcasting to the Los Angeles area, TBN today is a growing family of over thirty global networks reaching every inhabited continent with a broad range of inspirational, entertaining, and life-changing programming twenty-four hours a day.
A Global Messenger of God’s Love
Launched over fifty years ago by Christian television pioneers Paul and Jan Crouch, Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) made its humble debut on May 28, 1973 with one small television station airing a few hours of simple but inspiring programming each night to viewers across the Los Angeles area. From the start the goal of TBN was simple: to use the “miracle” of television to take the message of salvation, hope, and healing through Jesus to people everywhere.
Before long TBN was on the air full time, and through the support of a core of enthusiastic TBN partners that one small channel expanded to several dynamic Christian TV stations across America, followed in a few short years by strategically located international TBN channels as well — a fruitful combination reaching untold millionsof hearts and homes across the earth with the love of Jesus.
Today through the leadership of second-generation media pioneers Matt and Laurie Crouch,TBN is impacting every corner of the earth— over 175 nations — with life-transforming Christian programming and content in 17 languages through more than 30 global networks.
As to TBN’s reach, it is nothing short of miraculous.Across the U.S. TBN is available in approximately 100 million television households, making it America’s most-watch faith channel, according to Nielsen ratings. And globally an astounding two billion potential viewers have round-the-clock access to TBN programming via satellite, cable, and over-the-air broadcast, as well as through a wide range of digital platforms on the Internet.
Just as miraculous is the explosion of technology that has enabled more people than ever to experience TBN’s programming— and the good news of Jesus — not just via traditional television, but anytime and anywhere through computers, smart phones, personal tablets, and other electronic devices.
What it all means is that as never before the entire earth has become a vast mission field for the gospel, and through the prayer and support of our friends and partners TBN is able to reach billions of souls 24 hours a day with encouragement, inspiration, and the kindness of God’s love. That is today’s TBN!
We have seen how even mighty warriors for GOD filled ith the best of intentions and doing their best to follow HIS VOICE, can fall prey to temptation and the onslaught of evil the devil brings against them. I believe that GOD is using the Worldwide Web for HIS PURPOSES in spite of the evil intentions and the demonic forces withing the technology. But, we as the body of CHRIST must be diligent. We must pray for the leaders in the Body of Christ. We must pray for discernment. We must test the spirits to see if they be of GOD and we must speak up and call out those things which are not. Pray for the lost people of the world. Pray for the children of GOD as well, that we might stay strong and walk closely with HIM.
I believe that we are right at the very end of this Earth as we know it. I am convinced. Even more when I see that GOD is fulfilling the WORD in Matthew 24!! LOOK, READ the verses below. Notice what comes RIGHT AFTER vere 14!!
Matthew 24:14-29
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations;and then shall the end come.
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Behold, I have told you before.
Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
They had only a single borrowed camera and a shower curtain as backdrop. It was 50 years ago, on May 28, 1973, that Paul and Jan Crouch broadcast their first television program from a modest studio in Southern California. But the story of TBN began long before then.
In the early 1900s, an Iowa farmer’s wife loaded up a revival tent in the rumble seat of her Model T and preached the Gospel from Texas to the Canadian border. She used the latest of inventions, the first affordable automobile, as the vehicle to bring the good news of Jesus to everyone in her path.
Years later, Paul Crouch Sr. would not only inherit his grandmother’s passion for evangelism but her ingenuity as well. Together with his wife Jan, and in response to the voice of God, he went about building the largest Christian network in the world. Paul and Jan would answer the plea from an old hymn—“to give the winds a mighty voice”—in the most innovative way possible. Utilizing the inventions of their generation—broadcast television and satellites—they proclaimed the message of Jesus through the airwaves.
“Always remember,” said Paul Sr., “for us these mind-boggling inventions are for one thing: to win lost souls and bring them into the great Kingdom of God!”
Paul and Jan Crouch continued to respond to the voice of God, along with TBN’s faithful partners, as they faced challenge after challenge to bring solely faith-based content to the surrounding cities and eventually the entire nation. Four TV stations acquired during the first decade of ministry multiplied to more than 4,000 TV stations in the second. Today, 50 years later, TBN is broadcasting 24/7 in over 175 nations on over 30 networks and in 17 languages, with the potential to reach 2 billion viewers every single day, making TBN America’s Most Watched Faith Channel®.
The obstacles Paul and Jan faced as the first generation of TBN became lessons of perseverance and faith for the second generation: in addition to responding to the voice of God and overcoming challenges, the second generation learned how to recognize God-given opportunities and carry on a legacy.
With the same passion and the same desire to utilize the latest technology for the sake of Christ, Matt and Laurie Crouch have brought TBN into the digital age, with programming content available and accessible on any electronic device around the world.
The mission is the same, as the new generation increases its understanding of the Great Commission and endeavors to fulfill it completely. Paul and Jan’s passion for evangelism equipped them to carry out the Great Commission with a singular focus: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation”(Mark 16:15). For Matt and Laurie, the vision is one step farther: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19).
“It feels like it’s a different task, creating content that could disciple a nation,” says Matt. “We need to message the life-giving understanding that Jesus is more applicable in your daily life.” And how do you disciple a nation? “[We] make Jesus and his goodness real to people.”
Jesus is not just life-giver of the hereafter; he is life-giver of the here and now.
For the next 50 years and beyond, with each subsequent generation, TBN will continue to carry out the final words of Jesus—by both preaching the Gospel and creating content that makes the goodness of Jesus real to every person in every nation of the world.
“God’s voice started this ministry,” says Matt Crouch, reflecting on the beginnings of TBN, “and that is a foundational truth here. Paul and Jan didn’t have a good idea. They had a response to the voice of the Lord. It makes you want to make sure you’re listening.”
For the private-5G record… Texas-based private cellular and broadcast technology company Trilogy NextGen has installed an Ericsson-made private 5G network at the new Trinity Broadcasting Network
Symbolism of a Circular Stage with a Walkway Leading to It
A circular stage with a walkway (hanamichi)combines two powerful symbols — the circle and the stage — each with its own layered meanings.
1. The Circle In many cultures and spiritual traditions, the circle is the most perfect shape, symbolizing unity, wholeness, infinity, and the cyclical nature of lifeWikiHow. It has no beginning or end, representing eternal cycles such as birth, death, and rebirth, or the unity of all things. In religious contexts, it can also signify divinity and spiritual completeness. In pagan/occultic/esoteric religions/beliefs
2. The Stage The stage is a universal symbol of performance, self-expression, creativity, and public presentationsymbolopedia.com. It can represent a life chapter, a moment of revelation, or a place where truths are unveiled. In theater, it is the arena where actors embody roles, and in metaphorical terms, it can mirror the human journey of manifestation and authenticitysymbolopedia.com.
3. The Walkway (Hanamichi) In Japanese Kabuki theater, the hanamichi is a flower pathextending into the audience, used for dramatic entrances and exitssosjapandrama.weebly.com+1. It breaks the traditional proscenium barrier, creating a direct connection between performer and viewer, and can symbolize movement, transition, and the flow of life. In a circular stage, the walkway can also suggest continuity and cyclical movement.
The Meaning of a “Flower Path” in Japanese Religion
In Japanese religious and cultural contexts, a “flower path” is not a single, fixed term, but rather a concept that can refer to several related ideas— from literal flower-lined trails to symbolic spiritual journeys.
1. Literal flower-lined paths in gardens In Japanese gardens, especially those influenced by Buddhist and Shinto aesthetics, paths are often lined with seasonal flowers, moss, or other natural elements. These floral arrangements are part of the garden’s design to guide visitors through a spiritual journey — a process of reflection, mindfulness, and connection with nature japanesegardencraft.com. The flowers themselves can symbolize impermanence, beauty, and the harmony between human life and the natural world.
2. Symbolic “path” in religious practice In Buddhism, a “path” can represent the journey toward enlightenment. In this sense, a “flower path” might be a metaphor for a spiritual route marked by beauty, reflection, and devotion. For example, in Zen (Chan) tradition, the “Flower Sermon” is a teaching where the Buddha holds up a lotus flower and smiles — a moment of direct, non-verbal wisdom that marks the beginning of the Chan path Buddha Weekly. The lotus, a central Buddhist symbol, is often associated with purity and enlightenment.
3. Kadō (flower arranging) as a spiritual discipline Kadō, the Japanese art of flower arrangement, is itself a “path”— a way of cultivating oneself through the beauty and impermanence of flowers wa-japan.org. Arranging flowers is not just aesthetic; it is a meditative practice that deepens one’s awareness of life, seasons, and the cosmos.
4. Shinto and nature worship In Shinto, the concept of kami (spirits)inhabits all aspects of nature, including plants and flowers.A “flower path” could also be seen as a route through sacred natural spaces, where each flower or plant holds spiritual significance, inviting reverence and gratitude. Which means worship and adoration/verneration of the spirit in the flower or connected to it.
I do believe that God is using these tools of the devil to get the GOOD NEWS out to all people. That is why God tells us to TEST THE SPIRITS to see if they be of GOD. You can not be in any position to do that unless you are a born-again believer. Nor can you do that unless you are aware of the way the DEVIL operates and understand that there are SPIRITS behind EVERYTHING. If it is not of the Spirit of GOD, then it is of the Devil and all the evil spirits who are with him.

