I started working on this post several years ago, when I first read about the proposed facility. It was turning into a very long post and took a lot of time. I was having trouble finishing it, but I was not too concerned. I did not think anyone would pay much attention to it at the time. NOW, this is an EXTREMELY RELEVANT TOPIC!
I have no doubt in my mind that most people do not realize how many of these facilities are already operating all over the world. It boggles the mind. What on earth do they need ALL THOSE FACILITES FOR, and why are they CREATING DEADLIER AND DEADLIER VIRUSES?
Are you aware of the history of these places. Their have already been numerous “accidents” where pathogens have “escaped” or been released on a very unaware public. There have also been numerous “suspicious deaths” of folks who were working in these facilities or who learned about what goes on in these facilities and were ready to speak out.
Our government, hell, any government, does not hesitate to experiment on its people. In the mind of those who govern, collateral damage is just a price that must be paid for the good of the many. Or for the good of their pockets. Through history this has been true. I lived through the 50s, 60s and 70s, and I have seen the horror that has been perpetrated on our citizens and our military personnel.
I wish it did not take a catastrophe for people to be willing to look at the truth. So many times people of God have spoken to warn the masses of impending disaster. VERY FEW will listen.
Today, I pray, that if you have not seen this information before, that you carefully and prayerfully consider all of it. In the days ahead, the more you know the better it will be for you. IGNORANCE IS NOT BLISS. I don’t think for a moment that we can stop what is coming… all we can do is prepare ourselves to deal with it, and walk by FAITH.
Trust GOD. If this article does nothing more than convince you that you CANNOT TRUST HUMANS, than it was all worth it. Scientists, Scholars, Doctors, Lawyers, Teachers, yes even Parents, and PASTORS, may GOD have mercy on their souls. YOU MUST study for yourself. DIG and SEEK OUT the TRUTH! IF you are not being guided by the HOLY SPIRIT you are lost! Exercise your CRITICAL THINKING. Stop seeking out altered consciousness. That is the devil’s playground. When you are not fully in your right mind and present thinking…the devil can have a field day. When you “empty your mind” through meditation…guess who fills it up?
In the state the world is in right now, you better be in full control of your faculties. The world is changing fast and disasters are striking in rapid fire fashion. You must be able to think on your feet and to discern the spirits.
JESUS DIED so that GOD could send the Holy Spirit to live in us, guide us, comfort us, lead us to all truth and MOST IMPORTANTLY EMPOWER US to stand against the works of the powers of darkness. The battle is in your mind but for your spirit. The Devil wants to take you away from GOD. Thankfully, if you are surrendered to GOD, the devil can’t defeat you. IF you are not under God’s covering, NOTHING AND NO ONE CAN SAVE YOU.
This is a lengthy study, not for mildly curious. I tried to minimize…but the information is all important to your full understanding of the issue. Bear with me. Be patient. Let GOD reveal the TRUTH to you.
The Center For Disease Research And Policy at the University of Minnesota (CIDRAP) summarized the hearing:
A US House of Representatives committee today explored problems at the nation’s biodefense labs, including a lack of coordinated federal oversight and even a lack of knowledge of how many high-containment labs exist.
These concerns have been highlighted recently by aggressive efforts from the Sunshine Project, a watchdog group that monitors biodefense research safety, and by other media reports.
Testifying on behalf of the GAO, Keith Rhodes, PhD, chief technologist for the [Government Accountability Office’s] Center for Technology and Engineering, said because a baseline of human error will always be present in laboratory settings, the level of safety risks will rise as the number of labs increases. Since the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the number of BSL 4 labs has risen from 5 to 15, he said. The GAO estimated in its report that there are nearly 1,400 BSL 3 labs in the United States.
Of 12 [government] agencies the GAO surveyed, none is responsible for tracking the number of BSL 3 and BSL 4 [Biosafety Level 3 and Biosafety Level 4] labs in the United States. “Consequently, no agency is responsible for determining the risks associated with the proliferation of these labs,” the GAO report states.
To emphasize the importance of that last paragraph, I’m including a table from Rhodes’ report (pdf) for the GAO (click to enlarge):
Federal Agencies’ Mission to Track and Know the Number of All BSL-3 and BSL-4 Labs within the
The report stresses that biodefense research is indeed important; however:
… unwarranted expansion without adequate oversight is proliferation, not expansion.Since the full extent of the expansion is not known, it is unclear how the federal government can ensure that sufficient but not superfluous capacity—that brings with it additional, unnecessary risk—is being created.
Three University of Texas facilities have recently had laboratory accidents with dangerous pathogens, including the agents of anthrax, tularemia, and shigellosis, according to a statement yesterday from the Sunshine Project, a nonprofit group that monitors biodefense research safety.
Two of the locations—University of Texas (UT) Health Science Center at Houston and UT at San Antonio—perform “select agent” work in biosafety level 3 (BSL-3) labs.
The incidents were revealed as a result of Texas freedom-of-information requests made by the Austin-based Sunshine Project. The lab accidents involved:
Aerosolized Bacillus anthracis, a category A bioterrorism agent, at UT Health Science Center in Houston
Francisella tularensis, another category A bioterrorism agent, at UT at San Antonio
Shigella, a food- or waterborne category B agent, which the Sunshine Project says may have been genetically engineered, at UT at Austin
Dr. Alan Pearson of the Center for Arms Control and Nonproliferation also testified (pdf). His statement is very detailed, and is recommended reading; since he is an expert in biological weapons, as well as biodefense, he emphasizes the national security risk, hinted at here:
Our current biosafety and biosecurity system is plagued by significant and systemic weaknesses, inadequate oversight and transparency, and a lack of rigorous interagency needs assessment and strategic planning. Unless corrective action is taken, the risks to our nation and its people from accidental or deliberate disease outbreaks arising from our own activities and institutions will continue to rise. The US biosafety and biosecurity system needs to be made more coherent, more comprehensive, more effective, and more transparent…
Put that together with the revelation that the 2001 anthrax attacks were most likely perpetrated by a “rogue” government scientist, Pearson’s testimony cannot be emphasized enough. Again, please read it (much shorter version here, pdf).
If you still aren’t convinced that there’s a huge problem, a recent article in the Hartford Courant revealed that the number of laboratories individuals in the US performing bioterrorism research has increased to 15,000. Not only that, but:
Among the concerns is that background checks conducted by the federal government before lab workers are allowed to work with substances such as anthrax aren’t thorough enough, said Gigi Kwik Gronvall, a senior associate at the Center for Biosecurity at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Gronvall said there are other concerns in addition to inadequate background checks.
“Nobody is checking to see if people being approved to work with anthrax or other biological agents actually have the scientific skills to work with it,” Gronvall said.
“Problem” is an understatement.
The legacy of the 2001 anthrax attacks is complex. We got a swift kick in the ass regarding emergency preparedness for bioweapons attacks, as well rapid detection of disease agents. Increased laboratory dedication to related research is critical.
But it’s gotten out of hand. We have increased our risk for accidents and criminal activity involving potentially lethal disease organisms.
In essence, the line between defense and weapons research (intentional or unintentional) is becoming more and more blurred.
I grew up in Lawrence, Kansas, which is about fifteen miles away of the town of Stull. Everyone where I came from had heard the rumors of the evils of Stull, and many of us made trips to the cemetery there to experience it firsthand.
With only a handful of residents and a few buildings within its borders, Stull seems like a quiet, lonely little peaceful town. If you believe the stories about Stull, however, you will find that it is actually as far from peaceful one town can get. Stull, Kansas is actually one of the “seven gateways to hell.”
The basic premise of the legends regarding Stull go like this: somewhere within the tiny, run-down Stull cemetery is a set of hidden steps which descend directly to the netherworld itself. The steps are nearly impossible to find, and are covered by a hidden seal which only opens on Halloween and the Spring Equinox. If one does manage to find these steps, they should never venture down them, for it is impossible to ever return.
The entire cemetery, even beyond containing a gateway to hell, is supposedly quite an evil place. The main focus of this evil was a dilapidated, crumbling church that stood up until last year. This church was used by witches and occult groups for worship. The church had no ceiling, but it was said that rain would never fall inside it. If one were to take two bottles and hold them in the formation of an inverted cross, it would be impossible to break them against the walls of this church. Last year, the church was bulldozed without the consent of those who owned the land it stood upon. No one is sure who knocked down the church and why they chose to do so.
Also within this cemetery was an imposingly tall pine tree, which stood until 1998, when it was destroyed to dissuade thrill-seekers. Even though the tree was perfectly healthy, it was cut down the day before Halloween. This tree grew directly through a headstone, splitting it in half. Local lore held that the tree was used to hang witchesbefore the land was allotted as a memorial ground. Both the church and tree were considered landmarks of evil, which would help lead the way to the mystical steps to hell located nearby.
In Stull’s history there have been a few strange facts which speak to its long reputation of being a cursed area. First, in the early 1900’s, a boy was accidentally burned to death by his own father. A few years later, a man in town was found hanging from a tree. Both of these took place near a road known as “Devil’s Road,” which appears on old maps of Stull, although it no longer exists today. In short, Stull, Kansas has long been a place of mysterious deaths and associations with the Dark Prince.
Today, mysterious people guard Stull from disturbances. Stories abound of curious people being terrorized and chased out of Stull by pick up trucks. Some stories say that these trucks would trail intruders for over twenty miles! This had lead to further speculation that there is something going on in Stull that someone wishes to hide. –Erika S.
Still Scary in Stull
There is a cemetery in Stull where a pine tree stood stoic, sentinel on sunny, bright, winter days and would appear as a silhouette at sunset. A tombstone has been split by the enormous trunk and has become embedded in the roots. Tales of a witch being hung from the branches of the pine have been passed down through the generations. Other witches subsequently have flocked to the cemetery on May Day Eve and Halloween to hold black masses. The witches have been known to dance around the tree.
On October 30, 1998, the pine was cut down that had previously loomed over the cemetery. Kedrich Blacwood of The Lawrence Journal-World quotes the official position of the town citizens that the tree had to be removed because it had died during the summer. Authorities have made no indication that the pine had played a role in legends of demonology that surround the cemetery or that it had anything to do with why the tree was cut down.
The ruins of the church in Stull consist of four walls and a pile of debris that used to be on Emmanuel Hill that served Stull until 1922. Since then, the legends concerning the church and the surrounding cemetery have grown as the church has decayed. The church was allegedly used by Satanists who used to, and may still use the church to have rituals.
There are many rumors of a staircase that is behind the church on the right hand side of the church if you are facing the church. The staircase is difficult to find because grass has overgrown the lid that covers the stairwell. The stairs are supposed to lead to a gateway to hell. One rumor says that if one goes down the stairs, it will take two weeks to get back up to the ground level, although it seems like only a few moments have passed. After starting to descend the stairs, it feels as if the person is being dragged down the stairs by an unknown force!
One of the most important legends is that the church serves as one of the seven portals to hell. The devil reportedly makes a personal appearance in the cemetery on Halloween at midnight to visit the grave of a witch with whom the devil had a child.Their child is said to materialize in the surrounding woods, taking on the form of a werewolf.
Visitors who have made midnight trips to the cemetery have fallen victim to various mysterious phenomena—many of them have reported experiencing missing time. They have found that although according to their watches they have spent several hours in the cemetery when all they remember is next to nothing!
For those who dare to camp out behind the church for a night or two, they will hear weird and awful noises! People who are brave enough to are encouraged to spend the night behind the church to avoid patrols performed by local police that occur every hour or two. People are encouraged to bring lots of extra batteries for their flashlights because they will have lots of problems with their flashlights going out mysteriously. It would also be a good idea to bring warm clothing, a tent and a cell phone (not to mention, telling a friend where you will be in case the devil tries to take you down to hell with him)! –Adam John Ketzner
Campout on the Threshold to Hell
There are “stairs” that lead somewhere down. They are behind the church on the right side if you are facing the church. They aren’t easy to find, however, because they are well covered by the grass that has grown on top of the lid that covers them. It is not easy to find them, it took a friend and I about three hours of snooping around. We came upon this about six years ago.
If you really want to see or hear awful and weird stuff, try to campout behind the church for a night. Do this behind the church to avoid the patrols that do drive by there at night every hour or two. Take a flashlight and plenty of batteries, because you will have a ton of trouble keeping the flashlight working and it will go out a lot, trust me, I know. –Ryan
America has no shortage of haunted graveyards dotted across the country, but none of them are quite as legendary as Kansas’ Stull Cemetery, an infamous “doorway to hell” with a reputation so big that even the pope himself is said to make his plane fly around it. With legends that involve human sacrifice, occult rituals, and even a yearly visit from the devil himself, Stull has gained an over-the-top reputation that has landed it in countless books, most haunted top ten lists, and even appearances on Supernatural, but is there any truth to the rumors swirling around America’s “most evil” graveyard?
When you’re a long-time paranormal adventurer like me, Stull Cemetery has been on your haunted hot-spot bucket list since it rose to internet prominence in the 90s, but its out-of-the-way location always made a late-night adventure prohibitive.Hidden away in rural Kansas, Stull’s inaccessibility remains one of the biggest reasons that good information (and good photos) of the legendary graveyard are so hard to find. Fortunately, while driving from Ohio to present The Traveling Museum of the Paranormal & Occult at the Colorado’s Stanley Hotel, I finally came within an hour of Stull, and wasn’t going to pass up the chance to visit. It was much weirder than I expected– the most evil cemetery in the world, the portal to hell, was actually on fire when I arrived.
WITCHCRAFT, SATAN, AND THE POPE: STULL’S LEGENDS
For over a century, Stull Cemetery has been linked to countless legends involving witchcraft, satanic cults, and of course, the infamous gateway to hell. According to the legends, Lucifer once used the abandoned (now destroyed) church at the center of the cemetery as his own personal doorway from the netherworld. It was in Stull where he would rouse the spirits who had been buried inside the gates of the most evil cemetery in existence, but he’s only able to pass through the gateway twice a year, at midnight on the Spring Equinox and, of course, on Halloween.
I’m sure you’re probably wondering why, of all places, the devil would choose a small, relatively unknown place like Stull as his connection to the Earthly realm, but the reason dates back to 1850. The most widely-accepted theory behind the origins of Stull’s evil reputation is tied to both a large tree that once stood in the cemetery and an old tombstone inscribed with the word “Wittich”.The tree, it’s said, was the “hanging-tree” for condemned witches, who were put to death by the torch-wielding townspeople. And the grave? None other than the final resting place for the bones of Satan’s child, who the legend says was born deformed and covered in wolf hair.
Stull Cemetery as depicted on the CW’s Supernatural episode “Swan Song”
According to the legends, hundreds of eye-witnesses have claimed that, even though the church had been missing its roof since the 1920s, rain refused to land inside the building.Awe-struck visitors would report that the tiny church would stay bone dry no matter what time of year or weather conditions, and it was because of these supernatural attributes that the town finally gathered to tear the church down. This destruction of the building made the spirits angry, and rumor has it, the hauntings in the graveyard flared up something fierce.
Out of all the larger-than-life legends that surround Stull, the most famous story associated with the cemetery reportedly happened in 1993, when Pope John Paul II was flying to Colorado for a public appearance. According to the legend, the pope declared that the ground in Stull Cemetery was so unholy, that he forced his private plane to re-route his flight around the graveyardbecause even the air above it was tainted by evil.
WHY HASN’T STULL BEEN PROPERLY INVESTIGATED?
Paranormal investigator Greg Newkirk stands in the center of Stull, Kansas
All great tales of monsters and mysteries come from some kind of truth, but how many of Stull’s legends are true? What is it about Stull Cemetery that made it such an infamous piece of American legend? Were there ever really occult rituals performed in the abandoned church? Were witches once hung from the graveyard’s withered old tree? Is the tiny rural cemetery even haunted?
While it’s easy to dismiss the more fantastic tales of satanic elevators to hell and undocumented witch trials in Kansas, discovering whether or not Stull Cemetery is haunted by restless spirits is a lot harder. You might think that such a legendary location would be great fodder for paranormal television, but not a single ghost hunting reality show has ever made its way to Stull Cemetery. No, it’s not the ghosts or Satan keeping them away – it’s the town itself.
By 1988, the frightening legends of the cemetery had grown to a fever pitch, and on October 31,nearly five-hundred people gathered at the graveyard gates to wait for the devil’s scheduled appearance, causing so much damage that the local Sheriff’s department has posted deputies on the property every Halloween since. The new police presence actually had the opposite effect than was intended: now, Stull wasn’t just legendary – it was part of an occult conspiracy.
To make matters worse, on Halloween of 1999, local reporters made a trip to Stull Cemetery to put the legend to rest once and for all. They were hoping to document Satan’s failure to appearin the graveyard at 12:00am, but were mysteriously turned away by the property owners just half an hour shy of midnight. Since then, it’s been absolutely impossible to obtain permission to actually investigate the property, especially on two particular dates. You know the ones.
During my visit, I counted at least half a dozen signs warning visitors that trespassers would be prosecuted, even though the front gate was wide open and fresh flowers were propped up against shiny new graves. The warnings were clearly for anyone who’d made a detour to the tiny town of Stull for an after-dark rendevous with the devil.
To be perfectly honest, even if a lucky ghost hunting reality show was able to pull off a miracle and get permission to visit Stull Cemetery, it would probably make a pretty horrible episode of television. The small graveyard sits right on the edge of Stull’s busy highway, across from which a row of tiny houses sit, each one with its own disgruntled local staring disapprovingly from the porch. It’s a far cry from the spooky image painted in books or the desolate location of Supernatural‘s final showdown with Satan.
Despite the fact that Stull doesn’t quite live up to its internet reputation in real life, my own visit to America’s legendary portal to hell was so weird that I had to take pause.Within minutes of entering Stull Cemetery’s gates, I noticed dozens of flames forming small rings in each corner of the graveyard. There were no burn piles, no visitors throwing cigarettes into the grass, and it was a cool spring day – a far cry from a fire hazard. Maybe the devil forgot to close the door on his way back to hell.