(TBN) studio in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The network, which also combines multi-access edge compute (MEC) from Microsoft Azure, runs in the 3.55-3.7 GHz CBRS band.It uses Ericsson’s 5G Radio Dot radio and core networking system.
The deployment at TBN’s broadcast center, a 215,000-square-foot facility called the PLEX, will be able to wirelessly support up to 20 simultaneous live and recorded broadcasts from 5G-connected cameras, said Trilogy NextGen. A statement said it “enables wireless capture of digital content with near real-time latency, reliable mobile communications for production crews, and mission-critical security operations for staff and emergency personnel.”
TBN is running a 5G push-to-talk (PTT) system for real-time comms between production trailer security and building facilities teams. This delivers “greater reliability than previously used Wi-Fi devices”, said Trilogy NextGen. New media network Merit Street Media, formed by US television personality Dr. Phil McGraw, has a set up at TBN, and will make use of the new private 5G network, a statement said.
Parag Shah, president at Trilogy NextGen, said: “Trilogy NextGen has unleashed the agility, speed and security of private 5G networking to streamline and transform the broadcast studio of tomorrow. This next-generation 5G network powered by the edge compute capabilities of Microsoft Azureeliminates the constraints of wires and cables that limit creativity, reinventing the world of film and television.”
Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), an international, Christian-based broadcast television network, is officially getting into the private wireless 5G networking game.
The company is currently putting together a new leadership teamfor its Trilogy 5G technology spinoff in order to use its ATSC 3.0 spectrum holdings for applications beyond broadcast TV. Specifically, TBN’s Trilogy 5G subsidiary is working to a build private wireless networking business that can use technologies like 5G and ATSC 3.0 inside of spectrum bandsranging from 600MHz to 3.5GHz CBRS to unlicensed 5GHz.
Parag Shah recently joined Trilogy 5G from Amdocs, where he worked on the company’s CBRS efforts. He said Trilogy is offering something unique – low-band, broadly available spectrum initially intended for broadcast TV – in the private wireless networking space.
“We see it as a way to be different in the marketplace,” he said of the company’s ATSC spectrum holdings, which generally sit between 100MHz and 600MHz. “This is an exciting space that we’re about to enter.”
The next NextGen
Trilogy “has access to the largest ATSC 3.0 broadcasters, covering 72% of the country, and more are in the works,” the company said on its website. “Combine this with the technical abilities designed into the new [ATSC] 3.0 standard to ‘cellularize’ the delivery of the signal through SFN’s (Single Frequency Networks), not in recent times has such a significant increase in data payload delivery come to the market. Through our iterative testing we have produced valuable acknowledged research, a proven ecosystem, standards influence, and governmental policy influence with our custom built ATSC 3.0 lab, merging broadcast with LTE|5G.”
The company’s tagline is “where broadcast, broadband and cloud converge.”
ATSC 3.0 is a next-generation, IP-based broadcast TV signaling standard that is being marketed under the “NextGen TV” brand. Shah, Trilogy’s president, said TBN is looking to monetize portions of TV broadcasters’ spectrum holdings that are not being devoted to NextGen TV.
Shah said Trilogy’s initial focus will be on building networks for schools, colleges and other educational institutions. He said that focus stems fromthe network the company built in Dallas covering 4,500 students. The network was initially constructed in CBRS and TV White Space spectrum, and the company is now layering in ATSC spectrum on top of that.
He said the company would look to replicate that model across other school districts, potentially via federal funding for the digital divide. So, this is why during the COVID Lockdown they were erecting cell towers at all the schools.
To be clear, a number of school districts have used pandemic funding to build private wireless networks to keep homebound students connected during COVID-19 lockdowns.
An expanding focus in a crowded market
But Shah suggested that Trilogy 5G will look into a number of different market verticals for additional opportunities. He suggested the broad reach of TV broadcasting spectrum coupled with the network capacity afforded by CBRS spectrum could appeal to enterprise customersranging from automakers to CDN cachers to distance learning providers to digital billboard operators.“There’s hundreds of applications and use cases,” he said.
Trilogy 5G of course is not alone in chasing the private wireless networking market. Vendors like Ericsson and Nokia, operators like Verizon and Dish Network, startups like Celona and Ligado and hyperscalers like Google and Amazon are just a few of the companies that have announced major investments into the private wireless networking space. Just this week NextWave announced it is currently building 4G/5G networks in some major US cities devoted to private wireless networking applications.
Nonetheless, Shah said Trilogy 5G is currently building a vendor ecosystem and sales pipeline to support its own expansion ambitions.
“All this stuff has been around for a long time,” Shah said of technologies like ATSC. Indeed, TV broadcasters have been discussing the potential of ATSC 3.0for almost a decade now.
Shah said it’s now time to have a fresh look at what ATSC and TV broadcasters’ spectrum holdings can do. “Timing is everything,” he said.
“He never talked about that, but he had diabetes, but he kept it in check. He was very healthy, he ate healthy, he kept his weight down, and always kept his sugar at a good level,” she revealed in the video, according to CNN. “But with trying to treat Covid andthe pneumonia, the different protocols that are used, including many of the protocols we talked about here on Daystar, and we used those, and I used them and breezed through Covid.”
She added that her husband used protocols that “caused his blood sugar to spike and just a decrease in his oxygen and that’s why he went to the hospital, so he could have oxygen.” According to Joni Lamb, Marcus Lamb’s “heart just gave out.”
NBC News reported that Marcus Lamb, who spoke against vaccines, was 64 years old when he died. According to NBC, Joni Lamb spoke from her husband’s bedside during a broadcast, saying, “With this thing, it’s kind of like riding a roller coaster.”
“It’s like, you’ll just be up and everything’s great, and then you have a little lull, and then you come down low and then you come back up, but from everybody that I talk to — I think that’s the pattern,” she said, adding, “Pray specifically for his lungs to clear the Covid pneumonia and pray for his oxygen levelto continue to be strong and to go up so that we can wean him off of oxygen and bring him home.”
“US Hospitals Getting Paid More to Label Cause of Death as ‘Coronavirus.’” “US: Hospitals Get Paid More to List Patients as COVID-19…” “So, hospitals get an extra $13,000 if they diagnose a death as COVID-19,” a widelysharedmeme on Facebook claimed. “And an additional $39,000 if they use a ventilator!”
“At that time, they were reporting a 25% increase in mortality of patients that were getting intubated and put on a ventilator. And now we know during COVID it was upwards of 80 to 85% of people that were on ventilators passed away.”
Ventilators are “one of the most important life-saving tools we have,” Bishofsky said, but they are also “extremely dangerous” because they typically cause bacterial pneumonia.
There were many Christian leaders who died on oxygen during COVID Plandemic.

ON THE EVE OF THE FUNERAL: Tonight we examine newly uncovered public records and lawsuits involving Daystar Television Network, Marcus Lamb, Gateway Church, and the shocking allegations surrounding a reported $25 million crypto-related loss during Joni Lamb’s presidency. Documents discussed tonight include: • The 2009 Deed of Trust showing a $20,000,000 loan involving Gateway Church and Word of God Fellowship / Daystar Television Network • The Release of Lien personally signed by Marcus Lamb • Lawsuit filings tied to alleged crypto losses connected to FTX/Silvergate • Court records involving Daystar’s aggressive legal and collection activity • Questions surrounding donor stewardship, institutional finance, and transparency • The removal of Joni Lamb’s memorial/funeral donation page after public criticism • Ongoing uncertainty surrounding the future leadership and succession of Daystar This livestream asks difficult but necessary questions: How did a donor-supported Christian television ministry become involved in: multimillion-dollar institutional lending, crypto exposure, commercial business financing, and complex litigation? And who now controls the future of Daystar?
The Bible teaches that sin is a root cause of division, both in relationships with God and among people. When humans sin, they break the harmony established by God, leading to separation, conflict, and strife.
1. Sin Separates from God Isaiah 59:2 says, “Your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.”Sin damages the relationship between humanity and God,making unity with Him impossibleBible Tools.
2. Sin Causes Division Among People In the Old Testament, sin led to major divisions: the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:7–9) and the split of Israel into two kingdoms (1 Kings 12:16–20) due to idolatry and disobedience Bible Hub. In the New Testament, Paul warns in 1 Corinthians 1:10–13 that divisions in the church—such as “I follow Paul” or “I follow Apollos”—are contrary to unity in Christ OpenBible.info.
3. Division as a Consequence of the Flesh Galatians 5:19–21 lists “dissensions, divisions, envy” among the works of the flesh, showing that sinful attitudes directly produce internal conflict GotQuestions.org. Jesus also said in Matthew 10:34–36 that His mission brings a “sword” into families, turning “a man against his father, a daughter against her mother”Bible Hub.
4. Division as a Tool of the Devil The Bible warns that the devil “divides” and seeks to sow strife(1 Peter 5:8; 1 John 3:8). Division is linked to “worldly people, devoid of the Spirit” who follow their own sinful desires OpenBible.info+1.
5. God’s Use of Division for His Purpose While division is often a result of sin, God can also use it to separate the righteous from the unrighteous, as in the parable of the sheep and goats (Matthew 25:31–46) Bible Hub.
6. The Call to Unity Despite these warnings, the Bible repeatedly calls for unity: Ephesians 4:3–6 urges believers to “eagerly maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace,” and John 17:20–23 records Jesus’ prayer for His disciples to be one OpenBible.info+1.
In summary: Sin brings division because it breaks the harmony God designed.Division can be internal (within families, churches, or nations) or external (between people and God). While God may use division for His purposes, the Bible’s consistent message is to resist divisive sin, pursue love and unity, and maintain truth in community.

Why Marcus Lamb Told His Mistress Joni Would Be Dying Soon
Public reports indicate that Marcus Lamb, Joni Lamb’s first husband and co‑founder of Daystar Television Network, told his mistress that Joni would be dying soonbecause of serious, private health issues that had been worsening in the months before her death The Economic Times+1.
According to Daystar’s official statements, Joni had been managing longstanding private medical problems for some time, which she chose not to disclose publicly. These conditions were compounded by a recent back injury that accelerated her decline in the days leading up to her death The Economic Times+1. The network did not name the specific illness, respecting her and her family’s request for privacy. They also never mentioned how or when she “recently” injured her back. Did that happen since Doug Weiss was in her life? Was he with her when she received this “injury”? What was she doing and where was she?
December 2010after allegations surfaced involving an alleged affair between Marcus Lamb and a senior female employee at the network. During a televised appearance alongside Joni Lamb, Marcus acknowledged the affairand claimed multiple individuals had demanded millions to keep the allegations private.
According to reports at the time, Marcus and Joni said three people were pressuring the network to pay $7.5 million to prevent the story from becoming public.
The situation escalated further after former Daystar employee Jeanette Hawkins filed a fraud lawsuit against the network and Marcus Lamb.
The lawsuit alleged Hawkins believed she had joined a Christian workplace before later discovering Marcus had allegedly been involved in a long-running affair with a high-ranking female employee.
Court filings reportedly claimed emails showed the relationship lasted around seven years. The lawsuit further alleged Marcus told the woman in one email that he wanted “to make her the next Mrs. Marcus Lamb.”

Daystar TV co-founder Joni Lamb passed away at the age of 65 after suffering serious health issues
Joni Lamb’s shocking death sparks explosive calls to investigate her second husband
Joni Lamb’s tragic demise has landed her second husband, Doug Weiss, in hot water.
On Thursday, May 7, Religion News Service reported that the Daystar TV co-founder died at the age of 65 after suffering a back injury and some serious health issues.
“Joni’s love for the Lord and for the people we serve shaped this ministry from the beginning. We grieve her loss. We are grateful for the legacy of faith she leaves behind,” the Daystar board of directors said in a statement.
Last month, Doug shared that his broadcaster wife had suffered a back injury and would be off the air for a while.
“Prior to her recent back injury, Lamb had been dealing with serious health matters that she chose to face head-on and in private. The back injury compounded these challenges and led to a more serious medical situation than anyone had anticipated.Despite the dedicated efforts of her medical team and the prayers of so many around the world, her condition worsened in the last days,” Daystar noted in its statement.
After Joni Lamb’s shocking death spread online, fans became suspicion that the broadcaster’s death might not be a simple case of death from health issues and called for investigation into her second husband, Doug Weiss.
“I hope they investigate Doug,” wrote one on Instagram, while another stated, “I pray they do an autopsy. Did Doug anything to harm her would be my big question? I hope not! I feel for Jonathan and Suzie!”
A third expressed, “Something seems off about this.”
“I sure would investigate the new husband,” added a fourth.
Prior to tying the knot with Doug Weiss in 2023, Joni Lamb was married to Marcus Lamb (died in 2021) with whom she shared three children – Jonathan Lamb, Rachel Lamb Brown, and Rebecca Lamb Weiss.
Joni Lamb, founder of Daystar Television Network, dies at age 65 | AP News
Executive summary
Daystar’s public statement said Joni Lamb had been privately facing “serious health matters” and that a recent back injury worsened her condition, but the network did not disclose a formal cause of death[1]. Major news organizations reporting on her death likewise noted that no cause had been released, and claims that she died of bone cancer circulated online without independent verification [2][3][4].
1. Daystar’s account and what it did — and did not — disclose
Daystar Television Network announced Joni Lamb’s death and told viewers she had been managing serious health problems privately and that a back injury “compounded those challenges,”but the organization’s public statement stopped short of naming a medical cause of death[5][1]. News outlets including the Associated Press and Fortune repeated Daystar’s language and explicitly reported that a cause of death was not released, indicating the network’s own statement has been the primary official source of information [1][3].
2. How mainstream outlets framed the missing cause
Multiple mainstream outlets consistently reported that no formal cause had been disclosed:AP, NBC DFW, Fortune, People and others all cited Daystar’s statement and noted a lack of an official medical cause[1][2][3][6]. These outlets relied on Daystar as the organization with direct knowledge and uniformly described the health issues as private, while reporting that the network attributed her decline in part to a recent back injury [2][5].
3. Rumors and a specific bone-cancer claim that circulated online
After the announcement, social posts and at least one Christian streamer claimed Joni Lamb died of bone cancer;Hindustan Times documented that claim and flagged it as unconfirmed, noting the streamer himself acknowledged it was not “100% confirmed”[4]. Multiple outlets covering the aftermath noted such assertions but emphasized that no independent medical confirmation had linked Lamb to bone cancer or other specific conditions[7][8].
4. Independent confirmation — none found in available reporting
A review of the provided reporting finds no independent sources — such as a hospital statement, death certificate, medical examiner’s report, or corroborating reporting from a news organization with access to medical records — that confirm a specific cause of death for Joni Lamb beyond the general health-description from Daystar[1][2][3]. Times Now and other outlets explicitly warned that “no official medical confirmation” had linked Lamb to the conditions observers were speculating about [7].
5. Family dynamics, information gaps, and why independent confirmation matters
Tension within the family and questions about who was notified surfaced in reporting— for example, Entertainment Weekly relayed a daughter‑in‑law’s claim she and others were not informed promptly — underscoring why independent documentation or a formal medical statement would help settle public questions about cause and circumstances [9]. Without such documentation, media outlets have appropriately limited their reporting to Daystar’s statement and to noting unverified online claims[9][4].
6. What can be concluded now and what remains unknown
Based on the sources available, the factual conclusion is clear:no independent source has confirmed a cause of death for Joni Lamb beyond Daystar’s general description of private health struggles worsened by a back injury; specific claims such as bone cancer remain unverified in the reporting reviewed [1][4][7]. If and when a hospital, medical examiner, family representative or formal public record releases additional details, independent confirmation could change this account; until then, responsible coverage treats cause-of-death claims beyond Daystar’s statement as unconfirmed

There is so much CREEPINESS involved in this whole mess from the beginning. Yet, everyone wants to pretend
that these people are Godly, Honorable, Loving Saints!! It is insanity. !
This was the most ludicrous stunt I have ever seen in my life. Shameless. These people are SHAMELESS.
Let’s keep in mind some of the FACTS/TRUTHS that have already been uncovered as this saga unfolds.
Doug and Marcus Lamb knew each other and according to some sources were friends. They, at the bare minimum, had interaction on Daystar TV shows.
Yes — Doug Weiss was indeed a guest on Daystar Television while Marcus Lamb was still alive. As reported by Jonathan Lamb, Marcus had been a frequents guest on Daystar over a period of over a decade, probably more than 20 times. He was fully aware of the Daystar and what it had to offer, he knew about the platform and the operations. He had actually stated on record that he had always wanted a Television Ministry.
Marcus Lamb, co‑founder of Daystar Television Network, died in November 2021 after contracting COVID‑19 Men’s Journal. In the years before his death, Daystar featured a wide range of guests, including Doug Weiss, who was known as a television co‑host, author, and psychologist specializing in sexual addiction Hindustan Times.
Daystar’s own reporting notes that Weiss “had appeared as a guest on Daystar” before marrying Joni JubileeCast.
So, while Marcus Lamb was still alive, Doug Weiss was already part of the Daystar programming as a guest.
As reported by Jonathan lamb Doug Weiss served as a marriage counselor to Marcus Lamb and Joni Lamb during the revelation of Marucus’s affair learning intimate details about them and their marriage and their ministry. This makes it totally unethical for him to marry Joni who had been his patient.
It has been reported that on the night that Marucs died, Joni and Doug spent 19 hours talking on the phone together. Doug Weiss divorced his wife two months after Marcus died.
Doug Weiss kept the information about his divorce hidden from his Marriage Counseling Patients until Joni made the announcement about their engagement. Joni and Doug charged their planned honeymoon on the DAYSTAR account months before their Wedding. Doug Weiss falsified his credentials. He never completed his first PhD and purchased his second from a fraudulent organization. He is not a trained, licensed therapist. Doug Weiss has multiple complaints against him for the abusive practices he used on his female patients. Doug Weiss’s financial situation was desperate. The manner in which he handled his finances was fraudulent. He lied to his wife Lisa, he lied to his patients, he lied to Joni and her family, he lied to the public. HE IS A LIAR.
The surname Lamb has Anglo-Saxon origins, meaning “young sheep,” and is often associated with gentleness or meekness. I will say this, of all the characters in this circus, the only ones who consistently have display
character and yet maintained calm, patient, loving, respectul and honest are Jonathan Lamb and his wife Susie.
God bless them. Their hearts remained open and prayerfully hopeful for resolution and reconciliation. My heart
goes out to them.
The lamb’s spiritual meaning is a blend of purity, sacrifice, gentleness, and hope. It invites you to live with compassion, embrace humility, and recognize the value of selfless giving. Whether in religious context or personal growth, the lamb is a reminder to nurture your inner innocence while contributing to the well-being of others.
Robert Morris and Gateway (a spiritual portal through which all manner of evil passes)
spacer
Let me just say, I was a tithing member of this Church. I learned first hand what it is all about. Not being without sin, I did not throw the first stone. I just got out.
The fallout continues after Robert Morris resigned from Gateway Church over furor following allegations he molested a 12-year-old girl in the 1980s. (The truth came out later that the leadership at Gateway was well aware of his repeated abuse of a child from age 12 to 16. The chose to cover it up.)
Prominent Christian author and retired pastor Rick Warren isn’t mincing words in his condemnation of the reports about Morris. Warren posted to X saying, “I’m angry & disgusted to hear of Robert Morris’ sexual abuse of a child & heartbroken for Cindy Clemishire. To sexually use a 12 yr old child, then continue it for yrs, is not merely an ‘inappropriate relationship.’It’s a crime.Sexual child abuse is an evil punishable by law. One can’t just confess when caught & move on with no consequences.”