While there’s hundreds, if not thousands of allegedly cursed, evil, and otherwise damned places all over America, Stull Cemetery will always sit near the top of the pile, if for no other reason than its inaccessibility. While ghost hunters can stake their claim to exorcising demonic spirits from the world’s most famous haunted houses, Stull is immune to their cleansings. Television crews are turned away and skeptics can’t be bothered with driving to the middle of Kansas to debunk an over-the-top legend (much less crawl out of their comfy armchairs), so the Portal to Hell endures.
Stull Cemetery remains steeped in mystery, as it always has been. And that’s just the way I like it.

MANHATTAN, KS
At the juncture of the Kansas River and the Big BlueRiver, in the Flint Hills region of Kansas, is the lively town of Manhattan made up of traditional single-family colonials and ranches, arts and crafts bungalows, historic mid-century gothic revivals and posh downtown lofts. Manhattan is home to Kansas State University and the culture and economy of the town are squarely linked to the school. The university is not only the largest employer in Manhattan, but its student body of 24,000 plays a large role in shaping the community. Manhattanites take pride in their team, Kansas State Wildcats, and purple shirts can regularly be spotted all over town. ou may have heard terms like Purple Pride,K-State Proud, and the Wildcat Way. But once you set foot on the K-State campus, you experience them not as catchphrases, but as the lifeblood pumping through the K-State community. The university’s influence can especially be felt in Aggieville, a sixblock area of Manhattan consisting of shops, restaurants and bars that cater to the college-age crowd. While Kansas State is a large influence on the town, it is certainly not the only one. The location of Fort Riley just 27 miles west of Manhattan means that the town is shaped by a military presence as well. Source
About ten miles north of I-70, the interstate that bisects Kansas from Kansas City to Colorado, you find yourself in “The Little Apple”, the town of Manhattan, Kansas.
Where massive herds of bison once roamed the range, munching on native prairie grasses of the Flint Hills and cooling off in the Kansas River, Manhattan was established by settlers in 1850. Sponsored by the New England Emigrant Aid Company, they arrived in northeastern Kansas and named the town in honor of the larger, better-known city back east. To its east is Fort Riley, an Army post originally established to protect settlers traveling westward on the Oregon, California, and Santa Fe Trails. In more recent history, Fort Riley was home to the 1st Infantry Division, or as it’s better known, the Big Red One.
Big Apple– From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
“The Big Apple” is a nickname for New York City. It was first popularized in the 1920s by John J. Fitz Gerald, a sports writer for the New York Morning Telegraph. Its popularity since the 1970s is due in part to a promotional campaign by the New York tourist authorities.
Origin of the name “The Big Apple” for Manhattan, NY
Although the history of Big Apple was once thought a mystery,[1] a clearer picture of the term’s history has emerged due to the work of historian Barry Popik,[2] and Gerald Cohen of the Missouri University of Science and Technology.[3] A number of false theories had previously existed,[4] including a claim that the term derived from a woman named Eve who ran a brothel in the city.[5] This was subsequently exposed as a hoax.[6][5]
The earliestknown usage of “big apple” appears in the book The Wayfarer in New York (1909), in which Edward S. Martin writes:
“Kansas is apt to see in New York a greedy city … It inclines to think that the big apple gets a disproportionate share of the national sap.[7][8]“
William Safire considered this the coinage, but because the phrase is not quoted in the text, it is likely that it was used as a metaphor, and not as a nickname for the city.[9]
(Interesting reference. I wonder why Kansas in this context?)
Horse racing origin
The Big Apple was popularized as a name for New York City by John J. Fitz Gerald in a number of horse-racing articles for the New York Morning Telegraph in the 1920s after hearing African-American stable hands use the term to refer to New York’s horse race tracks.[10] The earliest of these was a casual reference on 3 May 1921:
J. P. Smith, with Tippity Witchet and others of the L. T. Bauer string, is scheduled to start for “the big apple” to-morrow after a most prosperous Spring campaign at Bowie and Havre de Grace.[11]
Fitz Gerald referred to the “big apple” frequently thereafter.[12]He explained his use in a column dated February 18, 1924, under the headline “Around the Big Apple”:
The Big Apple. The dream of every lad that ever threw a leg over a thoroughbred and the goal of all horsemen. There’s only one Big Apple. That’s New York.[13][9]
(wait… how is that an explanation?)
Fitz Gerald reportedly first heard “The Big Apple” used to describe New York’s racetracks by two African American stable hands at the New Orleans Fair Grounds.[14][9] Using racing records, Popik traced that conversation to January 1920.[9]
In recognition of Fitz Gerald’s role in promulgating “The Big Apple” as a nickname for New York City, in 1997 Mayor Rudy Giuliani signed legislation designating as “Big Apple Corner” the southwest corner of West 54th Street and Broadway, the corner on which John J. Fitz Gerald lived from 1934 to 1963.[15] The Hotel Ameritania also once had a plaque which was installed in 1996, according to Popik, but it was removed during renovations to the building and was lost.[9]
Evidence can also be found in the Chicago Defender, an African-American newspaper that had a national circulation. Writing for the Defender on September 16, 1922, “Ragtime” Billy Tucker used the name “big apple” to refer to New York in a non-horse-racing context:
I trust your trip to ‘the big apple’ (New York) was a huge success and only wish that I had been able to make it with you.[16]
Tucker had also earlier used “big apple” as a reference to Los Angeles. It is possible that he simply used “big apple” as a nickname for any large city:
Dear Pal, Tony: No, Ragtime Billy Tucker hasn’t dropped completely out of existence, but is still in the ‘Big Apple’, Los Angeles.[16]
Ok, we know that Horse Racing was first invented as a way to honor the god’s. I believe it was Poseidon/Neptune/Dagon the marine-god. If “The Big Red” was a reference to horseracing it turns out that could be the reason for Manhattan, Kansas as well.
Established in 1887 at the now defunct Morris Park Racetrack, the Manhattan Handicap (sometimes referred to as the Manhattan Stakes) is a Grade I race open to older horses ages 4 years and up. Records have shown that over its 128-year history, the Manhattan Handicap has been run at a variety of lengths before settling at its current distance of 1-¼ miles. Between 1898 and 1908, the race was run at its shortest distance of ¾ of a mile (6 furlongs). At its longest, the race was run at 1-5/8th miles (13 furlongs) for 4 years, once in 1959 and between 1965 and 1967.
JOHNNY KAW
In Manhattan City Park, a paved path encircles the green space, and in the southeast corner, you can’t miss the 25-foot statue of Johnny Kaw. Created by a horticultural professor, Dr. Filinger, at K-State in 1955, this fictional Johnny was a larger-than-life character who dug the Kansas River Valley, invented sunflowers, and controlled the weather.
Fun Fact: Johnny Kaw had two pets, a wildcat (like the K-State mascot) and a jayhawk (like the University of Kansas mascot). The twoscrapped constantly, and in one of Dr. Filinger’s stories about Johnny Kaw, he described the Dust Bowl as the result of their fighting.
While The Big Apple has Central Park, The Little Apple has the Flint Hills. Atop these rolling hills full of flinty limestone and smooth shale sits the largest remaining area of unplowed tallgrass prairie in North America. In town, you can visit the Flint Hills Discovery Center, an interactive science museum that explains the uniqueness of the Flint Hills. Or, you can go beyond the city limits and discover the Flint Hills first hand by hiking the 2.6 mile (4.2 km) Source: The Everyday Wanderer
The Manhattan Hill letters date back to 1927 when the local Kiwanis Club raised $100 to plant the original Manhattan letters on Bluemont Hill.
Locally known as “Manhattan Hill” this is a favorite spot to escape to. The letters date back to 1927 when the local Kiwanis club raised $100 to plant the letters.
Over the years the local Kiwanis Club has maintained the hill. Twice a yearthe members whitewash the letters to keep the sign gleaming on the hillside. In 2019, the members of the Kiwanis Club made a massive improve with a new viewing platform. The platform is now ADA accessible and provides a much safer platform for visitors to take in the view.
The new platform made the viewing area much safer for all visitors as well as adding ADA accessibly.
Manhattan Hill also has a hiking trail for those looking for an additional place to explore and several picnic tables for visitors. People enjoy the picnic tables on nice days as a place to take in the scenery and some vitamin D!
For those curious, the Manhattan Hill also overlooks the City of Manhattan, KS water storage stationthat is right off of Tuttle Creek BLVD. It is not far away from the Bluemont playground for those looking to enjoy a day outside.

A longstanding community service project of Tau Beta Pi is the upkeep and cleaning of K-Hill. Each fall since 1974, members have spent a morning clearing brush, picking up trash and whitewashing the iconic concrete “K” and “S” letters south of Manhattan on the west side of Highway 177.
On May 19, 1921, all engineering freshmen and juniors were excused from classes and gathered in Aggieville at 7:30 a.m., along with wagon teams to haul water and a marching band composed entirely of engineers to serenade the group en route to the construction site. The morning workers prepared materials and set the forms for the “K.” That afternoon, sophomore and senior engineering students left classes to reinforce the letter and pour concrete. With the help of other volunteers as well, the letter was completed the following day.
Construction costs for the 80 x 60 x one-foot-deep letter were $350. Anchored by concrete lugs and reinforced with wire netting, the original construction used 210 sacks of cement and nearly 50 cubic yards of sand. The concrete was whitewashed and lined with luminous paint, with the bronze star set into the center of the “K.”
Students were enthusiastic to add an “S” to the hill immediately, but nearly 10 years passed before the Sigma Tau Engineering Honorary Society began organizing this phase of the project. Costs this time were estimated at $500, and after major efforts — including sponsoring tag days, movies and boxing matches, and seeking donations from everyone from faculty to businessmen, and even $125 from the General Engineering Seminar treasury — the money was raised and the “S” was erected on May 10, 1930.

In the following years it became tradition for engineering students to hike Mt. Prospect to whitewash the letters. In later years Sigma Tau took over maintenance of the letters, and in the 1970s the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honorary Society was formed and resumed care of the hill.
Siouan people of the American Midwest, 1806, from French, a variant of Kansa (itself in English from 1722), from /kká:ze, a Siouan term referring to members of the Dhegiha branch of the Siouan family. Compare Arkansas. The Siouan word is a plural. Established as a U.S. territory in 1854 and named for the river, which is named for the people; admitted as a state 1861. Related: Kansan; Kansian, used by Whitman and a few others, seems not to have thrived.
organized as a U.S. territory 1819, admitted as a state 1836; it was named for the Arkansas River, which was named for a Siouan tribe.
The spelling of the term represents a French plural, Arcansas, of a name applied to the Quapaw people who lived on the Arkansas River; their name was also written in early times as Akancea, Acansea, Acansa (Dickinson, 1995). This was not the name used by the Quapaws themselves, however. The term /akansa/ was applied to them by Algonquian speakers; this consists of /a-/, an Algonquian prefix found in the names of ethnic groups, plus /kká:ze, a Siouan term referring to members of the Dhegiha branch of the Siouan family. This stem is also the origin for the name of the Kansa tribe and of the state of Kansas; thus the placenames Arkansas and Kansas indirectly have the same origin. [William Bright, “Native American Placenames of the United States,” 2004]
The silent final –s, perhaps originally from the French pronunciation, was made official in 1881by an act of the state legislature.
Algonquin people are an Indigenous people of Eastern Canada. They speak the Algonquin language, a divergent dialect of the Ojibwe language, which is part of the Algonquian language family. Culturally and linguistically, they are closely related to the Odawa, Potawatomi, Ojibwe, and Oji-Cree, with whom they form the larger Anicinàpe (Anishinaabeg). The Algonquin people call themselves …
The Algonquian Native Americans are the most extensive and numerous North American groups with hundreds of original tribes speaking several related dialects of the language group, Algonkian. They lived in most of the Canadian territory below the Hudson Bay and between the Atlantic Ocean and the Rocky Mountains. The term “Algonquian” refers to “A place for spearing fishes and eels.” Because Northern weather patterns made growing food difficult, the Algonquian moved their families from place to place to fish, hunt, trap, and gather roots, seeds, wild rice, and berries. They trekked on foot and with canoes made of birch bark in warm weather, then used snowshoes and toboggans in snowy weather. Their garments, as well as their shelters, known as wigwams, were fashioned with skins. They were also occasionally sheathed with birch bark. The Algonquian men were the leaders and the heads of the family and sons inherited territorial hunting rights from their fathers. The shaman, or medicine man, occupied an influential position in Algonquian social life. It was assumed he could heal sick persons and traffic with the spirit world, whose consituents were a great spirit, lesser spirits who controlled the elements, evil spirits responsible for illness and misfortune, and benevolent spirits who purveyed good luck and health. The shaman was also consulted as a dream interpreter, since the Algonquian found great significance in dreams. They believed also in an afterlife where human spirits pursued animal spirits. Furthermore, they were believers in witchcraft and were quite reluctant to disclose their actual names, fearing that enemies with spiritual powers would use them with malicious intent. The Algonquian were among the first North American natives to strike alliances with the French, who adopted Algonquian means of travel and terms like “canoe” and “toboggan.” There are presently approximately 8,000 Algonquian living in Canada, organized into 10 separate First Nations; nine are in Quebec and one in Ontario. The Algonquian included also the Delaware, Mohican, Montauk, Munsee, and Wappinger and were centered in the Hudson Valley and on Long Island.
Ok, that is the tale that you are taught. However, most of us who research have discovered that what we were taught in school is not real history. We have learned that there are great ties between the races and that the DRUIDS/Magicians have been the ruling class throughout history. They keep the people in the dark. So that they appear to be “enlightened”. This history of the Algonquins is worth the time it takes to read it.