@RickWarren
I’m angry & disgusted to hear of Robert Morris’ sexual abuse of a child & heartbroken for Cindy Clemishire. To sexually use a 12 yr old child, then continue it for yrs, is not merely an “inappropriate relationship.” It’s a crime. Sexual child abuse is an evil punishable by law. One can’t just confess when caught & move on with no consequences. For the integrity of Christ’s Body, God insists “Expel the wicked person out of your church!” 1 Cor. 5:13 Perpetrators are to be publicly fired, not allowed to resign. Child abuse STILL enrages Jesus: “If anyone offends one of these little ones, it would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and drowned in the sea. “ Matt.18:6. Until the Church realizes the soul-destroying trauma of sexual abuse, the pattern will continue. Kay still remembers the horror of being molested in church as a little girl. Prov. 31:8
Daystar Television Network announced this week that it had removed all of Morris’ programming from its network, with Gateway Church elders separately launching an investigation into the claims against their former leader.
“We are deeply grieved and saddened by the recent and very serious allegations against Pastor Robert Morris involving the sexual abuse of a 12-year-old minor,” Daystar said in a statement. “In light of these events and a recently released statement by Gateway’s Elders, Daystar’s leadership has made the decision to remove all of Pastor Robert Morris’ programming from our broadcasting schedule.”
How hypocritical that Daystar claims to condemn Robert Morris’ Sexual Abuse of a child and remove his programs from their schedule, yet Joni Lamb herself dismissed the fact that her son in law, Joshua Brown Sexually Abused her granddaughter. Joni elected to not only cover it up ut to give Joshua Brown an executive position at Daystar, and he now regularly appears on their programs alongside his wife.
As CBN News previously reported, Morris, 62, who resigned from Gateway on Tuesday, offered an initial statement on the allegations against him in which he again used the term “young lady.”
In that statement to The Christian Post, Morris described what he said was “inappropriate sexual behavior with a young lady” in a home he stayed in during his 20s.“It was kissing and petting and not intercourse, but it was wrong,” he said.
The preacher went on to state that the behavior happened on “several occasions” over a number of years.Morris said the situation was “brought to light” in 1987. He said he confessed, repented, sought counseling, and returned to ministry two years later with the support of the victim’s father.
For the record, the accuser, Cindy Clemishire — now 54 — has denied the latter claim.
“I submitted myself to the Elders of Shady Grove Church and the young lady’s father,” Morris said. “They asked me to step out of ministry and receive counseling and freedom ministry, which I did. Since that time, I have walked in purity and accountability in this area.”
This statement ignited a further firestorm after Clemishire and others pushed back on the language used and as additional details about the allegations against Morris were revealed.
Elders at Gateway initially issued a statement addressing the claims made against Morris, pointedly referring to the preacher’s “moral failure.”
“Pastor Robert has been open and forthright about a moral failure he had over 35 years ago when he was in his twenties and prior to him starting Gateway Church,” the elders’ first statement read. “He has shared publicly from the pulpit the proper Biblical steps he took in his lengthy restoration process.” What “lengthy” restoration process? TWO YEARS away from the pulpit??
The elders said the matter had been disclosed to church leaders.
However, after Morris resigned, the church said in a second statement that it did not previously know the scope or details of the allegations against the preacher.
“The elders’ prior understanding was that Morris’s extramarital relationship, which he had discussed many times throughout his ministry, was with ‘a young lady’ and not [the] abuse of a 12-year-old child,” it read. “We are heartbroken and appalled by what has come to light over the past few days, and we express our deep sympathy to the victim and her family.” So, Robert Morris was a married man at the time of the pedophile acts.
Clemishire has again disputed these claims, stating that she emailed Robert Morris’ Gateway email address in 2005 and delivered details about the alleged crimes.
“Former Gateway elder, Tom Lane, received and responded to my email, acknowledging that the sexual abuse began on December 25, 1982, when I was 12 years old,” she said in a statement through attorney Boz Tchividjian, grandson of the late evangelist Billy Graham.
Clemishire continued, “Again in 2007, my then attorney Gentner Drummond (the current Attorney General of Oklahoma) sent a letter to Robert Morris with the hope that he would help reimburse me for the thousands of dollars I had expended in counseling as a result of this abuse. His attorney acknowledged the dates as well and then attempted to blame me for the abuse.”
Joni Lamb’s funeral, being held at Gateway Church, has sparked intense discussion due to the church’s association with founder Robert Morris, who has faced allegations of sexually assaulting a minor.
Beloved Daystar co-founder and president Joni Lamb’s funeral arrangements have sparked backlash online after her memorial venue was revealed to be Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas, the megachurch that’s generally avoided following its founder’s arrest. The church’s founder and former pastor, Robert Morris, has been registered as a lifetime sex offender after being found guilty of assaulting a minor.
Some reports have also claimed that Joni Lamb was allegedly preparing to expose the disgraced pastor, with speculation suggesting she had known about Robert Morris’ alleged crimes long before they became public. (So she preferred to be party to the coverup of Morris’ crime and wait for someone else to report it. Protecting the Pedofile? Or, avoiding bad PR?)And now, seeing her memorial being held at the very church immediately triggered a reaction on social media.
Joni Lamb’s memorial venue sparks controversy
Lamb died at the age of 65, for reasonsthat have not been officially disclosed.Daystar previously shared that she had been dealing with health complications following a serious back injury. Shortly after her passing, the Christian television network announced plans for a public memorial service. In a new social media statement, Daystar wrote:
“Thank you for the outpouring of love, prayer, and memories you’ve shared with us since Joni’s passing… Please join us to honor Joni Lamb at a special memorial service open to the public on Monday, May 18th at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas.” (Apparently not open to the public. There was a list of people who were NOT PERMITTED to attend, including her son and daughter-in-law. And online news reporters.)
However, the post immediately triggered controversy after ministry commentator Joshua Simone publicly questioned why Gateway Church had been selected as the venue. Citing Morris’ ongoing criminal case,Simone openly criticised the decision and wrote on X (formerly Twitter):
“Who thought it was a good idea to hold Joni Lamb’s memorial service at Gateway Church? Gateway Church was once America’s largest megachurch, but its attendance was cut in half after its founder, Pastor Robert Morris, sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl. Why didn’t they choose another church?“
The post has since gained traction online, with users holding different opinions about the venue choice. Some defend the decision on the basis of its capacity, while others note that Lamb’s daughter, Rachel, is allegedly a regular at the church. At the same time, the post has sparked curiosity about the disgraced pastor and the exact nature of his crimes. Here’s all you need to know about Robert Morris and where the case stands now.
Who is Robert Morris?
Robert Preston Morris, 64, (64, that means he got away with it for over 20 years, while that pour little girls suffered.)is the founder and former senior pastor of Gateway Church, one of the largest megachurches in the US.He founded the church in Texas in 2000, growing it into a huge evangelical organisation with national political and religious clout. (all based on a lie and heinous sin. Surely, that entire Network is spiritualy effected.)For years, the pastor remained closely tied to the nation’s conservative political circles, even serving on President Donald Trump’s evangelical advisory board.(Any true Christian who has seen some of the other spiritual advisors on that board should not be surprised to find him among them.) In 2020, the church even hosted a public discussion for Trump.
In June 2024, Morris resigned from his position as the church’s pastor after being found guilty of sexually abusing a woman in Oklahoma in the 1980s. (she was not a woman, she was a child, every time he sexually abused her “over a period of years” from age 12 to age 16)His decades-long reputation collapsed after the victim, identified as Cindy Clemishire, publicly accused him of sexually abusing her over several years, beginning when she was just 12 years old. According to court filings, Morris was 22 at the time the abuse allegedly began.
What were Robert Morris’ charges in the sexual assault case?
In October 2025, Robert Morris pleaded guilty to multiple counts of lewd or indecent acts involving a childas part of a plea agreement in Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Attorney General, Gentner Drummond, stated that the abuse continued for nearly four years, beginning in 1982,when the victim was 12, and Morris was staying with her family in Hominy, Oklahoma, as a travelling evangelist.
He came into their home as a guest, in the NAME OF THE LORD, and as an ambassador for the BODY OF CHRIST. He violated her trust, her families trust and the trust of the church he was sent to as a minister. He committed a heinous crime on the person of Cindy Clemishire for which she suffered years of torment and damage to her mental and emotion being. Not to mention the financial cost and burden on her and her family. MY HEAVENS where is JUSTICE when a man steals a loaf of bread or a mother steals medication her baby desperately needs and they get more jail time than this pervert. Yes, I know about forgiveness… but he did not come out on his own and show himself to police. He did not even tell the truth when he was fully exposed. HE LIED!
The court found Morris guilty of five counts of acts with a minor that are considered lewd or indecent under Oklahoma law. While the charges could have initially carried a penalty of up to 20 years in prison, Morris was later given six months of jail time in Osage County Jail and was ordered to register as a sex offender. The Oklahoma grand jury’s plea agreement also gave him a 10-year suspended sentence.
The disgraced pastor is now out of jail, being released on March 31, 2026, and is serving the remainder of his sentence at his residence in Palo Pinto County, Texas. He cannot consume alcohol, carry firearms, or associate with other convicted felons during this time. He was also ordered to pay USD 270,000 in restitution to his victim.
Just days ago, reports revealed that Gateway and Morris had settled an ongoing legal battle regarding the disgraced pastor’s multimillion-dollar retirement payout.Court documents previously alleged Morris sought significant financial compensation from the church even after resigning amid the abuse allegations. At the same time, he still faces additional civil lawsuits tied to the abuse accusations and alleged cover-up claims involving church leadership.
Did Joni Lamb really plan to expose Robert Morris?
One of the commentators on Joshua Simone’s X post mentioned that Joni Lamb “actually knew about Robert Morris’ crimes before they were made public”, and that she “was going to expose him very soon.” However, this turns out to be an unverified report, and there is currently no public evidencesuggesting that Joni Lamb had plans to expose the disgraced pastor. In fact, Daystar Television Network only removed Morris’ programming in June 2024, after Cindy Clemishire publicly accused the former Gateway Church pastor of sexually abusing her when she was 12 years old.
With Robert Morris still facing additional civil lawsuits tied to the abuse accusations and alleged cover-up claims, the Lamb family’s association with the church has raised eyebrows.
As of 2024, Gateway Church has 10 satellite campuses across three statesYahoo. These locations are in addition to its main campus in Southlake, Texas, and represent the church’s multi-site expansion since its founding in 2000.
The church’s growth has been significant, with attendance reaching over 25,000 weekly visitors in 2023 and being ranked among the largest megachurches in the U.S.Wikipedia. While the exact number of “daughter churches” or independent congregations that have split off from Gateway is not publicly specified, the 10 satellite campuses indicate a substantial network of affiliated locations.
If you are looking for the total number of independent congregations that have been “birthed” from Gateway, that figure is not explicitly stated in the available sources. The 10 satellite campuses are part of Gateway’s own organizational structure, but some may have originated as independent plants before joining the Gateway network. For the most accurate count of completely independent churches that once belonged to Gateway, you would need to consult Gateway’s own historical records or ministry reports.
Over the past 12 years, Gateway Church Founding Pastor Robert Morris has bought and sold multiple, multi-million-dollar properties in Texas. (TRR graphic)
When now-disgraced megachurch pastor Robert Morris urged his congregants to tithe, he claimed he didn’t “need funds” but simply was grieved that non-tithers were missing “the blessing of God” and becoming vulnerable to Satan.
Morris’ former residence in Westlake, Texas. valued at nearly $4 million. (Screengrab)
However, The Roys Report (TRR) has uncovered details about Morris’ wealth, calling into question whether the famous preacher’s emphasis on tithing—giving 10% to the church—was purely altruistic.
Though it’s not publicly known how much Morris is worth today, TRR was able to confirm that over the past 12 years, Morris has bought and sold multiple, multi-million-dollar properties in Texas.
These include a 370-acre ranch in Jacksboro, worth at least $8 million; a nearly $8 million custom home in Colleyville; a $1.7 million home on a peninsula in Possum Kingdom Lake, which is about 80 miles west of Fort Worth; and a nearly $4 million home in Westlake,—a Dallas suburb named the most affluent community in the country by Forbes Magazine in 2011.
How Morris acquired this vast wealth is uncertain. TRR asked Gateway to reveal Morris’s salary over the past decade, but the church refused to comment.
And despite claiming to have independent audits for the past 19 years, Gateway has not released any audits to the public. When TRR asked for the audits, Gateway responded,“(T)he details that were shared in theelders’ addressfrom this past weekend are all that we’re sharing at this time.”
In a Nov. 2 address, Gateway Elder Tra Willbanks claimed that independent audits show that Gateway gave 19% of its revenue to global missions.
This contradicts the testimony of Allen Shoulders, a seasoned CPA and former Gateway Pastor of Global Ministries. Shoulders claimed that during his tenure, Gateway never spent more than $3 million on global missions, despite having annual revenue exceeding $100 million, as TRR exclusively reported.
Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas. (Photo: social media)
Shoulders also told TRR that he discovered about $1.5 million of unexplained transfers out of Gateway’s global missions fund, but when he pressed for answers, Morris asked for his resignation.
Morris also is a best-selling author and may have obtained some of his wealth through book sales.
He also heads the Robert Morris Evangelistic Association, which according to its 2022 IRS 990 filing, paid Morris a $200,000 salary for 15 hours of work a week. The previous year, the nonprofit paid Morris $100,000 for the same amount of work. But in 2019, it paid Morris $300,000, and in 2018, the ministry paid Morris $350,000.
TRR has unsuccessfully tried to contact Morris for comment about his homes and these large amounts of money for minimal work hours.
Morris’ $8 million ranch
Robert Morris’ largest property is a 370-acre ranch in Jacksboro, about an hour northwest of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
The property has a “confidential owner,” which means the owner is in a protected class—normally reserved for police, judges, or victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking.
Morris owns a 370-acre ranch in Jacksboro, Texas, worth an estimated $10 million. (Screengrab / Google Earth)
However, TRR was able to obtain warranty deeds for the property, which name Robert Morris, and his wife, Debbie Morris, as the “grantees.”One of the deeds, dated Sept. 13, 2013, is for 130.66 acres of land in Jack County. The other, dated Dec. 19, 2012, is for 240 acres in Jack County.
According to LandSearch.com, the average cost per acre of land in Jacksboro is $8,915. However, the 370 acres Morris owns is not average. It includes at least five lakes and Indian Hills, a mountain whosesummit at 1,299 feetis one of the highest in Jack County.
TRR spoke with David Garin, who owns a ranch within 10 miles of Morris’ ranch. He said unimproved land in the area is worth $10,000 per acre.He also noted that Morris’ property has a perimeter fence similar to the fence Garin has on his property.Garin said the fence alone is worth $1 million.
Using Garin’s estimates, Morris’ property would be worth at least $4.7 million for the land and fence alone.
However, the ranch also includes a home with a more than 4,400-square-foot footprint and an in-ground pool.According to Garin, comparable homes in the area are worth about $700 per square foot. This would put the value of Morris’ home around $3.1 million, bringing the value of the land and house to $7.8 million.
Google Earth also shows several other improvements on the property, such as a barn and boat docks.
So, the ranch is likely worth at least $8 million, but may be worth considerably more, depending on the finishes in the home and actual value of the other improvements.
Morris constructs mansion in Colleyville
In 2017, Morris bought two lots in Colleyville, Texas, in a very exclusive area near other Christian celebrities, including TBN’s Matt and Laurie Crouch and the late Marcus Lamb and his wife, Joni Lamb, owner of Daystar TV.
One of the lots Morris bought held a million-dollar, 4,500-square-foot home, and the other was vacant.By 2019, Morris had constructed a multi-million-dollar custom four-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion with the “highest level designer finishes” on the vacant lot.
A YouTuber called “A Messenger,” who exposes “ministries/churches feeding on their sheep,”was able to get access to mansion before it was occupied and posted video of it online.
Pastor Robert Morris of Gateway My New Mansion in Colleyville
Pictures posted on Instagram by Debbie Morris show the couple held a reunion in the home in 2021 with former leaders of Shady Grove Church. Is that the same Shady Grove church where the father of his abuse victim was pastor?? Morris bought the Colleyville property through First Trust Holdings Revocable Living Trust, likely to obscure that he owned the property.
However, First Trust Holdings lists its address on the warranty deed for the Colleyville property as PO Box 93628, Southlake, Texas—the same address as the Robert Morris Evangelistic Association.
Robert Morris Evangelistic Association, Inc. Overview
Robert Morris Evangelistic Association, Inc. filed as a Domestic Nonprofit Corporation in the State of Texas on Thursday, August 20, 1981 and is approximately forty-five years old, according to public records filed with Texas Secretary of State.Sponsored
Gateway Church, Gateway Publishing, Gateway Music, Pastor Robert Morris Ministries, and the Robert Morris Evangelistic Association—all these entities seem to be interconnected, but there is little financial and organizational transparency made available to the public.

Plus, when Morris sold the home in 2022, the warranty deed for the sale names Robert and Deborah Morris as the “Grantor” of the property.
House sales in Texas are not publicly disclosed, so the sale price of the Colleyville property is unknown. However, a current listing for the property estimates it is worth $7.85 million.
Morris buys home in exclusive Westlake Community
The same year Morris sold the Colleyville home, he bought a mansion in Westlake’s exclusive Vaquero community, near another millionaire pastor, Ed Young.Young, who’s Fellowship Church is in nearby Grapevine, lives in an 8,100 square-foot home less than 550 feet from the home Morris bought.
Morris’ home boasted 6,000 square feet of living spaceand was just a mile from the members-only Vaquero Golf Club. The mansion featured four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a formal dining room with a wine room, a private executive study, and a large primary suite with pool access.Redfin estimates the home to be worth $3.5 million.
The home’s “backyard oasis” included a pool, spa, pergola, and covered living area with a fireplace and grill.
Occult, Esoteric, and Pagan Symbolism of a Pergola
In esoteric and pagan traditions, a pergola — an open arched structure with a roof of interlacing beams — can carry layered meanings that blend architectural form with symbolic intent. (Arches are PORTALS linking the material world with the spiritual realm)
Architectural and Pagan Symbolism In pagan and folk traditions, pergolas often evoke openness, shelter, and connection to the natural world. The arched roof and open lattice resemble natural arches, vines, and trellises, which in many ancient cultures symbolize growth, fertility, and the intertwining of life forcesFiveable. The open spaces can be seen as thresholds — places where the earthly and the divine meet, or where the mundane and the sacred intersect. This aligns with pagan concepts of seasonal cycles, celestial alignment, and the balance between enclosed and open realms.
Occult and Esoteric Interpretations From an occult perspective, the pergola’s interlacing beams can be read as a symbol of cosmic entanglement — much like the Ouroboros (the serpent eating its own tail),representing the cyclical nature of existence, the unity of opposites, and the self-sustaining loop of creationWikiHow+1. The open lattice may also evoke solar and lunar imagery, with the beams acting as a kind of celestial map or solar cross, aligning with pagan solar symbolism for masculine energy and enlightenment Fiveable.
Ritual and Protective Use In some esoteric and pagan practices, pergolas are used as ritual spaces— open but protected, allowing light and air to flow while creating a sacred boundary. This mirrors the use of magic circles in ceremonial magic, where the structure defines a sacred The Mystica. The open design can also serve as a protective lattice, filtering light and air to create a microclimate, much like ancient solar crosses or shielding arches used in protective magic.
Modern Esoteric Use In contemporary pagan and occult settings, a pergola may be adorned with pagan symbols (such as the ankh, pentagram, or solar cross) to reinforce its spiritual function. It can serve as a ritual garden space, a solar altar, or a meditation area where the open structure invites both physical and spiritual openness.
In essence, the pergola in occult and pagan symbolism is more than a garden feature — it is a visual and spatial metaphor for balance, growth, protection, and the sacred interplay between the natural and the mystical.