In some parts of continental Europe it appears the seeds of darnel have the reputation of causing intoxication in men, beasts, and birds, the effects being sometimes so violent as to produce convulsions. In Scotland the name of Sleepies, is applied to darnel, from the seeds causing narcotic effects. Whoever it was that conjured up the Manhattan, the classic potion that calls for skillfully integrating American whiskey—straight rye was probably the spirit of choice in the 19th century, though bourbon is quite acceptable today—with sweet vermouth and aromatic bitters, came up with a drink that is truly glorious.
MANHATTAN COCKTAIL. Manhattan is atrue classic cocktail that has not changed since it was invented in the late 1800s, in New York City. The original recipe called for a mixture of American rye whiskey, sweet Italian vermouth, and a dash of bitters.
This cocktail is easy to prepare, quick, and surprisingly tasty. Featuring the spiciness of rye whiskey cut with orange liqueur, sweet vermouth, and lime juice, it is a sort of hybrid of the Manhattan and sidecar. Though a bit unusual, you’ll find it to be a surprisingly delightful drink.
These days, rye is perfectly in its element in classic cocktails like the old-fashioned and the manhattan. It’s also absolutely vital in a Sazerac (among the most supernaturally alluring of drinks, frequently a bartender’s favorite), my first choice for a stone fence and a supremely compatible sidekick for an ice-cold bottle of beer. Sweet it’s not, but it’s really not so tough, either.
Genuine, fun-loving people across the globe have been enjoying Sazerac spirits together with friends for centuries. Join the party and discover the universal appeal of a finely-poured drink, from Paris to New Orleans. The Sazerac was crowned the official cocktail of New Orleans in 2008, a designation more suited to marketers than drink mixers. The original Sazerac called for infamous absinthe (which I think can be had these days legally) and rye whiskey.

The Sazerac is a stiff drink. Its skeleton is that of a classic whiskey cocktail—booze, bitters, sugar, and water—but its bulk is far more substantial. The Sazerac is a beast of many flavors, born in the New Orleans bar scene in the 19th Century and washed in absinthe. On top of rye whiskey and the green anise spirit, it calls for Angostura bitters, Peychaud’s bitters, and sugar, and is generally unrelenting in its herbal tones, like an Old Fashioned with something to prove. Speaking of, it takes two Old Fashioned glasses to make it properly. Source: Esquire
You should also know by now that alcohol, beer and wine were invented and employed in order to worship/honor/appease/and commune with the gods. The fallen ones. The Fallen Angels taught humans many things. Including fermenting, adorning the body with makeup and jewelry, mixing of the DNA, making and using weapons, using plants medicinally/pharmacea, banking and money, art and philosophy. In other words, just about everything has been corrupted by their teaching. Their teachings have been handed down by the elites/priestly class/scholars/artists througout history.

So, now we know a little bit about Manhattan, Kansas. The reason for all that was to give you some insight as to why this particular location has been chosen for the National Bio and Agro-Devense Facility, under the Auspices of the USDA but funded, controlled and manipulated by the Department of Defense. It will bring about the destruction of our livestock and thereby our demise.
Officials from the USDA and the Department of Homeland Security have signed a Memorandum of Agreementthat formally outlines how the departments will transfer ownership and operational responsibility for the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility from DHS’ Science and Technology Directorate to USDA.
The agreement was signed by USDA Under Secretary for Marketing and Regulatory Programs Greg Ibach, USDA Deputy Under Secretary for Research, Education, and Economics Scott Hutchins and DHS Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Under Secretary for Science and Technology William Bryan.
When completed, NBAF will be a biosafety level-4 laboratory in Manhattan, Kan., for the study of diseases that threaten both U.S. agriculture and public health.
Under the terms of the memorandum, DHS retains responsibility for completing construction and commissioning of the $1.25 billion facility, while USDA will assume responsibility for all operational planning and eventual operation of the facility. DHS’ efforts are on schedule and on budget to complete construction in December 2020 and to complete commissioning in May 2021, when ownership of NBAF will be formally transferred to USDA.
“It’s a real honor for USDA to have the operational stewardship of NBAF. We look forward to working with Members of Congress, our private sector partners, and our academic partners in this areaas we take over operations. USDA will make this a facility that America can be proud of,” says U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue.
“NBAF will be the first facility in the United States with maximum biocontainment, BSL-4 labs, where we can develop vaccines and diagnostics for high-consequence animal diseases – including those that can also affect human health,” Ibach says. “These expanded capabilities will enable us to be more dynamic and flexible in responding to disease threats—wherever they come from, whatever they look like.”
“All security starts with food security,” Hutchins says. “Few countries have as successful a history of protecting agriculture and their food supply from both intentional and unintentional threats as does the United States – with NBAF, we are doubling-down on this mission. This will be a unique, state-of-the-art national security assetwhere we will practice state-of-the-science research to avert and address critical bio-risks to U.S. agriculture.”
“The DHS/USDA partnership on NBAF extends back to the initial planning in 2006. That partnership has remained throughout the DHS-led acquisition process and will endure after USDA initiates operation of the facility,” says DHS’ Bryan. “The capabilities provided by NBAF are critical in the ongoing efforts to protect the nation’s food supply, and agriculture economy. As noted by the National Academies of Science in a 2012 review of the NBAF Program, the NBAF design provides the ‘ideal functionality’ to address the stated mission needs.” (Ya, but they don’t tell you is that the mission’s end is the destruction of our food supply and the death of millions of people.)
The state-of-the-art NBAF facility will replace the aging Plum Island Animal Disease Center in New York. The Manhattan site strategically places it near the largest concentration of animal health companies in the world, providing access to important veterinary, agricultural and biosecurity research and expertise.
Also released at today’s event was a document outlining USDA’s strategic vision for NBAF. It summarizes how NBAF will serve as a national biosecurity asset to protect human and animal health, food safety and the ag economy. (They will protect humanity by killing millions of people and all the C02 producing animals, and they will protect the wealth of the billionaires behind the project, that is the economy they are concerned about.)

There is a reason so many issues, events, agendas, and changes in our national persepective are generated from College Campuses. Colleges and Universities began with the DRUIDS.
The National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) is a planned United States government-run research facility that will replace the 1950s-era Plum Island Animal Disease Center in New York, which is “nearing the end of its lifecycle and is too small to meet the nation’s research needs.” The NBAF will be operated under the authority of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agriculture Research Service (USDA-ARS) and Animal Plant Health Inspection Service, Veterinary Services (USDA-APHIS-VS) as primary research partners.Wikipedia
In 2005, the Department of Homeland Security announced plans to replace the old Plum Island Animal Disease Center off Long Island with a facility on the U.S. mainland to study Foot and Mouth Disease and other dangerous pathogens. Kansas won the job in 2008,with a site on the campus of Kansas State University in Manhattan. But today, more than three years later, the proposed $1.14billion National Bio- and Agro-Defense Facility faces funding obstacles, safety questions, rising costs and political fallout. For Kansas and the Midwest, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Here you’ll find coverage and updates from Harvest Public Media, KCUR and Kansas Public Media.
After years of environmental and safety reviews, Congress approved final funding for the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility in Manhattan, Kansas this year. And last week, a who’s who of the power elitegathered for a ceremonial groundbreaking. Two cabinet secretaries, most of the Kansas Congressional delegation, military personnel and several state lawmakers joined the Kansas Lt. Governor and Gov. Sam Brownback, who had been wooing NBAF for more than a decade.
“NBAF is finally here!” Brownback shouted to the cheers of an ecstatic crowd.
U.S. Senator Pat Roberts had proposed the idea of making Kansas State University a hub of agro-terrorism research before the 9/11 terrorist attacks. In his remarks, Roberts said the state won NBAF on its merits, and that it would have a huge impact of the state’s economy.
“This lab is the realization of all we hope for,” Roberts said. “(It is) opportunity … and the preservation of our rural way of life.”
For a small but vocal group of those who oppose the lab, the occasion was a sobering reminder that the project was actually going to be built, whether they were ready or not.
Local sculptor Sylvia Beeman, who is also a master-level biologist and an entomologist, says she accepts the project is coming, but isn’t necessarily ready for a potential outbreak of any contagious, incurable pathogens that will be studied there.
Credit Laura Ziegler / KCUR
Sylvia Beeman lives in Manhattan and has opposed NBAF since it was first discussed almost ten years ago.
“Just never wanting to think about the unfortunate ramifications that could happen,” she says.
It was a long and hard-fought effort to win the lab, which will be the only one of its kind capable of studying exotic foreign diseases in large animalsand will replace the aging facility on Plum Island off the coast of New York. (Surely everyone is aware of all the horror stories and the shroud of secrecy that have existed in connection to the Plum Island facility for years.)
But biosecurity labs have proliferated since 9/11, and with so many labs around the country, experts worry about the difficulty of keeping all of them safe.
Perhaps of most concern to NBAF critics: Live anthrax was mistakenly sent out of a top-security Defense Department lab toat least 51 other labs in 17 states earlier this year. After a similar mistake last year at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention aneditorial in the journal Naturewarned, “If an accident can happen at the CDC, then it can happen anywhere.
Then the question becomes, how can Manhattan prepare?
Brenda Nickel with the health department in Riley County, where NBAF is located, says they routinely do “table-top” exercises — mock disasters — to define best practices for how to respond to real disasters. And while local officials may not be specifically trained in the lethal diseases studied at NBAF, she’s confident information about them is readily available. (THEY ARE PRACTICING SYMPATHETIC MAGICK, THESE “REHEARSALS ARE ACTUALLY RITUALS TO CALL THESE DISASTERS INTO BEING)
“I would say that any of the health providers may not have expertise in those areas, but we have multiple resources at the click of a computer mouse,” she says.
But it’s not easy to find evidence that Manhattan is prepared for the potentially catastrophic results of an accident or terrorist event at NBAF.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment website thoroughly addresses many common infectious diseases, but not the exotic ones NBAF will study. There’s a substantial section on Ebola, for example, but scientists at NBAF most likely will not be researching it. An online search of infectious disease doctors in Manhattan reveals the name of just one.
KCUR’s efforts to talk to someone at the main hospital – Via Christi — about its response plans resulted in multiple conversations and emails, but the hospital was ultimately unable to provide a spokesperson for comment.
Brad Fenwick, a Washington D.C.-based doctor of both veterinary medicine and comparative pathology and a leader in biosecurity research, says when designing a response plan for a possible outbreak, it’s imperative the process be transparent, the public be aware, and everyone be prepared for the worst possible situation.
“For example, if there is a release … Manhattan will likely be quarantined,” he says. “Roadblocks on I-70 and all the associated roads coming in, with state troopers there. So imagine a football weekend, kids in the dorms, no families in, no people out. That’s the worst-case scenario with this type of thing.”
NBAF opponent Sylvia Beeman says that, over the years, she’s gone to the Department of Homeland Security public hearings and met with state and university officials for assurances they are on top of this kind of potential catastrophe. Most recently, she talked to city officials.
“I wanted the city to think about (how) they had a responsibility to our community and not just put their blind faith in someone else taking care of us,” she says. “And they seemed very interested in hearing what I had to say and they told me to come back in five years and remind them.”
To be fair, federal officials say the lab will be under construction for five years. Then, in 2020, they plan to spend at least two years developing the protocols for what to do in the event that dangerous pathogens are released.

Long before COVID-19 put the CDC front and center in news broadcasts around the country, plans to construct the most advanced High Containment Continuity Laboratory (HCCL) in the country had already been finalized.
The new, 160,000-sf facility will be part of the CDC’s 2025 Masterplanat the Roybal Campus in Atlanta. The multi-story research building will increase the CDC’s research capacity to sustain its diagnostic mission and support its public health mission by helping communities prepare for, detect, and respond to consequences of public health hazards. The HCCL building will be a Biosafety Level-4 (BSL-4) facility and accommodate approximately 80 laboratory researchers.
As a BSL-4 facility, the project will feature high-efficiency particulate air filtered supply and exhaust air, air pressure resistant doors, pressure cascade zoning, effluent collection and treatment, pressure decay tested coatings and penetrations, and high purity breathing air and chemical decontamination showers for research staff. The new facility will connect with the existing Roybal Campus utility systems with below grade utility tunnels and a two-level bridge connection.
After completion, the HCCL will be one of three facilities in the world designed and certified to facilitate diagnostic research on specific, select viruses. The project is currently in the reconstruction/design phase with construction planned to begin in early 2021. Flad Architects, Page Southerland Page, and WSP will plan, program, and design the HCCL with McCarthy Building Companies as Construction Manager as constructor (CMc). HERA lead programming for the HCCL and is a part of the overall design effort.
Thirteenyears after building the state-of-the-art lab for the world’s most dangerous germs, the nation’s top public health agency is asking for more than $400 million to build a new one. CDC is asking Congress for the money. Its officials say the current lab building in Atlanta is quickly wearing down, and cannot be upgraded without shutting down the facility for years. (Center for Disease Control and Prevention via AP)
When someone tells you that a thirteen-year old facility is quickly wearing down and needs to be replaced, you may or may not listen. When that facility contains dangerous and deadly viruses such as Ebola, smallpox and novel strains of the flu, such a request kind of gets your attention. (In general, any request with the word Ebola should get attention.)
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is now asking Congress for over $400 million (about $350 million for the lab and $50 million for related work) to build a new high security building to house the world’s deadliest pathogens. As the Associated Press reported, when the current facility, which cost $214 million to build, opened in 2005, HDR Inc., the architecture firm that help design the building, predicted that it would last 50 years. Looks like that prediction may fall short by about 32 years, as the CDC has indicated that the building needs to be replaced by 2023, per Helen Branswell writing for STAT.
This is probably not a “we could use a better view, a coffee shop, or some nicer carpeting” type of request. This is more likely a “have you ever watched the movies 28 Days or Resident Evil? We need to make sure none of this dangerous bleeping stuff ever leaves these laboratories.” Of course, movies don’t exactly mirror reality. This is not necessarily saying that an apocalypse would occur. There is no human zombie virus that I am aware of, and Milla Jovovich does not work in a bio-containment laboratory or have superpowers (as far as I know). However, should a virus like smallpox get outside the laboratory and roam free in a population that has never been exposed to the virus and is not vaccinated against it, very bad stuff could result. Moreover, such laboratories can be targets of terrorist attacks or thefts and therefore must have very stringent security.