Upstairs, the house had two large bedroom suites, a game area and a “spacious media room.”
Like the Colleyville property, Morris bought the home through a trust, according to a 2022 warranty deed.TRR was able to confirm Morris lived in the Westlake home by finding another public document tying the address of the home to Morris.
In July 2024, about a month after Morris resigned in disgrace from Gateway Church,Morris sold the Westlake home. Details of the sale are not publicly available.
Morris’ $1.7 million lake home
The final home owned by Morris that TRR found is a house on a peninsula in Possum Kingdom Lake with an estimated value of $1.7 million.
According to a warranty deed obtained by TRR, Robert and Debbie Morris bought the home on March 5, 2021.
A listing for the home claims it may have the “best views” on Possum Kingdom Lake. The lot is “very private, heavily wooded”and includes a “very lengthy deep water depth lakefront,” the listing states.
The home also comes with a two-story dock. The lower level has lifts for two boats and the upper level has a deck overlooking the lake.
The house itself, which was built in 1965, includes four bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms.
Debbie Morris’ Instagram includes numerous pictures of the Morris family enjoying boating on the lake.
Whether Morris will be able to keep the lake house and his expansive ranch without his Gateway salary remains to be seen.
In his address to the Gateway congregation Nov. 2, Elder Tra Willbanks noted that the church has received “financial demands” from Morris, which Gateway is rejecting.

Parsonages are often thought to be modest homes that allow pastors to survive on a meager salary. However, in today’s multi-million-dollar budget, megachurch age, a parsonage can be a $7 million mansion stretched across 35 acres—and all of it tax-free!
Some of these homes are owned by the pastor’s church or ministry, which means the homes are tax-exempt. Others are owned by individual pastors, meaning they are not tax-exempt,though likely funded—at least in part—by tax-deductible donations. As we have seen some of these Televangelists/Pastors owned multiple mansions and other properties.
An embattled celebrity pastor is facing even more allegations that he sexually assaulted men as he accuses one of his alleged victims of trying to defame him.
TD Jakes, 67, the senior pastor of Dallas megachurch The Potter’s House, filed a defamation lawsuit against Duane Youngblood, 58, for claiming on a podcast last year that the megachurch leader tried to corner him and involuntary kiss him more than 40 years ago.
But now others, including Youngblood’s brother Richard, are coming forward with their own allegations that Jakes sexually assaulted them as Youngblood seeks to get the suit dismissed.
Among those who filed affidavits in support of Youngblood are Timothy Anderson, 57, of Florida.
He claims that he shared a room with Youngblood when they both attended a conference Jakes was hosting in 1996.
Anderson said Jakes had just asked him to move to Dallas to serve as a youth pastor, and he shared that request with Youngblood – whom he knew through the Higher Ground Always Abounding Organization, where he served as a youth evangelist for about four years.
But during the conference, Youngblood warned him to be careful of unwanted advances from Jakes as he shared what he allegedly experienced, according to the affidavit obtained by the Christian Post.
Still, Anderson said the chance to work for Jakes felt like the opportunity of a lifetimeand he launched at the opportunity, even though he would make one-third of the salary he was netting as an evangelist.
He explained that Jakes also promised he would be able to supplement his income by taking on assignments outside of his youth pastor duties.
‘I arrived in Dallas, eager to work alongside Bishop Jakes and excited about the future,’ Anderson said in the affidavit.
‘However, my first encounter with him in his new mansion, when I was tasked with assembling furniture, set the tone for a new kind of discomfort.
‘While I had hoped to discuss ministry with him, to learn from him as a mentor, something unexpected happened. At one point, he went into the bathroom and when he returned, passed by me naked,‘ Anderson claimed.
‘I was stunned. I turned away, trying to downplay the situation in my mind. This was Bishop Jakes after all – this opportunity was a dream come true, or at least, that’s what I kept telling myself.
‘I didn’t want to make things awkward. I didn’t want to be seen as homophobic or judgmental. I told myself that I couldn’t let a single uncomfortable moment ruin this chance to learn from one of the greatest preachers of my generation.’
But more and more uncomfortable situations arose, until one day Jakes tried to kiss him, Anderson alleged.
He recounted how he was offered an opportunity in Japan, but Jakes allegedly told him he couldn’t go because it would interfere with his duties at The Potter’s House.
He filed a defamation lawsuit against Duane Youngblood, 58, for claiming on a podcast last year that the megachurch leader tried to corner him and involuntary kiss him more than 40 years ago
Anderson said that when he reminded the bishop that he agreed to let him supplement his income with other preaching assignments, Jakes made it clear he needed to choose between working as a youth pastor or going back to being an evangelist.
The choice was so overwhelming, Anderson said he began to cry.
‘I knew from my past experiences – experiences that have caused so much pain – that this wasn’t just a decision about ministry or a job. It was about power, control and manipulation,’he wrote in the affidavit.
‘The more I thought about it, the more I broke down emotionally.
‘I paced his office trying to make sense of everything, trying to breathe through the overwhelming sadness. As I walked back and forth trying to process what was happening, Bishop Jakes stood up, grabbed a box of tissues and walked toward me.
‘His words were cold, calculated: “It sounds like you have a decision to make.”
‘And then, in a move that left me paralyzed with confusion, he grabbed me and tried to kiss me,‘ he alleged.
‘My mind was racing.
‘Emotionally distraught, I pushed him away and tried to regain some control over my emotions.‘
But Anderson said he continued to cry, hoping that Jakes would show him compassion – something he says never came.
‘The tissues were placed in front of me like a symbol of my brokenness and I told him how much I loved him, how difficult this decision was for me. I was trying to hold onto whatever shred of dignity I had left.
‘But his response was chilling. He reminded me again that it was his ministry, his leadership and that if he gave me what I wanted – my chance to go to Japan – then I wouldn’t understand the principles of authority.’
Two weeks later, though, Anderson said he made the ‘difficult decision to return to evangelism.’
Dustin Pusch, an attorney representing Jakes, denied the claims as he branded Anderson a ‘unreliable ally’ of the Youngbloods.
‘In a desperate attempt to avoid accountability for his knowingly false accusations and to distract from his reprehensible conduct, Mr. Youngblood has enlisted felons, family members and other completely unreliable allies to lob yet more false accusations at Mr. Jakes,‘ he said in a statement to the Dallas Morning News.
Duane’s brother, Richard, had also claimed that Jakes sexually assaulted him once when they were sharing a hotel room.
‘[Jakes] secured a room with two beds in it, and we went to the room for the night. That night, while I was laying in my bed, I felt Elder Jakes climb into my bed,’ Richard alleged.
‘He pressed his body against mine and asked, ‘Youngblood, do you feel that?’ He was referencing his erection that he was pressing against my backside.
‘I got up out of bed in complete shock as he also [got] up from the opposite side and met me.He grabbed me by my arms and pulled me to him and started trying to kiss me. At this point, I cannot believe what is happening to me.’
Both men are now supporting Duane Youngblood against Jakes’ claims that he defamed the pastor when he spoke out in an October podcast interview with Larry Reid that Jakes assaulted him when he was 18 or 19 years old.
He claimed that the attack came after he had been speaking with Jakes for around two hours at the home of an elderly female clergywoman, when Jakes then tried to kiss him.
Jakes said the allegations have caused his wife of 43 years pain
The next morning, Youngblood claimed Jakes called his home and, while ‘sitting in a bathtub’, intimated that he wanted a relationship.
‘He says to me, without any hesitation, “there’s three things I need you to do. The first one is, when I come to Pittsburgh, you’re going to be the only person I sleep with,”‘ Youngblood claimed to Reid.
‘The second one is, you can’t sleep with anybody else because I don’t want to give my wife anything. And thirdly, I will take care of you the rest of your life.”
‘I got up out of bed in complete shock as he also [got] up from the opposite side and met me. He grabbed me by my arms and pulled me to him and started trying to kiss me. At this point, I cannot believe what is happening to me.’
Jakes denied the initial allegations that gave rise to his defamation claim and those of the brothers.
He branded their claims a ‘campaign of lies’ and said the brothers were trying to extort $6 million from him, and insisted he has never ‘harbored carnal desires for these men.’
‘The pain it has caused my wife of 43 years and my five children, whom I have always loved, nurtured, and provided for, is simply too much to bear,’ the bishop claimed.
‘Every person has a breaking point. I have reached mine. I authorized this lawsuit because I can no longer remain silent.’
Jakes, seen with radio host Charlamagne Tha God, said in an affidavit that he ‘never tried to corner, grab, or kiss any teenagers’
Jakes, seen with radio host Charlamagne Tha God, said in an affidavit that he ‘never tried to corner, grab, or kiss any teenagers’
The pastor had also claimed that Richard is just seeking revenge for not supporting his younger brother when he was being prosecuted for sex crimes – an allegation Richard denies.
‘I never wavered in my account of the incident in the EconoLodge in Westover, WV’ he claims.
‘The fact that I shared what happened with a church elder immediately after the incident… shows that I was not fabricating this decades later for personal gain.
‘If my intentions were deceitful, why would I have confided in others at that time.’
After all those troubles hitting Diddy, it’s like a chain reaction affecting everyone around him. It feels like Diddy’s carrying around a bag of negativity, and guess who’s the latest to catch some drama? TD Jakes, the super respected man of God. Can you believe it? While we can kind of understand why Diddy has shady rumors in the music industry, dragging someone like TD Jakes into it is a whole new level. Now, let’s talk about TD Jakes, the big-name pastor who’s been blowing up online since December 24th, 2023. Why? Well, there’s this TikTok user making wild claims about him. Apparently, R&B singer Cassie Ventura spilled some tea to the FBI, accusing Diddy of serious stuff a month after filing against him for some pretty awful acts during their decade-long relationship. After settling her issues with Diddy, Cassie supposedly handed more evidence to the FBI, including tapes from Diddy’s wild parties and even Kim Porter’s secret phone.
Rapper Richard Brandon Coleman is the convicted ex-husband of TD Jakes’ daughter, Cora Jakes.
An attorney facing financial sanction for fabricated citations in his legal filings related to Pastor T.D. Jakes’ defamation lawsuit now claims to represent the convicted ex-husband of Jakes’ eldest daughter, Cora Jakes, and other unnamed males who he says have credible allegations against the Potter’s House founder of grooming, sexual assault, sexting, and transporting them across state lines.
Richard Brandon Coleman, 36,also known by his stage name SkiiVentura, isserving timein a Texas prison for aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child.Cora Jakes, announced her divorce from him in January 2022, shortly before his crimes became public after a decade of marriage and two adopted children, Amauri and Jason.
Blackburn, who says he is now representing Coleman, made his latest claim in a filing in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania last Friday. It is part of an ongoing defamation lawsuit Jakes launched against former pastor Duane Youngblood and 10 John Does in November 2024.
While Blackburn is no longer serving as attorney for Youngblood, who claims he was sexually assaulted by Jakes decades ago as a teenager, his previous work on the case could face possible sanctions because he submitted fabricated quotations and misleading analysis of case law in his defense of Youngblood.
Jakes’ high powered attorneys— Dustin A. Pusch of Meier Watkins Phillips Pusch LLP, in Washington, D.C.; Devin J. Chwastyk of McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC in Pennsylvania; and Derrelle M. Janey of The Janey Law Firm P.C. in New York City — have asked U.S. District Judge William S. Stickman to award them some $71,400.63 in reasonable attorneys’ fees for the work they had to do in responding to Blackburn’s filings.
Bishop T.D. Jakes announces at a Sunday service on April 27, 2025, that he is handing over the reins of The Potter’s House megachurch in Dallas, Texas, to his daughter, Sarah Jakes Roberts, and son-in-law Touré Roberts.
In a sur-reply arguing against the awarding of the proposed attorneys’ fees, Blackburn contends that Pusch and his colleagues are engaging in “retaliatory abuse of the disciplinary system,”because of their awareness of a pending civil lawsuit he plans to file on behalf of Coleman and other unnamed alleged male victims, naming Jakes and his daughter, Cora.
Cora Jakes (R), the eldest daughter of megachurch Pastor T.D. Jakes and her ex-husband, rapper Richard Brandon Coleman (L).
“Plaintiff’s counsel now appends to his sur-reply motion an email in which I asked whether he would waive service in a forthcoming civil suit involving Plaintiff and his daughter, Cora Jakes. That email — entirely appropriate in substance and tone — is now being mischaracterized and taken out of context to falsely imply impropriety on my part,” Blackburn said.
“Cora Jakes, like her father, has been publicly accused of abusing children.Their Church was a haven for immigrant children, yet the parents of several of these kids were deported. The children have been left behind, and upon information and belief, many of them are now missing,” he further alleged.
“Cora Jakes, in particular, has been accused of manipulating a vulnerable friend who trusted her into giving Cora Jakes custody of their childand engaging in other forms of physical abuse of her adopted daughter. My inquiry regarding the waiver of service was fully within the bounds of professional correspondence.”
Blackburn did not respond to a request for comment on the filing from The Christian Post on Monday.
Shortly after her ex-husband’s arrest was made public in 2022, Michelle Loud, a Texas hairstylist, identified herself in a tearful video as the biological mother of Cora Jakes’ adopted son, Jason. In the video that is no longer available online, Loud expressed concern for the safety of her son and accused Cora Jakes and her ex-husband of manipulating her into giving up her son while she was in a vulnerable state.
“She (Cora) played on my vulnerability,” Loud alleged. “She had me in front of a f— MacBook recording and asking me questions, talking about it was ‘counseling’ but it wasn’t counseling because later on down the line, a few years later, she would then use that evidence against me in court when I went to fight for my son.”
Blackburn argued that Bishop Jakes was ill-advised by Pusch to file his defamation lawsuit in an effort to stop the pending class-action lawsuit.
“From the inception of this lawsuit, I informed Mr. Pusch that I am planning to file a class action lawsuit for several male sexual assault survivors against Plaintiff TD Jakes. Dustin Pusch created Mr. Jake’s [sic] present reality by foolishly filing this suit against Mr. Youngblood in hopes of bullying him into signing away his right to speak publicly of the childhood trauma visited upon him by TD Jakes,” Blackburn wrote.
“Unfortunately, Plaintiff Jakes failed to anticipate the avalanche of survivors who would come forward with evidence of Plaintiff grooming, sexually assaulting, sexting, and transporting them across state lines in violation of the MANN Act. One of the accusers is now Mr. Jake’s [sic] former son-in-law, Richard Brandon Coleman.”
“The only time Mr. Blackburn threatened anything that could be construed as a possible class action lawsuit was back in December, when he baldly claimed he was preparing some sort of lawsuit against Bishop Jakes (which of course never materialized),” Pusch noted to CP in an emailed statement.
“In his most recent threat, he simply said he represents Richard Brandon Coleman… and no one else and has only threatened a lawsuit on Mr. Coleman’s behalf. If he is currently planning some sort of class action suit, he has not informed us,” he added.
“As it stands, Bishop Jakes and his legal team are focusing on the only existing lawsuit, the one Bishop Jakes brought against Duane Youngblood, which followed a letter Mr. Blackburn sent to Bishop Jakes demanding $6 million and threatened litigation — a letter which Mr. Youngblood now claims he did not know about or authorize.”
In his filing on Friday, Blackburn stated that neither Jakes nor Pusch will deter him or his clients.
“Dustin Pusch and TD Jakes know that they could never intimidate me from representing Mr. Coleman and the other men who have valid claims against Mr. Jakes. Even if Mr. Pusch were able to hinder my law license (which he cannot), I will continue to pursue Plaintiff Jakes, even if all I have is a bullhorn in front of the US Department of Justice,” he wrote.
“Even if there is no financial recovery in my forthcoming litigations against Mr. Jakes, I do not care, so long as my clients have their day in Court, can file their criminal complaints, and their claims are investigated by law enforcement.I will get justice for my clients.”