BSL-1: Here the microbes (such as E. coli) do not tend to cause disease in healthy adults and are minimal risks to laboratory personnel. The lab should maintain standard precautions and common sense (e.g., don’t lick the Petri dishes or store your sandwiches in microbe containers). Lab personnel can conduct work on open lab benches or tables and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as lab coats, gloves, and eye protection when needed. The lab should have sinks available for hand washing and doors to separate the working space from the rest of the facility. (Any lab that does not have doors is a bad sign.)
BSL-2: These labs handle microbes that tend to be a bit more dangerous and cause disease but are still relatively common (indigenous) such as Staphylococcus aureus. The laboratory should have everything that the BSL-1 labs have plus restricted access when work is being conducted, self-closing doors, easily accessible sinks and eyewash stations, and autoclaves or alternative methods to adequately decontaminate equipment or materials. Personnel should wear PPE such as lab coats and gloves whenever working as well as eye protection and face shields when needed. Whenever there is a risk of splashes or vapors, personnel should work within a biological safety cabinet (BSC).
BSL-3: Such labs work with microbes that can cause serious harm or death and be transmitted through the air such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the bad bacteria that causes tuberculosis (TB). In addition to having all the requirements of BSL-2 labs, BSL-3 laboratories must have restricted and controlled access, hands-free sinks and eyewash stations near each exit, an air flow system that does not re-circulate air but instead directs air from the clean areas towards potentially contaminated areas (otherwise you risk blowing critters out to clean areas), and entrances that include two sets of self-closing and locking doors. Lab personnel must remain under careful medical surveillance to catch any sign of disease early, have necessary immunizations including against pathogens that they are working with, wear appropriate PPE at all times including potentially respirators, and perform all work with microbes within an appropriate BSC.
BSL-4: These labs work with the most dangerous and exotic microbes such as Ebola and Marburg viruses. In this case, exotic is not a good thing. Of course, all of the requirements for BSL-3 apply. Additionally, BSL-4 laboratories must be in separate building or at least in a very isolated and restricted portion of a building, include its own dedicated air supply and exhaust system, and have extensive vacuum lines and decontamination systems. Lab personnel have to always change clothing before entering the lab, shower and decontaminate everything whenever they exit the lab, and perform all work either within an appropriate Class III BSC or while wearing a full body, air-supplied, positive pressure suit.
Here’s a video on BSC’s (OK, the video may not be the most exciting that you’ve seen but it is informative):
You may ask why the heck do some of these labs exist? Why play with microbes that are potentially very, very dangerous? Some have argued that all samples of very dangerous microbes should be destroyed before they get into the wrong hands, or noses or faces. (Or as we have seen that can develop method for undermining our natural defenses, a method for injecting nanotech into our bloodstream, and a germ that can meet their goal of 90% population reduction.) It’s a bit like Superman and Supergirl wondering why the DEO is still keeping Kryptonite around. However, experimenting with these microbes can help scientists develop vaccines, medications, and other treatments against these pathogens and the diseases that they cause. Such studies may also provide other scientific insights that can ultimately help humanity. For example, some viruses may ultimately be helpful in combating diseases such as cancer.
While any budget request, building design, and contractors should be scrutinized, scrimping on protecting the public in the long run is not going to worthwhile. If experts feel that the current building has issues that cannot be thoroughly fixed without jeopardizing important work, then a new building would be worthwhile. As I have written previously for Forbes, Bill Gates and others have warned of a bad epidemic in the future that could kill millions. Fortunately, there are dedicated scientists willing to experiment with deadly critters to help human kind. It’s only fair to give them the protection that they and the rest of society need. After all, it could take only one building flaw to cost our society lives and millions or even billions of dollars, without a Milla Jovovich character around to save us.
The terms for handing off the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility in Manhattan, Kansas, have been settled — even as the billion-dollar-plus research site remains under construction.
In the agreement signed this week, the Department of Homeland Security remains responsible for completing construction of the state-of-the-art research facility. But it will hand over the job of running the place to the U.S. Department of Agriculture when construction wraps up. That’s expected at the end of 2020.
DHS has been responsible for the project since its inception, but the research arms of the USDA have always been heavily involved in planning. The USDA was always going to be overseeing research at the facility — if not its actual operation — even before the idea of taking over operations completely was requested in President Donald Trump’s 2019 budget proposal.
Now the USDA won’t be a tenant, it’ll be the landlord.
“The roles of the research people does not change,” DHS NBAF Coordinator Tim Barr said. “The security setting does not change. The relationships that exist with the FBI and other entities, that does not change at all.”
NBAF is intended to be a world-class animal disease research facility and will ultimately be the only location in the U.S. where scientists will study live foot-and-mouth disease in livestock. (Easier to control the required secrecy if you control who has access to the truth. One facility overseen by the FBI AND OTHER ENTITIES guarantees the level of protection for their OCCULT Activities.)
The BSL-4 laboratory will allow researchers to study deadly zoonotic diseases — those that are highly contagious and can spread between humans and animals— that don’t have any known vaccinations or treatments.
NBAF will be replacing the aging Plum IslandAnimal Disease Center in New York. (The NIGHTMARE CONTINUES)
The USDA recently opened up an office in Manhattan to begin recruiting potential employees.
“A facility like this allows us to bring those people in, do the work that we need to do and be more prepared to stand-up operationally when we move into the NBAF facility,” said Ken Burton, USDA’s NBAF coordinator.
He said the agency would like to have 80% of the workforce needed for NBAF hired by the end of 2020.
The USDA expects to need as many as 400employees once the facility is completely up and running at the end of 2022.

Building the nation’s first large-animal research and diagnostic facility with maximum biocontainment capability during a pandemic comes with some challenges. The team standing up the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility, or NBAF, being built in Manhattan, Kansas, took those challenges in stride and continues working to make the best of them.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Science & Technology Directorate, or DHS S&T, is building the state-of-the-art facility to standards that fulfill USDA’s mission. Once construction and commissioning activities are complete, USDA will own and operate the facility. Construction progress remained on schedule until about April 2020, when COVID-related disruptions affected labor and material availability. To minimize delays to the overall program, the USDA and the DHS S&T collaborated to realign NBAF’s schedule, which was announced in December 2020.
NBAF’s new milestones:
Substantial completion of construction is projected for October 2021. This is the point where USDA will have full access to the facility and will be responsible for its operations.
Completion of commissioning is projected for December 2021.
Full operating capability is projected for September 2023.
Transfer of the mission from Plum Island Animal Disease Center to NBAF is projected for December 2023.
Currently, the mission transfer is only projected to be delayed about 4 months from the original schedule — a big accomplishment that is a result of many people working together in the best interest of NBAF. As part of the schedule realignment, USDA and DHS S&T worked together to make key decisions regarding the timing of certain tasks.
As Tim Barr, NBAF program manager for DHS, said, “This is a technically and managerially complex program, and the joint agency collaboration in the best interest of the NBAF mission is remarkable. It is a testament to the abilities of the leadership and staff at USDA and DHS involved in the NBAF program.”
For example, the “substantial completion of construction” milestone now includes efforts that would have been executed after USDA took ownership. These efforts address necessary technology upgrades identified since the design was completed in 2012 as well as installation of USDA-funded equipment, which minimize further delays to the overall program. It has also been proposed for USDA to take phased responsibility for some operational functions of the facility starting in April 2021.
Another challenge over the past year has been adjusting to maximum teleworkand continuing to hire new NBAF team members under these interesting conditions. As of early January, 88 of the 275operations team employees onboarded — many even interviewed — through teleconferencing technology.
While challenges may remain, DHS S&T continues to project that the construction and commissioning of NBAF under the new revised schedule can be covered within the current $1.25 billion estimated cost.—By Stephanie Jacques, NBAF Office of Communications.

The progression of this facilty from beginning until present in pictures:
The 46.828-acre NBAF site is on the north end of the KSU main campus. When the Manhattan site was selected in 2009 after a 3-year national competition, there were animal facilities on the site that had to be removed prior to NBAF site preparation as can be seen below. KSU’s biocontainment facility, the Biosecurity Research Institute (BRI) at Pat Roberts Hall (PRH), is adjacent to the NBAF site. Notably, in 1908, the KSU College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) began producing antisera for hog cholera (a.k.a. classical swine fever; CSF) on Serum Plant Road(crossing the NBAF site below); CSF is one of the foreign animal diseases projected to be worked on in NBAF. KSU research on CSF was reinitiated in the BRI in 2015. Three other NBAF diseases are also being worked on in the BRI; Rift Valley fever (RVF) beginning in 2013, Japanese encephalitis (JE) in 2014, and African swine fever (ASF) in 2016.
NBAF site preparation work began in 2010and continued through 2012. Construction on the first phase of NBAF commenced in 2013and the old feed mill on the site was removed that year as well. In 2014, the Kansas Department of Agriculture (KDA) relocated from Topeka to KSU Research Park on Manhattan Avenue east of the NBAF site.
After full, final funding for NBAF was appropriated in 2015, excavation for the remainder of NBAF construction began in July, and was completed in December 2015. Four tower cranes were erected and concrete work began on the final 5-years of construction as well.
By November 2016, concrete work below ground was nearing completion and concrete work above ground had commenced as shown in the photo below.
NBAF construction advanced significantly over the next year. Two towercranes were taken down in November 2017; one in February 2018; and the last one in April 2018.
The most recent construction photos (2019 and 2020) are below.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION:
Troy, Rome, Athens
Ignore the bluelines. I was using Google Maps to find the locations. The yellow lines are my effort to show the Triangles formed by connecting the cities Rome, Troy and Athens in the two locations.
Note that it is a straight line from Columbia Kansas to Columbia, Missouri. Also note that Manhattan is right along that trail. Mt. Columbia, Colorado/Columbia, Kansas/Manhattan, Kansas/Columbia, Missouri/Columbia, Ohio/Washington, District of Columbia
They are all right on the Interstate 70/76. Interstate 70 converges with Interstate 76 in Columbus, Ohio. This is basically a line straight through the heart of our nation!
If you have not seen the following posts, now would be a good time to review them:
Bearing in mind that St. Columba is the reason for everything named Columbia, and that he was a direct descendent of the Druid most venerated line and a High Druid who became a monk, you must be aware that everything about the name is mystical/magickal and PAGAN. Honoring Pagan gods is honoring Satan/the Devil/the Adversary. How does mankind honor/worship their idols? By naming places and people after them, by erecting statues/idols, by reverencing their names.
Here is another interesting map.
These are not all the OCCULT locations in the US by any means… but I found them all very significant for this study. These are all locations publicly known by these
If you look at all the states south and east of Kansas along both sides of the route shown, you will find that they all have cities in them named Rome, Troy and Athens, forming a triangle within each state. No such thing exists in Colorado. I have not looked at any more of the Western states for that particular configuration. Check it out for yourself.

When I was first researching for this post, I found information that showed that Kansas was populated and influenced by Dutch immigrants. I did not want to go too deep into that in this post, but I have included a little information. Here is a picture of the Dutch monarchy’s crest, it is relavent because it has something in common wit the State of Kansas.

Here are some excerpts from a story that was written about the Dutch settlers in Kansas. I would take it with a grain of salt, but it is very interesting. The rest of the story can be found by clicking the link in the Title. At least this gives you clear proof that the Dutch did settle there and did build up quite a deal of a presence and influence there. Now, I left the part about their search for religious freedom, because it does show why people came to America. You have to realize that every relgious group believes they have the truth. That matters not. What is important here is to know they came and why they came, and the value of our freedom.
Hollanders in Kansas by Conrad Vandervelde The Netherlands were a long way from Kansas when Hollanders reached the state in the late 1860’s and early 1870’s. The high, dry, dust-blown and fire-swept prairies and the long unmarked trails were in sharp contrast to the canals and waterways which lapped front steps of their houses in the old country. Few Hollanders came directly to Kansas from their native land; for many the arrival in this state was a second or third step on their way to a realization of their hope. Therefore, we need to glance back over their whole course. Variously called Netherlanders, Hollanders, and Dutch. In their language the country is called “Noderland,” the “below land.” Two provinces are North and South Holland. From these provinces the name Hollander is probably derived. The main language of the Netherlands is Holland, but each of the eight other provinces has its own slightly different dialect. The term “Dutch” is to be distinguished from the term “Deutsch,” used to mean German. In this story the term “Netherlander” is used in referring to the people in their native land. The terms “Hollander” and “Dutch” are used interchangeably as the sound of the sentence and the whim of the writer may suggest. HOLLANDERS IN THE UNITED STATES Hollanders in the United States as a whole were always a minor national group in comparison with other nationalities. The record of the number of European immigrants to the United States from 1820 to 1949 shows but 265,000 from Netherlands, whereas there were during the same period over 6,000,000 from Germany, over 4,500,000 from Italy and also from Ireland, over 3,500,000 from Russia, 2,750,000 from England, 2,500,000 from the Scandinavian countries, and from Greece about 400,000. Holland immigrants ranked about eighteenth in number. The census of 1860 lists 28,281 Netherland-born citizens in the United States; there were only 45 in Kansas at that time. The number of Kansas born in Netherlands rose to 906 in 1910, but declined to 513 in 1930 and to 262 in 1950, the last census date for which this item has been calculated. What this nationality in both the United States and in Kansas lacked in Holland-born population was made up in the size of the families these people had. Human, biological, and Dutch nature multiplied the number of Hollanders in both Phillips and Smith counties where Holland-owned farm joined Holland-owned arm for miles. Loyalty to the church in which the Holland ” language was long retained kept the group together and encouraged in-group marriage. MOTIVES FOR EMIGRATION Religious interests were dominant and lay deep in the hearts and in the history of the Dutch. Religious motivation was primary in every movement, individual and group, which impelled emigrants to leave the over-populated low countries for the newer America with its freedom of worship and its vast unpopulated lands. The migrations to America. which increased in marked degree in the 1840·s. were spiritually impelled by several forms of religious oppression. The traditional spirituality of the Gereformde (Reformed) Church in Netherlands (characterized by devout. puritanic worship and life which denounced dancing. cardplaying. theatres. extravagance in dress and other forms of worldliness) was being replaced by an aristocratic. state-controlled worship. void of sincerity, in what was known as the Herformde (re-organized) Church. The migrations to America centered around two leaders and two colonies: Dominie Albertus C. Van RaaIte. who led his colony to the Black Lake, Holland. Michigan area. and Dominie Henry P. SchoIte, who led his colony to Pella. Iowa.
To the activities and attitudes of- the Re-organized Church in Netherlands,Van RaaIte and Scholte along with others protested without avail. Meetings held by them and their kind. popularly attended. were broken up by police. and the leaders were beaten and fined. Efforts to worship with the use of their devout and rhymed psalms set to music were interrupted. and the worshippers were abused and insulted. Whole congregations finally seceded, led by their deeply determined religious ministers. Economic conditions of the lower classes in Netherlands joined with and re-enforced religious persecution in the late 1840’s to intensify unrest. General poverty and consequent unabated hunger were increased by the potato blight which infested most of the land. Potatoes. supplemented by cabbage and turnips. had replaced wheat bread as the staff of life for the masses. Under these circumstances. optimistic letters from America had a great influence. Hollanders who had gone to the New Country told of the ease of making a living in America, where people ate three meals a day. One immigrant facetiously but convincingly wrote: “Rijk Amerika! De vette farkin lopen hier los met een groote mes in de rug!” CRich America! Fat pigs run around loose with a big knife in the back!” – presumedly available for slicing off bacon!) In 1846 an appeal by Netherlanders was addressed “to the faithful in America,” laying before them their social and economic plight and expressing the hope they might join them in the United States. “Our hearts’ desire and prayer to God is. that in one of these uninhabited regions in America there may be a spot where our people, by the culture of the land . . . may find their temporal conditions secured [and] we would desire that they, settling in the same villages and neighborhoods, may enjoy the privilege of seeing their little ones educated in Christian schools.
The Netherlander’s view was “Here I am hungry, there I shall have enough to eat: here my hands accomplish nothing, there they will help me become a prosperous man; here I cannot clothe myself, there my labor will clothe my entire family.”. . An organization of Netherlanders was formed with emIgration in a group its goal. A fund, raised for the purchase of public lands for the group in America, grew by donations and by assessment upon the members of the organization of a certain number of days’ work. Scouts were given money by the organization to make a preliminary trip across the Atlantic to investigate and report. Their reports were enthusiastic. To be sure, not all discussion of America was optimistic. There were some well-established and well-to-do Netherlanders, fearing a general depletion of their cities and the loss of common workmen, who warned against believing the optimistic reports. They said the stories were told by land promoters and were untrue. But if these warnings deterred some who had no personal friends in America, they could not stay the enthusiasm and purpose of those who had received many letters from their own relatives and former neighbors. KANSAS SETTLEMENTS They came by way of the Black Lake, Michigan, and the Pella, Iowa, areas. In the course of fifteen or twenty years, both the Michigan and the Iowa colonies were crowded and all the land was taken. The Iowa colony became known as the “mother of colonies.” A “Go West” fever struck the Pella community in the latter part of the 1860’s. Reports of available government land in Kansas with high productiveness in wheat and corn induced a group of Pella-ites to found a colony in Zutphen, Ottawa County, about fifteen miles from Salina. The enterprise failed almost immediately, not because of land, but through the poor management by the Pella druggist who had promoted it.
For the time, the interest of other Pella landseekers was directed to Nebraska, where another Holland settlement seemed to be succeeding. However, attention could not be diverted long from promising Kansas. In the early 1870’s a committee of Pella citizens went to Clay County, where some Hollanders had already settled. They reported favorably on soil, water, markets, and timber for building. Although the railroad lines with special excursion trains and the real estate agents of the area tried to promote this movement to Wakefield, the settlement did not grow. The main Dutch settlements in Kansas. Zutphen, Ottawa County, was settled in the late 1860’s but failed almost immediately. Wakefield, Clay County, was investigated by a few Hollanders in the early 1870’s, but nothing ever came of a Dut:h settlement there. Rotterdam (Dispatch), Smith County, was settled around 1870 but grew very little. Lucter, Phillips County, was settled in the late 1870’s but failed to grow much. Prairie View, Phillips County. is at present the main population center of the Hollander descendants in Kansas.

Kansas State Motto
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
“Per aspera ad astra”, from Finland in the Nineteenth Century, 1894
Per aspera ad astra (or, less commonly, ad astra per aspera) is a popular Latin phrase meaning “through hardships to the stars”. The phrase is one of the many Latin sayings that use the expressionad astra, meaning “to the stars”.
The Great Seal of the State of Kansas, along with the motto, Ad Astra per Aspera, was adopted by a Joint Resolution of the first session of the Kansas Legislature on May 25, 1861.
“Ad Astra Per Aspera” has been translated as: “To the Stars Through Difficulties.” John J. Ingalls a lawyer; scholar; orator; statesman; delegate to the Kansas Constitutional Convention; secretary of the Kansas Territorial Council; Kansas State senator; Secretary of State and judge advocate during the Civil War and rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel; and US Senator was responsible for including this motto in the design of the great seal in 1861. While secretary of the State Senate in 1861, at the first session of the Legislature, he submitted a design for a state seal.
Ingalls was born at Middletown, Massachusetts on December 29, 1833, to Elias T. and Eliza Chase Ingalls. John J. Ingalls, an aging Jewish lawyer who had been sent to Atchison by the “Secret Six” … to work the Abolitionist cause. Source:
The false teaching of the “christian-zionist movement” has one central tenet running through all of it’s fake churches and that is the “Scofield Bible.” Most followers of these false churches do not even realize that they are being taught from this Bible because it isn’t sitting in their pews.
Any church who is teaching that the secular state of Israel is a fulfillment of “Biblical prophecy” is lying to you. Be sure to look closely at their foundation to see if they are teaching you this lie of political Zionism.
Central to Christian Zionist belief is Scofield’s commentary (italicized below) on Genesis 12:3: “‘I will bless them that bless thee.’ In fulfillment closely related to the next clause, ‘And curse him that curseth thee.’ Wonderfully fulfilled in the history of the dispersion. It has invariably fared ill with the people who have persecuted the Jew—well with those who have protected him. The future will still more remarkably prove this principle.”
Drawing on Scofield’s rather tendentious interpretation, Hagee claims, “The man or nation that lifts a voice or hand against Israel invites the wrath of God.”
But as Stephen Sizer points out in his definitive critique, Christian Zionism: Road-map to Armageddon? (available from AET’s Middle East Books and More): “The promise, when referring to Abraham’s descendants, speaks of God blessing them, not of entire nations ‘blessing’ the Hebrew nation, still less the contemporary and secular State of Israel.”
Who is Cyrus I. Scofield?
Here is a great article that explains how the Zionist-Created Scofield ‘Bible’ has infiltrated Christianity in America. It shows how the World Zionist Movement knew that they had to twist the words of the Scriptures to get America to stay out of the way of their plans to rule the world.
As a young con-artist in Kansas after the Civil War, he met up with John J. Ingalls, an aging Jewish lawyer who had been sent to Atchison by the “Secret Six” some thirty years before to work the Abolitionist cause. Pulling strings both in Kansas and with his compatriots back east, Ingalls assisted Scofield in gaining admission to the Bar, and procured his appointment as Federal Attorney for Kansas. Ingalls and Scofield became partners in a railroad scam which led to Cyrus serving time for criminal forgery.
While he was in prison, Scofield began studying the philosophy of John Darby, pioneer of the Plymouth Brethren movement and the “any moment now” rapture doctrine.
Upon his release from prison, Scofield deserted his first wife, Leonteen Carry Scofield, and his two daughters Abigail and Helen, and he took as his mistress a young girl from the St. Louis Flower Mission. He later abandoned her for Helen van Ward, whom he eventually married. Following his Illuminati connectionsto New York, he settled in at the Lotus Club, which he listed as his residence for the next twenty years. It was here that he presented his ideas for a new Christian Bible concordance, and was taken under the wing of Samuel Untermeyer, who later became chairman of the American Jewish Committee, president of the American League of Jewish Patriots, and chairman of the Non-sectarian Anti-Nazi League.
Untermeyer introduced Scofield to numerous Zionist and socialist leaders, including Samuel Gompers, Fiorello LaGuardia, Abraham Straus, Bernard Baruch and Jacob Schiff. These were the people who financed Scofield’s research trips to Oxford and arranged the publication and distribution of his concordance.
It is impossible to overstate the influence of Cyrus Scofield on twentieth-century Christian beliefs. The Scofield Bible is the standard reference work in virtually all Christian ministries and divinity schools. It is singularly responsible for the Christian belief that the Hebrew Prophecies describe the kingdom of Jesus’ Second Coming, and not the Zionist vision of a man-made New World Order.
And it is precisely because Christians persist in this belief that they remain blind to the reality of Zion.
Scofield served as the agent by which the Zionists paralyzed Christianity, while they prepared America for our final conquest.
Kansas, constituent state of the United States of America. It is bounded by Nebraska to the north, Missouri to the east, Oklahoma to the south, and Colorado to the west. Lying amid the westward-rising landscape of the Great Plains of the North American continent, Kansas became the 34th state on January 29, 1861. In that year the capital was located in Topeka by popular election, outpolling nearby Lawrence by some 2,700 votes. The state’s name is derived from that of the Kansa, or Kaw, whose name comes from a Siouan-language phrase meaning “people of the south wind.”
The geographic centre of the 48coterminous United States is marked by a limestoneshaft and a flag located in a pasture near Lebanon, Kansas, close to the Nebraska border. Some 40 miles (65 km) to the south is the magnetic, or geodetic, centre of the terrestrial mass of North America; this is the reference point for all land survey in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Kansas was once seen as the country’s agricultural heartland; some nine-tenths of the state’s land area is still used for agricultural purposes. Wichita, the state’s largest city, is known locally as the Air Capital of the Worldbecause of its longtime status as a major centre of production for general-aviation aircraft. Tourism, financial services, and government are also major sectors of employment. Area 82,278 square miles (213,100 square km). Population (2010) 2,853,118; (2019 est.) 2,913,314.
Land
Relief
Kansas has been characterized as a featureless plain, but its topography is quite varied. The land rises slowly but steadily from some 680 feet (210 metres) above sea level along the Verdigris River in the southeast to just above 4,000 feet (1,200 metres) near the Colorado border; the state’s mean elevation is about 2,000feet (610 metres). The far western section consists of high plains with few naturally occurring trees and appears flat and endless. Actually, these plains are creased with shallow gullies called draws, which are the product of millennia of erosion and are the locale of some of the state’s most striking geologic formations. Castle Rock, south of Quinter, consists of chalk spiresrising high above the level plains. Monument Rocks, a few miles to the west, resemble sphinxes. Near Jetmore is Horse Thief Canyon, which has been likened to the Grand Canyon in miniature.
Under irrigation, southwestern Kansas has come to produce truck crops and sugar beets. Northeastern Kansas, once covered by the glacier that crept over most of the northern United States, is hilly and timbered, with many creeks and springs. The southeast, lying near the foothills of the Ozark Mountains, is rough and covered in parts with scrub oak. In south-central Kansas near Medicine Lodge are the Gypsum Hills, which resemble the mesas of the Southwest and are named for the gypsum found in them. In east-central Kansas the Flint Hills stretch from north to south; gentle, rolling, largely treeless, and covered with bluestem, they provide the only extensive unplowed tract of true prairie remaining in the United States.
Soils
Millions of years ago much of Kansas was the floor of an inland sea. The land was built up by the deposit of soil and vegetable matter from streams feeding this sea. This residual soil, with heavy concentrations of limestone and gypsum, is among the most fertile in the world, and in it prehistoric fossils of great importance have been found.
Flint is a sedimentarycryptocrystalline form of the mineral quartz,[1][2] categorized as the variety of chert that occurs in chalk or marly limestone. Flint was widely used historically to make stone tools and start fires.
It occurs chiefly as nodules and masses in sedimentary rocks, such as chalks and limestones.[3][4] Inside the nodule, flint is usually dark grey, black, green, white or brown in colour, and often has a glassy or waxy appearance. A thin layer on the outside of the nodules is usually different in colour, typically white and rough in texture. The nodules can often be found along streams and beaches.
Flint breaks and chips into sharp-edged pieces, making it useful for knife blades and other cutting tools. The use of flint to make stone tools dates back hundreds of thousands of years, and flint’s extreme durability has made it possible to accurately date its use over this time. Flint is one of the primary materials used to define the Stone Age.
During the Stone Age, access to flint was so important for survival that people would travel or trade to obtain flint. Flint Ridge in Ohio was an important source of flint and Native Americans extracted the flint from hundreds of quarries along the ridge. This “Ohio Flint” was traded across the eastern United States and has been found as far west as the Rocky Mountains and south around the Gulf of Mexico.[5]
When struck against steel, flint will produce enough sparks to ignite a fire with the correct tinder, or gunpowder used in weapons. Although it has been superseded in these uses by different processes (the percussion cap), or materials, (ferrocerium), “flint” has lent its name as generic term for a fire starter.
The principal rivers are the Kansas and the Arkansas. Tributaries of the Kansas are the Big Blue, the Republican, the Solomon, the Saline, and the Smoky Hill, all in northern Kansas. The Arkansas flows into the state from Colorado and winds through southwestern and south-central Kansas, continuing through Oklahoma and Arkansas to the Mississippi River. Tributaries of the Arkansas are the Cimarron River,

Kansas has few natural lakes, but a large number of man-made reservoirs have been constructed throughout the state. Among the largest are Clinton Reservoir near Lawrence, Milford Reservoir west of Manhattan, and Wilson Reservoir in roughly the centre of the state.
ClimateKansas has a temperate but continental climate, with great extremes between summer and winter temperatures but few long periods of extreme hot or cold. The annual average temperature is 55 °F (13 °C). The growing season ranges from mid-April to mid-September. Normal annual precipitation ranges from less than 20inches (500 mm) in the west to more than 40inches (1,000 mm) in the southeast, with a statewide average of slightly more than 25 inches (635 mm).
Plant and animal life
Buffalo grass is native in the west and central areas of the state, bluestem around the Flint Hills, and bluegrass in the east. Wildflowers of many kinds are found in all parts of the state, and sunflowers grow in profusion (Kansas is popularly known as the Sunflower State). (Sunflower is Symbolic of the Sun. Satan is worshiped as the Sun in most pagan religions.)The cottonwood, the state tree, grows throughout Kansas, while in the northeast there are many oak, walnut, and maple trees, as well as cedar and elm.
Western Kansas abounds in quail and pheasant and has the largest population of prairie chickens (grouse) in North America. Deer, once almost extinct, were protected by law for many years and have multiplied to the degree that hunting again has been allowed. Bison, which had nearly disappeared from Kansas, have increased in number and are raised on ranches and farms throughout the state. Several large herds are located on public preserves in the southwestern portion of the state.
Kansas’s early settlers were principally antislavery New Englanders of British ancestry. After the American Civil War and with the building of the railroads, many central Europeans were attracted by the promise of jobs laying track and of free land when the jobs were finished. Small communities populated by citizens of predominantly Russian, Bohemian, German, or Scandinavian ancestry still dot the state. The original languages have largely disappeared, though here and there church services are still conducted in German or Swedish, and a few communities hold festivals each year at which the old folkways, foods, and languages are featured. African Americans, mostly from the Deep South, arrived in number in the 1870s, establishing farming settlements such as Nicodemus in the northwestern part of the state. During World War II, there was an influx of military personnel and aircraft workers, many of whom remained. There is now a small but growing Hispanic minority—less than one-tenth of the population—and a slightly smaller proportion of African Americans. The state is mainly Protestant, with large communities of Methodists, Baptists, and Lutherans. Virtually every denomination and sect is represented in the state, including such rare groups as the Amish and the Dunkard Brethren. Roman Catholics make up nearly all of the remaining religious adherents.
Demographic trends
Because it has provided insufficient employment opportunities, Kansas has lost a considerable number of its young people to other states. The birth rate, however, has produced a slight natural increase in population in most years. The most conspicuousdemographic trend has been the move from the farms to the cities, a trend that has continued with further technological advances in farming and the increasing size of individual landholdings.
Economy
The national trend away from manufacturing and toward the service sector has been experienced to a lesser degree in Kansas, which has remained slightly above the national average in the proportion of employees in manufacturing. Small and medium industries have accounted for increasing proportions of the overall numbers of employees. The availability of a reliable workforce has been one of the advantages the state has had to offer to prospective employers.
Both agriculture and manufacturing contribute significantly to Kansas’s economy—the former supplying many raw materials for the latter. The production of its farms and ranches has placed Kansas first among the U.S. states in wheat and first in sorghum grains; it also has ranked high in wild hay, beef, and hogs. Kansas has remained the country’s leader in wheat milling, despite some decline, and is among the top producers of processed beef.