T.D. Jakes Real Estate Ventures, LLC. (TDJ REV) aims to make housing more attainable for the Black community.
1998 TD Jakes Urban Renewal Project and U.S. Funding
In 1998, the TD Jakes Urban Renewal Project received U.S. federal funding through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)as part of the national urban renewal framework. This program, active from the 1949 Housing Act through the 1970s, provided grants and loans to municipalities to revitalize blighted areas, often involving demolition and reconstruction inclusivehistorian.pressbooks.sunycreate.cloud+1.
Context of the Funding
The HUD urban renewal program was designed to:
Clear slums and blighted areas to improve housing conditions.
Stimulate economic growth by attracting new businesses and industries.
Federal support typically covered two-thirds to three-quarters of the cost, with cities paying the remainder from state funds or capital project creditsinclusivehistorian.pressbooks.sunycreate.cloud. Projects were often led locally, but the federal government underwrote much of the site acquisition and clearance.
Likely Goals of the TD Jakes Project
While specific details of the 1998 TD Jakes project are not in the provided sources, such funding would have been used to:
Rebuild or redevelop deteriorated neighborhoods.
Improve public infrastructure (roads, utilities, parks).
Create new housing or community facilities.
Attract investment to revitalize the area.
Historical and Social Implications
Urban renewal projects of this era were controversial.Critics noted that many displaced low-income residents, especially African American and Latinx families, without adequate relocation assistance www.clime.rutgers.edu. The process often led to:
Loss of historic structures.
Demographic shiftsas communities were replaced by commercial or middle-income housing.
The 1998 TD Jakes Urban Renewal Project’s U.S. funding reflects the continuation of HUD’s urban renewal legacy, aiming to modernize and revitalize a blighted area with federal support. While it likely brought infrastructure improvements and economic opportunities, it also carried the historical risks associated with mid-century urban renewal—displacement, loss of community, and changes in neighborhood character. spacer
DALLAS—December 12, 2023 – T.D. Jakes Real Estate Ventures, LLC (TDJREV), a real estate company leading the creation of healthy and sustainable communities in a global marketplace, today announced a partnership with New Urban Development, Miami’s largest Black-owned real estate developer, to build two affordable housing developments in Hallandale Beach, Fla., and Miami Gardens, Fla. The strategic partnership signifies a concerted effort to provide affordable housing for in-need areas of South Florida while also helping to revitalize and stabilize the communities. This project is the continuation of Chairman T.D. Jakes’ push to create affordable, accessible housing nationwide for those who need it most.
“Florida continues to grow and the need for more living options is at an all-time high,” said Marcus Dawson, managing partner of T.D. Jakes Real Estate Ventures.“It is our mission to create the necessary alliances that help address the most glaring issues like affordable housing. New Urban Development shares our vision for community transformationfor seniors and underserved populations, and their accomplishments in South Florida model what development should look like in our communities.”
As Miami’s largest Black-owned real estate developer and real estate development affiliate of The Urban League of Greater Miami, New Urban Development has been revitalizing neighborhoods in South Florida for nearly two decades. The company has facilitated the development of more than 13 housing projects including multi-family and senior living units.
“The relationships and access to funding sources through T.D. Jakes Real Estate Ventures will help us expand the work we’ve been doing to improve the housing options in overlooked and underserved neighborhoods of Miami-Dade County and surrounding areas,” said Oliver Gross, president of New Urban Development. “We all believe in a holistic approach to community revitalization that values transformation over transactions and incorporates education programs, financial literacy and other resources to residents.”
The multifamily, mixed-income development located in Hallandale Beach will feature 200 units on five acres, located at the center of an historic African American communitywith limited affordable housing options. The development is expected to break ground in Q1 2024.
The senior living development in Miami Gardens will consist of 150 units on seven acres. Located adjacent to Miami Gardens Senior Family Center, this will be the first housing complex developed for seniors in Miami Gardens and will feature a clubhouse and walking trails. The City of Miami Gardens awarded the land to New Urban Development to complement the existing senior recreation center while Miami-Dade County awarded funding for the housing development.
“It is my absolute honor to welcome the partnership between T.D. Jakes Real Estate Ventures and New Urban Development to Miami-Dade County,” said Oliver G. Gilbert, III, Chairman of the Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners. “Their joint venture in Miami Gardens exemplifies a purposeful commitment to not only create housing options but to create an environment tailored to the unique needs of our senior residents, embodying a vision of dignity, comfort, and community.”
TDJREV established a development in Dallas called Capella Park, which is a master planned community spearheaded in 2007. TDJREV is also slated to break ground on Ft. MacPherson, a former U.S. Army base in Atlanta, which will be transformed into mixed-income housing, businesses, and a master planned community. Similar developments are planned for Chicago, Houston and other areas across the country.
Nationwide affordable housing is a top concern for all Americans, but particularly, African Americans and those living on the margins of society. Recent reports show the Black homeownership rate was 45% in 2022,30% lower than White households, making the gap wider than it was 50 years ago. In addition to soaring interest rates and home prices plaguing all homebuyers, other obstacles to Black homeownership still include discriminatory public and private housing policiesthat hinder Blacks from being approved for loans, the devastating impact of student loan debt, which disproportionately impacts Black women, and the wage gap where Black employees are still paid substantially less for equal work.
About T.D. Jakes Real Estate Ventures TDJREV is a Dallas-based real estate company dedicated to implementing T.D. Jakes’ visionof creating attainable and sustainable communities in a global marketplace and developing 21st Century solutions to address rudimentary needs in targeted communities with a focus on economic development, job training, financial literacy and education enrichment. Its real estate portfolio includes Capella Park, a 400-plus acre community in south Dallas that includes single-family homes, live-work space and a pre k-8 school.