Farmland Owned by Bill Gates: The tech billionaire owns 69,071 acres in Louisiana, 47,927 acres in Arkansas, and 20,588 acres in Nebraska.Gates also owns land in Arizona (25,750 acres), Illinois (17,940), Mississippi (16,963), Washington (16,097), Florida (14,828), Idaho (9,233), Indiana (9,136), Ohio (8,915), California (4,509), Colorado (2,270), Michigan (2,167), Wisconsin (1,188), Wyoming (975), North Carolina (874), Iowa (552), and New Mexico (1). Gates’ farmland now totals 242,000 acres. As the Land Report notes, 24,800 acres of the land is transitional, located on the western edge of Phoenix, the tenth-largest metropolitan area in the country, and the most populous city in Arizona.
According to the Land Report’s list of 100 top American landowners, billionaire businessman John Malone owns 2.2 million acres of ranches and forests. The largest landowner in Colorado is John Malone, the largest landowner in the United States. John Malone owns 2.2 million acres of property.
CNN founder Ted Turner is ranked number three with 2 million acres of ranch land, and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is ranked number 25 with 420,000 acres -— much of which is located in west Texas.
#22. Phillip Anschutz — 434,500 Acres
Phillip Anschutz owns Baughman Farms in Kansas, which is 250,000 acres as well as the 149,493 acre Overland Trail Cattle Company and Ranch in Wyoming, and 35,000 acres in Colorado. Anschutz’s company is in energy exploration, telecommunications, and agribusiness. Also, the Anschutz Entertainment Group is the world’s biggest owner and operator of sports and entertainment venues.
Manufacturing and processing plants produce a wide variety of items. Wichita is a major producer of camping gear; it also manufactures heating and air-conditioning equipment, snowmobiles, and many other products. In addition to ranking first in the world in production of general-aviation aircraft, Wichita also is an important manufacturing centre for military aircraft. Other plants in the state turn out baby foods, pet foods, prefabricated houses, mobile homes, greeting cards, tires, paint, and dishwashers. By a constitutionalamendment of 1958, the state has a right-to-work law that forbids compulsory unionism. Most cities issue revenue bonds to encourage new industry.

Resources
Kansas has abundant farmland, large mineral resources, a good labour force, a healthy retail trade, ample electrical power, plenty of water, and a central location. It is among the country’s top mineral-producing states. Its formerly important oil and natural gas production has declined, but Kansas continues to lead the country in the production of helium. In addition, it is a major producer of portland cement, stone, clay and clay products, sand, salt, gravel, and bituminous (soft) coal, and its chalk supply is virtually limitless.
Military installations
Two long-established army postshave contributed significantly to the state’s economy. Fort Leavenworth, with its renowned Command and General Staff College, dates from 1827. A major outpost in the early Indian wars and during the Civil War, it has offered sophisticated training to international military officers for many years.Fort Riley, near Junction City, was established in 1853 and was also a military outpost. In the 20th century, it became an important infantry-training centre, the home of the famous 1st Infantry Division (“the Big Red One”). McConnell Air Force Base at Wichita is a part of the Air Mobility Command, dedicated to the rapid deployment of military forces around the world.
Transportation
Kansas has an excellent system of railroads for east-west transport but, except in the east, has less-adequate north-south lines. The same may be said of its highways.Exceptions are the state’s single toll road, the Kansas Turnpike, (Foreign Company Now Owns Six Major US Tolls Roads) )which runs between Kansas City and the Oklahoma line south of Wichita, and Interstate 135. Although Kansas has more than 350public and private airports and is served by several airlines, the only major airport in the state with transcontinental service is at Wichita. Kansas City International Airport, in Kansas City, Missouri, is the main airport serving the eastern Kansas–western Missouri region.
Manhattan, city, seat (1857) of Riley county and partly in Pottawatomie county, northeastern Kansas, U.S. The city lies where the Big Blue and Kansas rivers meet, there dammed to form Tuttle Creek Lake, on the northern edge of the rolling Flint Hills. The village was founded in 1855 when the settlements of Poleska and Canton were consolidated as Boston, only to be renamed Manhattan the next year by mutual agreement between the Boston Association of Kansas and a party of colonists from Cincinnati, Ohio. The Beecher Bible and Rifle Church (1862) received its name from the proslavery and antislavery tumult, when rifles for the abolitionist congregation arrived in crates marked “Bibles.” Chiefly an educational centre, Manhattan is the home of Kansas State University (1863), one of the first land-grant and coeducational colleges in the United States, and Manhattan Christian College (1927). The city is the headquarters of the American Institute of Baking (1919). Manhattan is a trading and processing centre for the grains, alfalfa, and other crops grown in the surrounding agricultural area. Fort Riley (1852), headquarters of the 1st Infantry Division, is 8miles (13km) southwest. Pottawatomie State Fishing Lake Number 2 and Tuttle Creek State Park are also nearby. Inc. 1857. Pop. (2000) 44,831; (2010) 52,281.

Verdigris River, river rising southwest of Emporia, Kan., U.S., and flowing south and southeast past Neodesha, Independence, and Coffeyville and into Oklahoma to join the Arkansas River5 miles (8 km) northeast of Muskogee, after a course of 350 miles (560 km). There are flood-control reservoirs near Toronto and Neodesha, Kan., and one near Oologah, Okla. The river’s name is probably derived from a French word referring to a greenish gray substance suggesting copper ore. Its chief tributaries are the Caney, Fall, and Elk rivers.
c. 1300, vertegrez, from Old French verte grez (13c.), verte de Grece (late 12c.), literally “green of Greece,” from obsolete French verd, from Latin viridis (see verdure). The reason for it being called that is not known. In other languages, “green of Spain” (German grünspan, Danish spanskgrönt, Dutch spaansch-groen), from Medieval Latin viride Hispanum. Current spelling in English is from 1789. In chemistry, confined to a basic copper acetate; popularly applied to the green encrustation on copper or brass exposed to the air.

Secret US bio laboratories are strewn across multiple countries in Africa, Asia, and even Europe. This is a global problem that is the attention of various media outlets as of late. More and more frequently, the numerous articles published on this issue voice questions such as: what secret programs (even supported by the country they are located in) are these US military bases pursuing? What if they are concocting a biological weapon to be used on their opposition, and are they the ones behind this entire coronavirus pandemic in the first place?
Emerging from recent discussions on whether the coronavirus is natural or artificially altered, comes information that CDC biologists from the US have been conducting unstable experiments on bats, which nearly all sources agree, trace back to the origin of the virus. They were raising and incubating entire colonies of bats, infecting them with deadly viruses, to study how the carriers of many infections handled them, and how infections can spread. The NCBI website has actually published three scientific works on the experiments carried out by CDC biologists involving infected bats, who have significant populations in South Africa, Egypt, Turkey, and across Asia. The first scientific work on this topic was published in 2015, while the latest – in 2020. In particular, these experiments by CDC biologists and the Pentagon were a joint effort involving colleagues from the Ministry of Defense (sic!) were conducted in 2017, while research on bats passing the infection to people was partially mentioned in March 2020. The results of completed experiments were similar: bats carry viruses, never get sick themselves, but can pass them on to humans.
We know that the USAID’s (who has undeniable ties with the Pentagon and CIA) EPT program was launched in 2009. It was to support United States monitoring and laboratory opportunities in the chosen nations for studying wildlife and people coming in contact with animals, to discover new and already known virus agents, that can present a serious threat to people’s health. In Asia especially this program took root in Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, and China. In China, for instance, partners of this program were chosen by the government program of the Wuhan institute of virology, and the American non-government organization – EcoHealth Alliance. The specifics of what the Americans were into in Wuhan can be partially found in several scientific works posted on the NCBI website. Of course, the true secrets behind such deals are never made public. Thus, China became a complete doormat for American biologists testing viruses.
However, many countries have been manipulated in such a way. US military bio laboratories work on creating bacterial weapons in the Ukraine, stated Renat Kuzmin from the Oppositional Platform for Life. He thus confirmed, as did Ukrainian political figure Aleksander Lazarev the criminal activities of 15 bio labs sanctioned by the Pentagon on Ukrainian soil. Kuzmin noted that they are carrying out intelligence measures, as well as creating bacterial weapons and testing several harmful diseases on Ukrainians. Ukrainian MPs Victor Medvedchuk and Renat Kuzmin sent a formal complaint to the UN for US bacterial labs illegally functioning on Ukrainian soil. In recently increasing wave of protests against the activities US bio labs in Ukraine, experts note that in 2001, the US declined to sign an international protocol naming 33microorganisms as potential agents of biological warfare, suddenly finding 37 articles that were not in the interests of the United States, obviously creating a loophole for themselves to continue secret bio weapon work on foreign soil.
The media has repeatedly published material proving a number of incidents with dangerous viruses and toxins, leading to the death of innocent citizens in countries unwittingly hosting secret US bio labs. A significant amount of such materials has been on a US bio laboratory named the Lugar Research center (Alekseevka, Tbilisi), confirming the concerns about illegal US activities in Georgia. Secret experiments are being conducted at the facility. Some research is even done on people, who are isolated in special units and subsequently infected with the most dangerous diseases. “The proof of this lies in the experiments carried out in this bio lab directed towards using insects as carriers for highly dangerous biological agents, and infections, as well as equipping weapons with poisonous substances and infected agents,” read a statement on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation’s website.
Since 2008, the Pentagon has created nearly a dozen bio labs in Armenia. Reports in local media reveal that the research involves pathogens that have long been studied by DARPA as potential bio weapons: anthrax, brucellosis, plague, African swine fever and tularemia. Armenia is a country that has witnessed sparks of mutating viruses over the past ten years, that have also spread through all of Transcaucasia, giving the Pentagon sufficient proof of concept of how bio weapons might work naturally, both on Russia’s southern border as well as in Iran. Pentagon bio laboratories in Armenia employ a number of US military contractors, the foremost of which being CH2M Hill, which has already spent $50 million from DTRA in 2018. CH2M Hill is famous for organizing bio labs in Georgia, Uganda, Tanzania, Iraq, Afghanistan and southeast Asian countries. CH2M Hill’s sub contractors have expressed significant interest in Black&Veach, which runs US bio labs in Ukraine, Germany, Azerbaijan, Cameroon, Thailand, Ethiopia, and Vietnam. Namely, the Battelle Memorial Institute and Southern Research Institute. Both companies are old partners of the Pentagon and CIA. Between 1952 and 1996, the Battelle Memorial Institute acquired 11US army contracts and still conducts research and tests with the use of extremely toxic chemical substances and pathogenic bio active substances. One of Battelle’s joint operations with the CIA is Clear Vision in 1997 and 2000, while low caliber bomb with anthrax was constructed as part of the operation to study the spreading principles of the virus after an explosion. This shines a light on the data from a partially classified presentation of the US Minister of Defense in 1981, where the economics of the threescenarios of possible biological attack in a big city are laid out. 16simultaneous attacks using infected yellow fever mosquitos through the air and aerosol attacks with spraying tularemia will lead to minimal losses. If 625,000 deaths occurred, the Pentagon would lose 29cents per person.
This is why the activities of secret US bio labs located in numerous nations worldwide as well as proof of private company’s involvement such as CH2M Hill, Battelle, Metabiota and a number of others conducting research on dangerous anthrax bacteria, tularemia, hemorrhagic fever and a whole range of harmful viruses cannot go on unnoticed, and should be presented to the international public.

Sometimes called “molecular photocopying,” the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is a fast and inexpensive technique used to “amplify” – copy – small segments of DNA. Because significant amounts of a sample of DNA are necessary for molecular and genetic analyses, studies of isolated pieces of DNA are nearly impossible without PCR amplification.
Often heralded as one of the most important scientific advances in molecular biology, PCR revolutionized the study of DNA to such an extent that its creator, Kary B. Mullis, was awarded the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1993.
What is PCR used for?
Once amplified, the DNA produced by PCR can be used in many different laboratory procedures. For example, most mapping techniques in the Human Genome Project (HGP) relied on PCR.
PCR is also valuable in a number of laboratory and clinical techniques, including DNA fingerprinting, detection of bacteria or viruses (particularly AIDS), and diagnosis of genetic disorders.
How does PCR work?
To amplify a segment of DNA using PCR, the sample is first heated so the DNA denatures, or separates into two pieces of single-stranded DNA. Next, an enzyme called “Taq polymerase” synthesizes – builds – two new strands of DNA, using the original strands as templates. This process results in the duplication of the original DNA, with each of the new molecules containing one old and one new strand of DNA. Then each of these strands can be used to create two new copies, and so on, and so on. The cycle of denaturingand synthesizing new DNA is repeated as many as 30 or 40 times, leading to more than one billion exact copies of the original DNA segment.
2: to deprive of natural qualities: change the nature of: such as
a: to make (alcohol) unfit for drinking (as by adding an obnoxious substance) without impairing usefulness for other purposes
b: to modify the molecular structure of (something, such as a protein or DNA) especially by heat, acid, alkali, or ultraviolet radiation so as to destroy or diminish some of the original properties and especially the specific biological activity
The entire cycling process of PCR is automated and can be completed in just a few hours. It is directed by a machine called a thermocycler, which is programmed to alter the temperature of the reaction every few minutes to allow DNA denaturing and synthesis.
Those that prevent disease and expose virus creation are heroic, but those that create and purposely spread disease and virus are inhuman.Given the history of the United States government and its military industrial complex concerning biological and germ warfare, the use of these agents against large populations, and the desire to create agents that are race specific strains, these powerful entities have become compassionless purveyors of death to the innocent.Manmade viruses meant for warfare, whether for economic destruction, starvation, or mass death, are the workings of the truly evil among us. Predation at this level is relegated to those in power; a president for example, could give the order to wipe out millions due to his inability to control a problem he caused and perpetuated, and then lay blame on the victims.
Who would ever have believed that modern warfare could be more brutal, more torturous, more painful, and more harmful to innocents, especially children, than past atrocities committed in war. Memories of millions sent to their deaths fighting in trenches, cities obliterated by atomic bombs, entire countries destroyed, and millions purposely left to starve in order to appease some tyrant or elected “leader.” I once thought that nuclear war would signal the end of life as we know it, but considering modern warfare and technology, I now think that uncontrolled and deadly viruses may consume the world population, as one after another poisons are released as acts of hidden war. There can be no end to this madness, as any retaliation in kind will result in the spread of worldwide disease; all created by man.
The new Coronavirus, (2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) one in a line of many that were not just likely but most certainly produced by man in laboratories, is affecting almost exclusively the Chinese at this point. This has seemingly opened the floodgates to speculation as to its exact origin. This virus has unique characteristics that have happened before with SARS and MERS, and has genetic material that has never been identified, and is not tied to any animal or human known virus. This should be troubling to all, because if this is manmade, it was manufactured as a weapon of war. So who is responsible for its release in China? It is possible that this virus was created in China and was “accidentally” released into the population, but that does not sound credible at any level. Do any think that the Chinese government would create a Chinese race specific virus and release it in their country?
Interestingly, in the past, U.S. universities and NGOs went to China specifically to do illegal biological experimentation, and this was so egregious to Chinese officials, that forcible removal of these people was the result. Harvard University, one of the major players in this scandal, stole the DNA samples of hundreds of thousands of Chinese citizens, left China with those samples, and continued illegal bio-research in the U.S. It is thought that the U.S. military, which puts a completely different spin on the conversation, had commissioned the research in China at the time. This is more than suspicious.
The U.S. has, according to this article at Global Research, had a massive biological warfare program since at least the early 1940s, but has used toxic agents against this country and others since the 1860s. This is no secret, regardless of the propaganda spread by the government and its partners in criminal bio-weapon research and production.
As of 1999, the U.S. government had deployed its Chemical and Biological Weapons (CBW) arsenal against the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Vietnam, China, North Korea, Laos, Cambodia, Cuba, Haitian boat people, and our neighbor Canada according to this article at Counter Punch. Of course, U.S. citizens have been used as guinea pigs many times as well, and exposed to toxic germ agents and deadly chemicals by government. Keep in mind that this is a short list, as the U.S. is well known for also using proxies to spread its toxic chemicals and germ agents, such as happened in Iraq and Syria. Since 1999 there have been continued incidences of several different viruses, most of which are presumed to be manmade, including the current Coronavirus that is affecting China today.
There is also much evidence of the research and development of race-specific bio-warfare agents. This is very troubling. One would think, given the idiotic race arguments by post-modern Marxists, that this would consume the mainstream news, and any participants in these atrocious race-specific poisons would be outed at every level. That is not happening, but I believe it is due to obvious reasons, including government cover-up, hypocrisy at all levels, and leftist agenda driven objectives that would not gain ground with the exposure of this government-funded anti-race science.
I will say that it is not just the U.S. that is developing and producing bio-warfare agents and viruses, but many developed countries around the globe do so as well. But the United States, as is the case in every area of war and killing, is by far the world leader in its inhuman desire to be able to kill entire populations through biological and chemical warfare means. Because these agents are extremely dangerous and uncontrollable, and can spread wildly, the risk to not only isolated populations, but also the entire world is evident.Consider that a deadly virus created by the U.S. and used against another country was found out and verified, and in retaliation, that country or others decided to strike back with other toxic agents against America. Where would this end, and over time, how many billions could be affected in such a scenario?
All indications point to the fact that the most toxic, poisonous, and deadly viruses ever known are being created in labs around the world. In the U.S. think of Fort Detrick, Maryland, Pine Bluff Arsenal, Arkansas, Horn Island, Mississippi, Dugway Proving Ground, Utah, Vigo Ordinance Plant, Indiana, and many others. Think of the fascist partnerships between this government and the pharmaceutical industry.Think of the U.S. military installations positioned all around the globe. Nothing good can come from this, as it is not about finding cures for disease, or about discovering vaccines, but is done for one reason only, and that is for the purpose of bio-warfare for mass killing.
The drive to find biological weapons that will sicken and kill millions at a time is not only a travesty, but is beyond evil. This power is held by the few, but the potential victims of this madness include everyone on earth. How can such insanity at this level be allowed to continue? If any issue could ever unite the masses, governments participating in biological and germ warfare, race-specific killing, and creating viruses with the potential to affect disease and death worldwide, should cause many to stand together against it. The first step is to expose that governments, the most likely culprit being the U.S. government, are planting these viruses purposely to cause great harm. Once that is proven, the unbelievable risk to all will be known, and then people everywhere should put their divisiveness aside, stand together, and stop this assault on mankind.
“In vast laboratories in the Ministry of Peace, and in experimental stations, teams of experts are indefatigably at work searching for new and deadlier gases; or for soluble poisons capable of being produced in such quantities as to destroy the vegetation of whole continents; or for breeds of disease germs immunised against all possible antibodies.”~ George Orwell – 1984

Comment: In light of the ‘COVID-19 pandemic’, which – despite its mortality rate being blown up out of all proportion to reality – is, nevertheless, indeed an illness stemming from infection by the SARS-CoV-2 virus first discovered by the Chinese in Wuhan in December 2019, and in light of their pointed accusation against a certain US bio-lab in Maryland being a possible source of the virus, we’re re-running this exposé from a couple of years agoconcerning the massive global bio-weapons laboratory infrastructure that the US maintains…

Dilyana Gaytandzhieva is a Bulgarian investigative journalist and Middle East Correspondent. Over the last two years she has published a series of reports on weapons smuggling to ISIS in Syria. In the past year she came under pressure from the Bulgarian National Security Agency and was fired from her job in the Bulgarian newspaper Trud Daily, without explanation. Despite this, Dilyana continues her investigations. The following report, first published on South Front, provides an overview of the Pentagon’s secretive development of biological weapons in bio-labs around the world.
The US Army regularly produces deadly viruses, bacteria and toxins in direct violation of the UN Convention on the prohibition of Biological Weapons. Hundreds of thousands of unwitting people are systematically exposed to dangerous pathogens and other incurable diseases. Bio warfare scientists using diplomatic cover test man-made viruses at Pentagon bio laboratories in 25 countries across the world. These US bio-laboratories are funded by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) under a $ 2.1 billion military program – Cooperative Biological Engagement Program (CBEP) – and are located in former Soviet Union countries such as Georgia and Ukraine, the Middle East, South East Asia and Africa.
The Lugar Center, Republic of Georgia
The US Army has been deployed to Vaziani Military Air Base, 17 km away from the Pentagon bio-laboratory at the Lugar Center.
Georgia is a Testing Ground For Bioweapons
The Lugar Center is the Pentagon bio laboratory in Georgia. It is located just 17 km away from the US Vaziani military airbase in the capital Tbilisi. Tasked with the military program are biologists from the US Army Medical Research Unit-Georgia (USAMRU-G) along with private contractors. The Bio-safety Level 3 Laboratory is accessible only to US citizens with security clearance. They are accorded diplomatic immunity under the 2002 US-Georgia Agreement on defense cooperation.
The USA-Georgia agreement accords diplomatic status to the US military and civilian personnel (including diplomatic vehicles), working on the Pentagon program in Georgia.
Information obtained from the US federal contracts registry clarifies some of the military activities at the Lugar Center – among them research on bio-agents(anthrax, tularemia) and viral diseases (e.g. Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever), and the collection of biological samples for future experiments.
Pentagon Contractors Produce Bio Agents Under Diplomatic Cover
The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has outsourced much of the work under the military program to private companies, which are not held accountable to Congress, and which can operate more freely and move around the rule of law.(This is the same method used by Obama and his NGO’s to take control of all business, financial and commercial decisions, bypassing our legal system.)US civilian personnel performing work at the Lugar Center have also been given diplomatic immunity, although they are not diplomats. Hence, private companies can perform work, under diplomatic cover, for the US government without being under the direct control of the host state – in this case the Republic of Georgia. This practice is often used by the CIA to provide cover for its agents.
Three private American companies work at the US bio-laboratory in Tbilisi – CH2M Hill, Battelle and Metabiota. In addition to the Pentagon, these private contractors perform biological research for the CIA and various other government agencies. (And no doubt for other governments and corporate interests, especially when they receive handsome financial benefits.)
CH2M Hill has been awarded $341.5 millionDTRA contracts under the Pentagon’s program for bio-laboratories in Georgia, Uganda, Tanzania, Iraq, Afghanistan, South East Asia. Half of this sum ($161.1million) is allocated to the Lugar Center under the Georgian contract.
According to CH2M Hill, the US Company has secured biological agents and employed former bio-warfare scientists at the Lugar Center. These are scientists who are working for another American company involved in the military program in Georgia – Battelle Memorial Institute.
As a $59 million subcontractor at the Lugar Center, Battelle has extensive experience in research on bio-agents, as the company has already worked on the US Bio-weapons Program under 11 previous contracts with the US Army (1952-1966).
Project Clear Vision (1997 and 2000), a joint investigation by the CIA and the Battelle Memorial Institute, under a contract awarded by the Agency, reconstructed and tested a Soviet-era anthrax bombletin order to test its dissemination characteristics. The project’s stated goal was to assess bio-agents dissemination characteristics of bomblets. The clandestine CIA-Battelle operation was omitted from the US Biological Weapons Convention declarations submitted to the UN.

Top Secret Experiments
Battelle has operated a Top Secret Bio laboratory(National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center – NBACC) at Fort Detrick, Maryland, under a US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) contract for the last decade. The company has been awarded a $344.4millionfederal contract (2006 – 2016) and another $17.3millioncontract (2015 -2026) by DHS.
Besides the military experiments at the Lugar Center in Georgia, Battelle has already produced bioterrorism agents at the Biosafety Level 4 NBACC Top Secret Laboratory at Fort Detrick in the US.An NBACC presentation lists 16 research priorities forthe lab, including to characterize classical, emerging and genetically-engineered pathogens for their BTA (biological threat agent) potential; assess the nature of nontraditional, novel and non-endemic induction of disease from potential BTA; and to expand aerosol-challenge testing capacity for non-human primates.
Pentagon Biolabs at The epicenter of The Ebola Crisis
The US Company Metabiota Inc. has been awarded $18.4million federal contracts under the Pentagon’s DTRA program in Georgia and Ukraine for scientific and technical consulting services.
Metabiota services include global field-based biological threat research, pathogen discovery, outbreak response and clinical trials.
Metabiota Inc. had been contracted by the Pentagon to perform work for DTRA before and during the Ebola crisis in West Africa, and was awarded $3.1 million (2012-2015) for work in Sierra Leone – one of the countries at the epicenter of the Ebola outbreak.
Metabiota worked on the Pentagon’s project at the epicenter of the Ebola crisis, where three US biolabs are situated.
A July 17, 2014report, drafted by the Viral Hemorrhagic Fever Consortium, accused Metabiota Inc. of failing to abide by an existing agreement on how to report test results and for bypassing the Sierra Leonean scientists working there. The report also raised the possibility that Metabiota was culturing blood cells at the lab, something the report said was dangerous, as well as misdiagnosing healthy patients. All of those allegations were denied by Metabiota.
2011, the Lugar Center, Andrew C. Weber (on the right) – US Assistant Secretary of Defense (2009-2014), US DoD Deputy Coordinatorfor Ebola Response (2014-2015), is currently a Metabiota (US contractor) employee.
Military Experiments on Biting Insects
Entomological warfare is a type of biological warfare that uses insects to transmit diseases. The Pentagon has allegedly performed such entomological tests in Georgia and Russia.
As a result, Tbilisi has been infested with biting flies since 2015. These biting insects live indoors, in bathrooms, all year long, which was not the typical behavior of these species in Georgia previously (normally the Phlebotomine fly season in Georgia is exceptionally short – from June to September). Local people complain of being bitten by these newly-appeared flies while naked in their bathrooms. They also have a strong resistance to cold and can survive even in sub-zero temperatures in the mountains.
Biting Flies in Dagestan, Russia
Since the start of the Pentagon project in 2014, flies similar to those in Georgia have appeared in neighboring Dagestan (Russia). According to local people, they bite and cause rashes. Their breeding habitats are house drains.
Flies in Georgia (on the left). The same fly in Dagestan (on the right)
Flies from the Phlebotomine family carry dangerous parasites in their saliva which they transmit through a bite to humans. The disease, which these flies carry, is of high interest to the Pentagon. In 2003 during the US invasion of Iraq, American soldiers were severely bitten by sand fliesand contracted Leishmoniasis. The disease is native to Iraq and Afghanistan, and if left untreated the acute form of Leishmoniasis can be fatal.
A 1967US Army report ‘Arthropodsof medical importance in Asia and the European USSR‘ lists all local insects, their distribution and the diseases that they carry. Biting flies, which live in drains, are also listed in the document. Their natural habitat, though, is the Philippines, not Georgia or Russia.
‘Arthropods of medical importance in Asia and the European USSR’, US Army report, 1967
Operation Whitecoat: Infected Flies Tested to Bite Humans
In 1970 and 1972, Sand Fly Fever tests were performed on humans according to a declassified US Army report – ‘US Army Activities in the US, Biological Warfare Programs, 1977, vol. II, p. 203‘. During Operation Whitecoat, volunteers were exposed to bites by infected sand flies. Operation Whitecoatwas a bio-defense medical research program carried out by the US Army at Fort Detrick, Maryland, between 1954 and 1973.
Despite the official termination of the US bio-weapons program, in 1982USAMRIID performed an experimentto see if sand flies and mosquitoes could be vectors of Rift Valley Virus, Dengue, Chikungunya and Eastern Equine Encephalitis – viruses which the US Army researched for their potential as bio-weapons.
Killer Insects
A. Aegypti
The Pentagon has a long history in using insects as vectors for diseases. According to a partially declassified 1981 US Army report, American bio warfare scientists carried out a number of experiments on insects. These operations were part of US Entomological Warfare under the Program for Biological Weapons of the US.
The Pentagon: How to Kill 625,000 People For Just $0.29 Cost Per Death
A US Army report in 1981 compared twoscenarios – 16simultaneous attacks on a city by A. Aegypti mosquitoes, infected with Yellow Fever, and Tularemia aerosol attack, and assessed their effectiveness in terms of cost and casualties.
Operation Big Itch: Field tests were performed to determine coverage patterns and survivability of the tropical rat flea Xenopsylla cheopis for use as a disease vector in biological warfare.
Operation Big Buzz: 1 millionA. Aegypti mosquitoeswere produced, 1/3 were placed in munitions and dropped from aircraft,or dispersed on the ground. The mosquitoes survived the airdrop and actively sought out human blood.
Evaluation of Entomological Warfare as a potential Danger to the US and European NATO nations, US Army, March 1981 Report
Operation May Day:Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes were dispersed through ground-based methods in Georgia, USA,during a US Army operation codenamed May Day.
Parts of the 1981 US Army report such as the “Mass production of Aedes Aegypti”have not been declassified, potentially meaning that the project is still ongoing.
Aedes Aegypti, also known as yellow fever mosquito, have been widely used in US military operations. The same species of mosquitoes are alleged to be the vectors of dengue, chikungunya and the Zika virus, which causes genetic malformations in newborns
Operation Bellweather: The US Army Chemical Research and Development Command, Biological Weapons Branch, studied outdoor mosquito biting activity in a number of field tests at Dugway Proving Ground, Utah, in 1960. Virgin female Aedes aegypti mosquitoes, which had been starved, were tested upon troops out in the open air.
Military Experiments With Tropical Mosquitoes and Ticks in Georgia
Such species of mosquitoes and fleas (studied in the past under the US Entomological Warfare Program) have also been collected in Georgia and tested at the Lugar Center.
Aedes Albopictus is a vector of many viral pathogens, Yellow fever virus, Dengue, Chikungunya and Zika.
These tropical mosquitoes Aedes Albopictus, having never been seen before in Georgia, have also been detected in neighboring Russia (Krasnodar) and Turkey. According to data provided by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, their spread is unusual for this part of the world.

Aedes Aegypti mosquitoeshave been distributed only in Georgia, southern Russia and northern Turkey. They were detected for the first time in 2014 after the start of the Pentagon program at the Lugar Center.
In 2007 Georgia ended its policyof having compulsory annual livestock anthrax vaccination. As a result, the morbidity rate of the disease reached its peak in 2013. The same year NATOstarted human-based anthrax vaccine testsat the Lugar Center in Georgia.