T.D. Jakes Real Estate Ventures LLC. will build on land that just happens to be beside the Tyler Perry Studios.
T.D. Jakes Real Estate Ventures, LLC. (TDJ REV) aims to make housing more attainable for the Black community.
Access to affordable housing is a crisis in our communities.Rent has become unaffordable and, though the housing market has seen a significant decline, inflation has driven up mortgages, per Forbes. This is true across the board for all races. Furthermore, it has been deliberately perpetrated on us. I worked in the Mortgage industry for a short time right when all this stuff was culminating. I was there long enough to recognize the agenda and witness the corruption. And right smack in the middle of it, was TD Jakes. TDJ REV plans to build its own development for lease and sale, which will guarantee affordability to people who need housing and desire to own their own home. Does that apply to anyone in need, or only blacks?
The program will offer mixed income housing which Bishop Jakes has found produces the best results in community development.(well, he ought to know, he has been working it for years. Receiving Government funding and NGO support.) But community development extends well beyond the scope of just building houses and running credit. Jakes tells The Root the program has gathered retail constituents to help build grocery stores and hospitalsand ensure that the community isn’t just existing, but living healthily.
“We wanted to create living spaces that included green spaces, biking trails, access to healthier foods (sounds like the NWO smart cities to me) and covenants (Oaths?) in our properties that protected us from a loan sharks and things that have been as pervasive as cancers eating into the fabric of African American Community,” said Jakes. Do you only care about BLACKS, Mr. Jakes? Not very “CHRISTIAN” of you. Aren’t you just promoting discrimination directed at NON BLACKS?
The goal is to make the resources we’ve (meaning blacks?)been separated from – due to redlining, segregation and gentrification – available at fingertip level, Jakes said. With the skyrocketing cost of living and stagnant minimum wage (again true for all races), TDJ REV aims to help people support their lifestyles and supply their basic needs.
A stigma looms over the idea of homeownership for Black youth, especially given the financial burdens they face coming out of college and entering the workforce. It’s too expensive, seemingly unattainable or most often brings the question, “What am I going to do with a whole house?” You have to be joking. For over 70 years now, due to in a large part to Affirmative Action blacks have been given preferential treatment for jobs, for loan programs for education/housing/opening a business, housing, education, community programs for school supplies, college education, job training, food stamps, all manner of support not available to whites no matter how poor or in need. Shoot when I as living on campus working after classes to pay for my courses, books, room and board the black students got all of that for free plus an entertainment allowance.
Bishop Jakes provided a simple suggestion: financial literacy.
“Finanical educationis helpful – it includes understanding the stock market, passive and aggressive streams of income but also understanding that homeownership is the beginning of building generational wealth. One of the things that young people don’t realize – There’s so many things you can do when you own that you can’t do when you rent.” The right to own your own property is the fundamental right that guarantees your freedom.
Jakes offered the example of owning an Airbnb property to rent out, selling a house for equity or even investing in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) where you can allocate a percentage of your rent toward owning a building or facility. He said often government or corporate programs fail to reach our community (again, the black community) with information on these opportunities. Now, he’s working to deliver the information himself. The only young people who receive training in how to handle money and how to make it are the children of the RICH. No one is teaching whites, Hispanics, indigenous nations or any other race how to build your finances.
“I’m really trying to leverage my entire platform to be a conduit so that we are knowledgeable about what’s out there and we are not afraid of what’s out there. Information moves away fear.”
TDJ REV understands that not all business owners have the financial statements to acquire credit. They also understand not all people in the workforce have a roof over their heads because of similar credit related obstacles. To meet people where they are, TDJ REV is creating a Community Development Financial Institution Fund called “Global Village”to offer resources to people who don’t have perfect credit and relieve Black peopleof the idea that you have to have perfect credit just to get started.
Single Family Homes – For sale mixed income with affordable and market rate offerings. Residential Village Rendering.
One of the most exciting parts of this program is the TDJ REV’s plans for construction. Bishop Jakes is eyeing to break ground in Atlanta later this year. Specifically, he’s looking to construct on 95 acres of land adjacent to Tyler Perry Studios. These buildings will include single family homes, townhouses and apartments. Jakes said he looks forward to using the development as a model that can be duplicated in other cities.
“We’re due those opportunities and we’re due those chances. We’re also acquiring some pre-existing Malta income facilities (no annual property tax)where it’s feasible to make sure there is a hand up for workforce and underemployed people to have access to adequate living – as well as people who are gainfully employed.”
Bishop Jakes refuses to limit his leadership of Black people within the walls of The Potter’s House Church. He sees a need to elevate people in all areas of life from education to business and uses the knowledge he’s attained to fight against the racial disparities that have set us up to fail.
“We might have a great church service, but we’re not having a great community and we’re not having a great life. Ultimately, my vision is to stand at the epicenter of ministry and marketplace in such a way that not only are we ministering to your spiritual needs but we’re also ministry to your natural needs by forming [partnerships]within the marketplace for the upward mobility of people of color,” he said.
This is nothing more or less than the globalists landgrab and redistribution of wealth. They are working to occultly and unethically transfer the money from Whites to people of Color.
Something you need to bear in mind when you look at any statistics. They lie, the give false impressions. They never give you details on what factors went into their numbers. If all white people are included in the group that means that all the filthy rich (who are mostly white) who each own multiple properties and own the properties of highest value, then naturally whites will always appear at the top of the list of homeowners. However, there are countless numbers of whites in this nation who cannot afford to buy homes or even rent an apartment.
If you look at the graph below you can clearly see that both whites and blacks have been pretty much holding steady with slight rises and falls but no huge change in the number of homeowners. The groups with the largest increases are the Asian population and the group they just label as “Other Races” whatever that means.
The share of young adults living with parents increased in 2024, interrupting the post-pandemic trend of moving out of parental homes.Nearly a third (32.5%) of adults ages 18-34 live with their parents according to the latest 2024 American Community Survey (ACS).This is up from 31.8% in 2023, although it remains below the pre-pandemic peak of 34.5% in 2017. Geospatial analysis of the 2024 ACS data shows significant differences across states, with the Southern and Northeastern states having some of the highest shares of young adults living in parental homes.
While the national average share increased to 31.8%, over 40% of young adults ages 18-34 lived in parental homes in New Jersey (44%)and Connecticut (41%). California and Maryland register the nation’s third and fourth-highest shares of 39% and 38%, respectively. At the opposite end of the spectrum are states with less than a fifth of young adults living with parents. The fast-growing North Dakota records the nation’s lowest share of 12%, while the neighboring South Dakota registers 18%. In the District of Columbia, where the job market was relatively stable in 2024, less than 13% of young adults lived with their parents. The cluster of north-central U.S. states completes the nation’s list with the lowest percentages of young adults remaining in parental homes.
Young Adults 18-34 Living with Parents
The elevated shares of young adults living with parents in high-cost coastal areas underscore the role of housing affordabilityin driving this trend. Statistical analysis confirms a clear link between prohibitively expensive housing, especially rentals, and the high prevalence of young adults residing with their parents. The states with higher shares of renters paying 30 percent or more of their income on housing, and therefore considered cost-burdened, tend to register higher shares of young adults living with parents.
The reported shares come from the ACS Summary files that do not separate college-age adults (ages 18-24) from the older subset (ages 25-34). Once the ACS public microdata becomes available, it will be worth understanding whether the younger and older subgroups experienced divergent trends over the last year.

The Good Soil Movement will be a “Seed” Capital Fast Pitch competition in where BIPOCentrepreneurs will pitch for the opportunity to receive grant fundingto scale, grow and impact their businesses.
Meaning of BIPOC
BIPOC stands for Black, Indigenous, and People of ColorMerriam Webster+1.
What it means
BIPOC is an umbrella term used in the United States to refer to people who are not considered white, with a focus on explicitly centering Black and Indigenous communitiesin discussions about race, equity, and systemic injusticemeansy.com. In other words, equity in their minds does not apply to WHITES. Get that in yuor head.
Blackrefers to African Americans and people of African descent.
Indigenousrefers to Native American, American Indian, and Alaskan Native peoples.
People of Coloris a broad category for all non-white racial and ethnic groups Merriam Webster+1.
Why it was created
The term emerged as a more specific alternative to the older “POC” (People of Color) label. While POC is a general umbrella term, BIPOC was developed to:
Acknowledge that Black and Indigenous communities have faced unique, deep-seated oppression from colonization, slavery, and systemic racismlacommunityaid.org+1. I am sorry to have to point this out, but slavery was not unique to the US, nor was it primarily perpetrated by WHITES. But that is a different post. SLAVERY in the US was pretty localized not wide spread. It ended 160 years ago. No one living today lived during the time slavery existed in the USA. Colonization of the USA ended in 1783 that is 243 years ago. Come on. “Let it GO!” as TD would say. As far as systemic racism goes that has been going on since the beginning of time. Racial struggles and Religious differences. You cannot legislate morality. All white people are not evil or racist, just like all Black are not. Let’s get real. Those who are stirring up hatred and violence want to destoy us all. THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN UNITE US IS CHRIST. That is what TD Jakes should be focused on. That is what he should be preaching and teaching. Not separatism, hatred, racism and vengeance.
Highlight that not all people of color experience the same level of injustice, and that Black and Indigenous experiences are central to U.S. racial justice conversationsMerriam Webster+1. So, they acknowledge that not all of them are the same or have the same experiences, but they put all WHITE in one group.
Foster solidarity among marginalized groups while recognizing their distinct histories and struggleslacommunityaid.org. In other words, the victims or perceived victims, now become the abusers. Black hatred toward whites is the same racism, just reversed.
When to use it
Use BIPOC when:
Talking about racial inequities where Black and Indigenous communities are a key focus.
In activism, education, workplace inclusion, or policy discussions about race and representation meansy.com.
If you are referring to a specific group (e.g., Latinx, Asian American, Arab American), it’s best to name that group directly rather than using BIPOC meansy.com.
In short: BIPOC is a politically and socially conscious term that centers Black and Indigenous experiences within the broader “people of color” category, aiming to make race conversations more precise and inclusive.

Bishop T.D. Jakes, also known as Thomas Dexter Jakes, is a well-known figure globally for his exceptional spiritual insights and leadership at The Potter’s House, a non-denominational megachurch in Dallas, Texas. However, he is not limited to his religious dutiesas he is also a prolific New York Times bestselling author, musician, television host, and a successful entrepreneur.
T.D. Jakes’ journey begins against the backdrop of Charleston, West Virginia, where he was born on June 9, 1957. Growing up in modest surroundings, young Thomas displayed early signs of his extraordinary gifts and innate leadership qualities. His foray into ministry commenced at the tender age of ten when he began preaching, foreshadowing the impactful role he would later play in the spiritual landscape.
late 14c., “predatory incursion,”Scottish, from the verb (14c.), perhaps a back-formation of Middle English forreyer “raider, forager”(mid-14c.), from Old French forrier, from forrer “to forage,” from forrage“fodder; foraging; pillaging, looting”
As he navigated the challenges of adolescence, T.D. Jakes discovered a profound sense of purpose through his faith, shaped significantly by his upbringing and familial influences. His father, Ernest Jakes Sr., played a pivotal role as a successful entrepreneur, imparting valuable lessons about diligence, resilience, and the intersection of faith and business. I have not seen any indication that he was touched by God, or born again, or building a relationship with God. Or, that he felt a calling to the ministry.
The trajectory of T.D. Jakes’ life took a transformative turn when he pursued higher education at West Virginia State University. Although faced with financial constraints, he exhibited tenacity and commitment to his studies, eventually earning a bachelor’s degree in sociology. This academic journey laid the groundwork for his later pursuits and fueled his passion for creating positive change in communities.
After completing his studies, T.D. Jakes embarked on a ministerial journey, initially serving in various local churches. In 1982, he founded the Greater Emmanuel Temple of Faith in Charleston, West Virginia, marking the inception of his formal pastoral leadership. However, it was his move to Dallas in 1996 and the establishment of The Potter’s House that catapulted him into global prominence. Still not seeing anything that tells me he is a “Man of God” or focused on the Work of building the Kingdom of GOD. He seems to be more concerned with building his OWN KINGDOM.
BISHOP TD JAKES– an American non-denominational Christian evangelical pastor and motivational speaker. He was the senior pastor of The Potter’s House, a non-denominational American megachurch in Dallas, Texas, from 1996 to 2025. In 1982, at age 25, Jakes became the pastor of Greater Emanuel Temple of Faith, a storefront church in Smithers, West Virginia, with ten members.[3]In 1988, he joined the denomination Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies, a Oneness Pentecostal ministerial fellowship founded by Bishop Sherman Watkins.[4]In 1990, Jakes moved back to South Charleston, West Virginia, and his congregation grew to 300 members. In 1993, he moved to Cross Lanes, West Virginia.[5]In 1995, he founded “TDJ Enterprises” which publishes his books and produces his films.[6]From 1995 to 1996, Jakes hosted “Get Ready,” a weekly radio and television show with national distribution through syndication.[5]In 1996, Jakes, founded The Potter’s House in Dallas, Texas, a non-denominational church.[7] Located on a 34-acre hilltop campus, the Potter’s House features a 5,000-seat auditorium, as well as offices for employees and staff.
Greater Emanuel Temple of Faith– The church is historically linked to T. D. Jakes, who founded it in West Virginia Wikipedia+1. So, without any formal religious training whatsoever TD JAKES is a self appointed pastor in a Church/denomination he created with just 10 members. Calling himself a Pastor. 6 years later
Bishop Sherman S. Watkins is the founder and chief prelate of Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies,He began his ministry in 1970 with a storefront church called Greater Emmanuel Apostolic Church of God, which grew into one of the largest congregations in the city. Sherman Watkins has no formal seminary or theological school education, Watkins’ ministry is rooted in Apostolic and Oneness Pentecostal traditions. He has described his calling as coming from the Lord, emphasizing a life of prayer, Bible study, and preaching the gospel highergroundaaa.com So, JAKES moved on from the denomination he started to one started by another guy with no training and no credentials, another self appointed leader calling himself Bishop by his own authority.
Another way to become the pastor of a non-denominational church is to plant a church in the role of pastor.Planting a church should not be considered a mere professional alternativeif no existing church has made someone a job offer. Church planting is a calling, not a fallback option. So, TD JAKES decided to start his own Church but this time to call it a NON-DENOMINATIONAL Church. Since to use that designation requires no qualifications, training, licensing or ordination. YOU CAN JUST DECLARE YOURSELF A BISHOP OR YOUR OWN CHURCH.

NEED TO KNOW
In a major leadership change that was years in the making, Bishop T.D. Jakes is turning over the day-to-day pastoring duties of his megachurch to his daughter and son-in-law on Sunday, July 6
Jakes describes the move as a “changing of the guardbut notes “they haven’t totally gotten rid of me”
His Dallas-based Potter’s House Church — which has a congregation of more than 30,000 — is considered to be one of the nation’s largest, most influential churches
Right: Bishop T.D. Jakes (left) with daughter Sarah and son-in-law Touré.The Potter’s House of Dallas
Bishop T.D. Jakes‘ massive, near-fatal heart attack in November — during a church service — was a solemn reminder of the “thin line” between life and death, he says.
“It just reinforced the fact that none of us knows if we’ll see the light of day tomorrow,” Jakes tells PEOPLE from his home office in Dallas as he describes how doctors told him he was “five minutes” away from death. “We just don’t know.”
For Jakes, the health scare while he was delivering a sermon at his non-denominational Potter’s House Churchwas also a wake-up call. And it helped spur the 69-year-old charismatic preacher and motivational speaker to make a decision that will undoubtedly impact the lives of his 30,000-member congregation and the more than 50,000 viewers who regularly stream his sermons online.

As of Sunday, July 6, Jakes will be passing the torch of his church, which he launched in 1996 and which now has campuses in Fort Worth, Texas, and Los Angeles, to his daughter and son-in-law, pastors Sarah Jakes Roberts and Touré Roberts.
“After my health incident, I didn’t want the church left struggling, trying to figure out where do we go from here,” Jakes explains. “I didn’t want that to happen. I’ve seen a lot of people keep things so long that they built and then ended up killing it.”
The move, admits Sarah, 36, is a bit “terrifying” when she ponders the reality of what it means to take the helm of one of the nation’s largest, most influential churches.
“I don’t think anyone could step into this role and not feel a little bit of trepidation,” she says. “It’s been exciting to work through all the different emotions. And it’s going to be exciting to see what next looks like.”
Adds Touré: “The weight of responsibility of leading an incredible ministry founded by an incredible man is a balance between exciting and sobriety.”
Jakes describes the move as a “changing of the guard,” insisting, “they haven’t totally gotten rid of me. I’m still going to preach, I’m still going to minister. I’m still the chairman of the board, but the day-to-day pastoring and all those responsibilities” will be in the hands of Sarah and Touré.
The seeds for the transfer were planted years ago.

“This isn’t a sudden decision or overnight move,” says Jakes, noting how the couple began taking a more active role in the church four years ago, allowing Sarah and Touré to “get to know the culture and nuances” of an organization that employs 350 people and runs a wide array of community service projects around the nation.
“The best way to train somebody is let them watch you do it, then let them do it with you and, finally, to let them do it while you watch,” Jakes says. “We’re at that third stage now of letting them do it while I watch.”
The path to the pulpit has been a circuitous journey for the couple, who were married in 2014 and have a blended family of six kids.
“Faith didn’t come easy to me,” admits Sarah, who gave birth to her first child at just 14. “I just kind of accepted that it wasn’t for me.”
But in 2010, while in the midst of a divorce from her first husband, Sarah began to find her way back to the church while blogging about the ups and downs of her life — and people began reaching out to say that her words were helping them put their lives into perspective.

That’s when a lightbulb went off. “I felt like if I had to be in ministry, I could do it this way where I can be authentic about who I am, who I’m not, and meet people where they are, as opposed to maybe sitting on this high horse and saying that I’ve already arrived,” she says.
Touré — who grew up in L.A.’s Watts neighborhood and worked as a tech entrepreneur — also never imagined that he would one day be leading a megachurch.
“I really started getting serious about God [in my mid 20s], got touched by God in the church and began to tell everybody around me how amazing it was,” says the 52-year-old, who created One Church International in L.A. in 2004, which quickly grew to 7,000 members and has more than a million subscribers on YouTube.
Part of what makes the couple so “relatable” as pastors, Touré says, is their back story: “People,” he says, “will listen to someone who has some scars.”
He’s currently in the middle of a serious legal battle: In December he filed a defamation lawsuit against a Pennsylvania man, Duane Youngblood — a registered sex offender, records show — who claimed on a YouTube talk show that Jakes had tried to groom and sexually assault him in the 1980s.
Jakes is steadfastly denying his accusations, likening them to extortion; Youngblood has stood by his account, with support from his brother.
“We sued this man for defamation in order to set the record straight and hold him accountable for his lies,” Jakes’ attorney Dustin Pusch tells PEOPLE, assailing Youngblood for “an attempt to rewrite history and get his own day in the sun.”
For Jakes, the ongoing conflict is just one of the potential risks that comes with the job.
“You are constantly in the middle of situations of disparity and crisis, working with inmates and felons and all types of people,” he says. “It’s a lot more than preaching — that’s the easy part of your week. It can wear you down.”
“And I’ve told [Sarah and Touré] not to let the stress of the job or the people become overwhelming,” he continues, “because I’ve learned that what gets on your heart can end up in your heart.”

This man is one of the country’s most renowned Pastors. He has a mega-church with 30,000 in membership, he’s written over 50 books, 15 of them on the New York’s Best Selling list. He is esteemed by the Christian community. He has received many accolades for his service in the name of Jesus. Most people would say “if everybody else accepts him, then he must be tue”! But is Bishop T.D. Jakes a false teacher?
Now one could easily state that if the world is loving him, then that should be the alarm by itself. The Bible tells us that the world does not love Christ. This also means thatthe world won’t love His followers either, especially those placed in a role of authority to teach the Word of God in truth and Spirit. This fact has been proven to be true consistently throughout history with the many martyrs that have been killed in the name of Christ. This world does not accept that there is only way to for redemption and to heaven.Anyone holding true to that fact will not be accepted by the world who rejects it. So why is T.D. Jakes?
We’re not talking about the general church public. We are talking about the influencers of this world. The ones that are steering the world in the direction for the rule of the AntiChrist. Why are they promoting someone who pushes doctrine away from what they have been promoting? Why would they now change history and start allowing the true gospel to be understood by the masses through their networks and funds?
They wouldn’t. It’s much easier for them to take a man already trusted by the mass community and give him a larger platform.A platform where he is able to twist the doctrine, but because the masses do not have a full grasp of sound doctrine, they’re easily manipulated to accept the lie.People do sell their souls for fame and fortune. Please read the article “Selling Your Soul is Not a Cliché”.The goal is to change the thought of believers not grounded in strong doctrine and stray them away because of worldly authority. The message seems pure but it is purely satanic and New Age philosophy.
Now how T.D. Jakes started out and what he preached about in the past, we can not comment on. Was he ever sincere and true to sound doctrine? We do not know and make no claims on it.We only reference him on this site because of his new platform & affiliations that is placing massive deception throughout this country. Our goal is to break bondage of false doctrine and false teaching that Jesus spoke about to His disciples.
As T.D. Jakes has gained popularity through associations with Oprah Winfrey, the last 3 U.S. Presidents, and Hollywood, his influence has grown exponentially. He has been praised as the most influential African-American of our time according to “The Atlantic”. He is now mainstream with the ability to influence the masses that trust him because of his supposed role and title. He is the epitome of a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Talking as an authority figure when it comes to the things of God, people trust that this man is spreading the true gospel. First off, to any discerning Christian this would tell it all right here. “Goes of Script with The New Gospel”? There is no “New Gospel”. Matter of fact any reference to a new gospel is blaspheme. Any believer in God’s Word should be able to decipher that.
Let alone a Bishop of a mega-church of 30,000 members. If the Gospel was truly his main point in life as his role states it is, this could never happen. We can never forget what the Word of God states a Bishop should be. Also when a teacher of God’s Word is said to have “gone off script”, this is what the definition of a false teacher is.Case is closed, the Christian community should now more than ever hold him accountable for all his teaching. The case should be closed.
But let’s give him the benefit of the doubt that he had no control of the cover.
Let’s examine what he talks about and promotes as a spiritual leader. When you see him on television on Oprah’s Lifeclass or other programming, he does not refer to the gospel at all.He doesn’t even have a bible. He talks as the guide itself. As the man of authority that has the answers. On Oprah’s Lifeclass they even display his quotes with a resemblance of scripture formatting.
In his speaking engagements, he talks about the power of thinking and attitude. The power of the secret drive within. He does not even refer to the Holy Spirit. He does not even refer to the power of God.He refers to the power being in everyone. It is extremely blasphemous doctrine that comes from a figure that we call “Bishop T.D. Jakes”. We encourage you to view these programs with discernment and understanding of the sound doctrine.
His most recent book “Instinct” by itself should bring the point home about his false doctrine. Please read the descriptions above.Ask yourself “How does God get the glory from this book?”This book promotes power within. It promotes obtaining inner knowledge that you have not accessed yet.It promotes illumination. These are New Age philosophy teachings. He even sells a workbook to coincide with the book. He markets it to Christians.
Christians following this man and his doctrine are unknowingly accepting false doctrine and a conversion of their religion. They are being exposed to such extreme false doctrine that they will inevitably not know the True God and what He desires for us.
God does not want us to rely on ourselves. He wants us to rely on Him. Trust in Him.The only way we are saved after death is through the belief in Christ. The only way to access the pleasures of our heart on earth is through the Holy Spirit. It’s the Holy Spirit, not inner knowledge that takes us the next level and brings us peace. We just have to listen to it and understand God through His Word, not through man.
This is sound doctrine that a Christian leader should represent in the very least. When you hear of “Christian Leaders & Teachers” avoid the Holy Spirit. You should avoid them.
Lastly many of you may say that this doesn’t matter because you have never listened to T.D. Jakes so it does not affect you. This is fine and a good thing that you have not been exposed to this false teacher, but you must love the rest that have been exposed. Help others break away from false doctrine and false teachers leading them astray. There is no greater risk than for a believer to lose his crown and have Jesus say “I never knew you”. spacer
The Bible consistently warns against false teachers who distort the truth, promote a man-centered message, and lead others away from the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. Paul wrote, “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions”(2 Timothy 4:3).
Jesus warned that “false prophets… come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves” (Matthew 7:15). True teachers of God’s Word will always point people to Christ, call them to repentance, and uphold the authority and sufficiency of Scripture. In contrast, modern teachings often direct people toward themselves, their self-worth, and their personal goals, leading them away from the transforming power of the Gospel.
For these reasons, based on the authority of Scripture, any pastor who focuses on self- reliance and self- esteem and personal goals, should be regarded as a false teacher, and his teachings should be avoided.Christians are called to “test everything; hold fast what is good”(1 Thessalonians 5:21) and to remain grounded in the truth of God’s Word, which is “living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword” (Hebrews 4:12).
The true Gospel is about repentance, faith in Jesus Christ, and the transforming power of God’s grace. It calls us to live lives of holiness, obedience, and submission to the Lordship of Christ, not to pursue self-esteem, personal success, or worldly happiness.Believers should remain faithful to the unchanging truth of God’s Word, which offers the way to eternal life and true spiritual growth in Christ alone.

With all that you have seen in this post, I want to make one thing very clear. GOD IS IN CONTROL! No matter how things may look from time to time. We can trust that GOD’s purpose will prevail. There are earth shaking things that must happen for God’s plan to play out. Many times God uses the evil plots, plans and works of the enemy to move things forward in HIS PLAN.
We NEVER have to worry or be anxious. We can trust GOD. As long as we are walking with Him, nothing that is happening in the world can keep us from what God has for us. God can take the things the Devil means for evil and turn it for out good.
Looking at the technical advance and the threat of AI, sometimes it can be very scary. BUT, think about how GOD is using this evil tool devised for our destruction to spread the GOOD NEWS and the Promises of God to a lost World. The comfort we can find in all of this is that we are getting very close to the return of Christ.
Matthew 24:14
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