In 2007, despite the anthrax outbreak, the Georgian government terminated compulsory vaccination for 7years. 2013 saw NATO begin human trials on a new anthrax vaccine in Georgia.
Pentagon Research on Russian Anthrax
Anthrax is one of the bio agents weaponized by the US Army in the past. Despite the Pentagon’s claims that its program is only defensive, there are facts to the contrary. In 2016 at the Lugar Center American scientists carried out research on the ‘GenomeSequence of the Soviet/RussianBacillus anthracis Vaccine Strain 55-VNIIVViM’, which was funded by the US Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s (DTRA) Cooperative Biological Engagement Program in Tbilisi, and administered by Metabiota (the US contractor under the Pentagon program in Georgia).
34 People Intentionally-Infected With Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) in Georgia
Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) is caused by infection through a tick-borne virus (Nairovirus). The disease was first characterized in Crimea in 1944 and given the name Crimean hemorrhagic fever. It was then later recognized in 1969 as the cause of illness in Congo, thus resulting in the current name of the disease. In 2014,34 people became infected (including a 4-year old child) with CCHF.Threeof them died. The same year, Pentagon biologists studied the virus in Georgia under the DTRA project‘Epidemiology of febrile illnesses caused by Dengue viruses and other Arboviruses in Georgia‘. The project included tests on patients with fever symptoms and the collection of ticks, as possible vectors of CCHFV for laboratory analysis.
The cause of the CCHF outbreak in Georgia is still unknown. According to the local Veterinary Department report, only one tick from all of the collected species from the infected villages tested positive for the disease.Despite the claims of local authorities that the virus was transmitted to humans from animals, all animal blood samples were negative too.The lack of infected ticks and animals is inexplicable given the sharp increase of CCHF human cases in 2014, meaning that the outbreak was not natural and the virus was spread intentionally.
Military Bio-lab Blamed For Deadly CCHF Outbreak in Afghanistan
237 cases of Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) have also been reported across Afghanistan, 41of which were fatal as of December 2017. According to Afghanistan’s Ministry of Health, most of the cases have been registered in the capital Kabul, where 71 cases have been reported with 13 fatalities, and in the province of Herat near the border with Iran (67 cases).
Afghanistan is one of 25 countries across the world with Pentagon bio-laboratories on their territory. The project in Afghanistan is part of the US bio-defense program – Cooperative Biological Engagement Program (CBEP), which is funded by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). The DTRA contractors, working at the Lugar Center in Georgia, CH2M Hill and Battelle, have also been contracted for the program in Afghanistan. CH2M Hill has been awarded a $10.4 million contract(2013-2017). The Pentagon contractors in Afghanistan and Georgia are the same, and so are the diseases which are spreading among the local population in both countries.
Bats have been blamed for the deadly Ebola outbreak in Africa (2014-2016). However, no conclusive evidence of exactly how the virus ‘jumped’ to humans has ever been provided, which raises suspicions of intentional and not natural infection.
Engineering Deadly Viruses is Legal in the US
Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) first appeared in 2012 and is thought to have originated in bats and spread directly to humans and/or camels. However, like Ebola, the precise ways the virus spreads are unknown.
1,980cases with 699deaths caused by MERS-CoV were reported in 15 countries across the world (as of June 2017).
MERS-CoV is one of the viruses that have been engineered by the US and studied by the Pentagon, as well as influenza and SARS. Confirmation of this practice is Obama’s 2014 temporary ban on government funding for such ‘dual-use’ research. Themoratoriumwas lifted in 2017and experiments have continued. Enhanced Potential Pandemic Pathogens (PPPs) experiments are legal in the US.
Such experiments aim to increase the transmissibility and/or virulence of pathogens.
Tularemia as Bioweapon
Tularemia, also known as Rabbit Fever, is classified as a bioterrorism agent and was developed as such in the past by the US. However, the Pentagon’s research on tularemia continues, as well as on possible vectors of the bacteria such as ticks and rodents, which cause the disease. The DTRA has launched a number of projects on Tularemia along with other especially dangerous pathogensin Georgia.
Especially Dangerous Pathogens (EDPs), or select agents, represent a major concern for public health globally. These highly pathogenic agents have the potential to be weaponized, with proof of their military importance seen through the following Pentagon projects: Epidemiology and Ecology of Tularemia in Georgia (2013-2016) (60,000 vectors were collected for strain isolates and genome research); Epidemiology of Human Tularemia in Georgia; and Human Disease Epidemiology and Surveillance of Especially Dangerous Pathogens in Georgia (study of select agents among patients with undifferentiated fever and hemorrhagic fever/septic shock).
F. Tularensis is a highly infectious bacterium and has the potential to be weaponized for use through aerosol attacks.
Tularemia is one of the bio-weapons that the US Army developed in the past.
Pentagon Bio-laboratories Spread Diseases in Ukraine

The DoD Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has funded 11 bio-laboratories in Ukraine, which also borders on Russia:
The US Military Program is Sensitive Information
Ukraine has no control over the military bio-laboratories on its own territory. According to the 2005Agreement between the US Department of Defense and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Ukrainian government is prohibited from public disclosure of sensitive information about the US program and Ukraine is obliged to transfer to the US DoD dangerous pathogens for biological research. The Pentagon has been granted access to certain state secrets of Ukraine in connection with the projects under their agreement:
Biowarfare Scientists Under Diplomatic Cover
Among the set of bilateral agreements between the US and Ukraine is the establishment of the Science and Technology Center in Ukraine (STCU) – an international organization funded mainly by the US government which has been accorded diplomatic status. The STCU officially supports projects of scientistspreviously involved in the Soviet biological weapons program. Over the past 20 years the STCU has invested over $285million in funding and managing some 1,850 projects of scientists who previously worked on the development of weapons of mass destruction.
The US personnel in Ukraine work under diplomatic cover.
364 Ukrainians Died From Swine Flu
One of the Pentagon laboratories is located in Kharkiv, where in January 2016at least 20Ukrainian soldiers died from a flu-like virus in just two days, with 200more being hospitalized. The Ukrainian government did not report on the dead Ukrainian soldiers in Kharkiv. As of March 2016, 364deaths were reported across Ukraine (81.3% caused by Swine Flu A (H1N1) pdm09 – the same strain which caused the world pandemic in 2009).

According to Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) intelligence information, the US bio-lab in Kharkiv leaked the deadly virus.
Police Investigate Infection With Incurable Disease
Late last year, a highly suspicious Hepatitis A infection spread rapidly in just few months across South East Ukraine, where most of the Pentagon biolabs are located.
A new highly virulent variant of the cholera agent Vibrio cholera, with a high genetic similarity to the strains reported in Ukraine, hit Moscow in 2014. According to a 2014 Russian Research Anti-Plaque Institute genetic study, the cholera strain isolated in Moscow was similar to the bacteria which caused the epidemic in neighboring Ukraine.
Southern Research Institute, one of the US contractors working at the bio-laboratories in Ukraine, has projects on Cholera, as well as on Influenza and Zika – all pathogens of military importance to the Pentagon.
Along with Southern Research Institute, two other private American companies operate military bio-labs in Ukraine – Black & Veatch and Metabiota.
Black & Veatch Special Project Corp. was awarded $198.7 million in DTRA contracts to build and operate bio-laboratories in Ukraine (under two 5-year contracts in 2008 and 2012 totaling $128.5 million), as well as in Germany, Azerbaijan, Cameroon, Thailand, Ethiopia, Vietnam and Armenia.
Metabiota has been awarded a $18.4 million federal contract under the program in Georgia and Ukraine. This US company was also contracted to perform work for the DTRA before and during the Ebola crisis in West Africa, including $3.1 million (2012-2015) for work in Sierra Leone.
Southern Research Institute has been a prime subcontractor under the DTRA program in Ukrainesince 2008. The company was also a prime Pentagon contractor in the past, under the US Biological Weapons Program for research and development of bio-agents, with 16 contracts between 1951 and 1962.
Ken Alibek was the First Deputy Director of Biopreparat, where he oversaw a program for biological weapon facilities and was the Soviet Union’s main expert on anthrax. After his defection to the US, he was engaged on Pentagon research projects.
$250,000 For Lobbying Jeff Sessions For “Research For US Intelligence”
Southern Research Institute lobbied the USCongress and US Department of State hard for “issues related to research and development for US intelligence” and “defense related research and development.” The lobbying activitiescoincided with the start of the Pentagon projects on bio-labs in Ukraine and other former Soviet states.
The company paid $250,000 for lobbying then-Senator Jeff Sessions in 2008-2009 (currently the US Attorney General appointed by Donald Trump), when the institute was awarded a number of federal contracts.

Police Investigate Botulism Toxin Poisoning in Ukraine
115Botulism cases, with 12deaths, were reported in Ukraine in 2016.
In 2017 the Ukrainian Ministry of Health confirmed a further 90 new cases, with 8 deaths, of botulinum toxin poisoning (one of the most poisonous biological substances known). According to local health authorities, the cause of the outbreak was food poisoning, into which police launched an investigation.
Botulism is a rare and extremely dangerous illness caused by a toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum.
1 gm of The Toxin Can Kill as Many as 1 Million People
Botulinum neurotoxin poses a major bio-weapon threatbecause of its extreme potency, ease of production and transport. It causes muscles paralyses, respiratory failure and ultimately death if not treated immediately. A single gram of crystalline toxin, evenly dispersed and inhaled can kill more than one million people. It could be disseminated via aerosol, or by contamination of water and/ or food supplies.
The Pentagon Produces Live Viruses, Bacteria & Toxins
Botulinum Toxin was tested as a bio-weapon by the US Army in the past, as well as Anthrax, Brucella and Tularemia. Although the US bio-weapons program was officially terminated in 1969, documents show that the military experiments never ended. Presently the Pentagon produces and tests live bio-agents at the same military facility as it did in the past – Dugway Proving Ground.
The US Army produces and tests bio-agents at a special military facility located at Dugway Proving Ground (West Desert Test Center, Utah), as proven in a 2012US Army Report. The facility is overseen by the Army Test and Evaluation Command.
The Life Sciences Division (LSD) at Dugway Proving Ground is tasked with the production of bio-agents. According to the Army report, scientists from this division produce and test aerosolized bio-agents at Lothar Saloman Life Sciences Test Facility (LSTF).
Dugway Proving Ground
Biological Agents produced by the US Army at Dugway Proving Ground, Utah, USA
The Life Sciences Division consists of an Aerosol Technology branch and a Microbiology Branch. The Aerosol Technology Branch aerosolizes biological agents and simulants. The Microbiology branch produces toxins, bacteria, viruses and agent-like organisms which are used in chamber and field testing.
Aerosol Experiments With Botulinum Neurotoxin And Anthrax
Documents prove that the US Army produces, possesses and tests aerosols of the most lethal toxin in the world – Botulinum Neurotoxin. In 2014 the Department of the Army purchased 100 mg of Botulinum Toxin from Metabiologics for tests at Dugway Proving Ground.
The experiments date back to 2007 when an unspecified quantity of the toxin was procured for the Department of the Army by the same company – Metabiologics. According to the 2012 West Desert Test Center Report, the military facility performs tests with Botulinum Neurotoxin Aerosol, as well as with aerosolized Anthrax, Yersinia pestis, and Venezuelan Equine Encephalitis Virus (VEE).
The US Army report lists numerous dissemination techniques, including via bio-aerosol sprayers. Such sprayers, called Micronair disseminators, have already been developed by the US Army and tested at Dugway Proving Ground. According to the documents, they can be vehicle-mounted, or worn as a backpack with a pump system, which can be fitted to the unit to increase the accuracy of the release. Micronair sprayers can release 50 to 500 mL of bio-liquid simulant per minute from 12 L tanks.
The US Stole Bacteria From Saddam Hussein’s Bio Weapons Factory
Bacillus thuringiensis is an insect pathogen that is widely used as a bio-pesticide.B. thuringiensis (BT) Al Hakam wascollected in Iraqby the UN Special Commission led by the US in 2003. It is named after Al Hakam – Iraq’s bio-weapons production facility. Apart from Pentagon field tests, this bacterium is also used in the US for the production of GM corn, which is resistant to pests. Photos posted by the CIA prove that the bacteria was collected by the US in Iraq. According to the CIA, the vials containing bio-pesticide were recovered from an Al Hakam scientist’s home.
CIA: A total of 97 vials – including those with labels consistent with the Al Hakam cover stories of single-cell protein and bio-pesticides – as well as strains that could be used to produce BW agents, were recovered from a scientist’s residence in Iraq in 2003.
Information from the US federal contracts registry shows that the Pentagon performs tests using the bacteria stolen from Saddam Hussein’s bio-weapons factory in Iraq.
The tests are performed on Kirtland Air Force Base (Kirtland is the home of the Air Force Materiel Command’s Nuclear Weapons Center). Here weapons are being tested, meaning that the field tests with biological simulants (bacteria) also fall into this group.
The DTRA contractor on this project – Lovelace Biomedical and Environmental Research Institute (LBERI) – operates an Animal Bio-safety 3 Level (ABSL-3) laboratory, which has Select Agent status. The facility is designed to conduct bioaerosol studies. The company has been awarded a 5-year contract for field tests with biological simulants at Kirtland Air Force Base.
What the Pentagon is currently doing is exactly what it did in the past, meaning that its bio-weapons program was never terminated. The US Army performed 27 field tests with such biological simulants, involving the public domain from 1949 to 1968, when President Nixon officially announced the end of the program.
The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), which runs the US military program at the Lugar Center in Georgia, is alleged to have already performed field tests with an unknown substance in Chechnya, Russia. In the spring of 2017 local citizens reported a drone disseminating white powder close to the Russian border with Georgia. Neither the Georgian border police, nor the US personnel operating on the Georgia-Russia border, commented on this information.
$9.2 Million US Military Project on Russia-Georgia Border
DTRA has full access to the Russia-Georgia border, granted under a military program called ‘Georgia Land Border Security Project‘. The activities related to the project have been outsourced to a private American company – Parsons Government Services International. DTRA has previously contracted Parsons for similar border security projects in Lebanon, Jordan, Libya and Syria. Parsons have been awarded a $9.2 million contract under the Pentagon border security project on the Russia-Georgia border.
Local citizens in Chechnya noticed a UAV sprayer near the Russian border with Georgia in 2017.
US Defense Agency Tests GM Insects to Transmit GM Viruses
The Pentagon has invested at least $65 million in gene editing. The US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has awarded 7 research teamsto develop tools for genome engineering in insects, rodents and bacteria under DARPA’s Ecological Niche-preference Engineering is a third ongoing military program for genome engineering in insects. The Pentagon’s stated objective is to engineer GM organisms so that they can resist certain temperatures, change their habitat and food sources.
Besides gene editing in insects and in the viruses they transmit, the Pentagon wants to engineer humans as well.
DARPA Advanced Tools for Mammalian Genome Engineering Project seeks to create a biological platform inside the human body, using it to deliver new genetic information, and thus altering humans at the DNA level.
DARPA wants to insert an additional 47th artificial chromosome into human cells. This chromosome will deliver new genes that will be used for engineering the human body.SynPloid Biotek LLC has been awarded twocontracts under the program totaling $1.1million (2015-2016– $100,600 for the first phase of the research; 2015-2017– $999,300 for work which is not specified in the federal contracts registry). The company has only two employees and no previous record on bio-research.
Top Secret Research on Synthetic Viruses
Between 2008 and 2014, the United States invested approximately $820 million in synthetic biology research, Defense being a major contributor. Much of the military projects on synthetic biology are classified, among them are a number of classified studies by the secretive JASON group of US military advisors – e.g. Emerging Viruses and Genome Editing for the Pentagon, and Synthetic Viruses for the National Counterterrorism Center.
JASON is an independent scientific advisory group that provides consulting services to the U.S. government on matters of defense, science and technology. It was established in 1960and most of their resulting JASON reports are classified. For administrative purposes, JASON’s projects are run by the MITRE Corporation, which has contracts with the Defense Department, CIA and the FBI. Since 2014MITRE has been awarded some $27.4 million in contracts with the DoD.
Although the JASON Reports are classified, another US Air Force study titled Biotechnology: Genetically Engineered Pathogens, sheds some light on what the secretive JASON group has researched – 5groups of genetically engineered pathogens that can be used as bio-weapons. These are binary biological weapons (a lethal combination of two viruses), host swapping diseases (animal viruses that ‘jump’ to humans, like the Ebola virus), stealth viruses, and designer diseases.Designer diseases can be engineered to target a certain ethnic group, meaning that they can be used as ethnic bio-weapons.
Ethnic Bioweapons
Ethnic biological weapon (biogenetic weapon) is a theoretical weapon that aims to primarily harm people of specific ethnicities, or genotypes.
Although officially the research and development of ethnic bio-weapons have never been publicly confirmed, documents show that the US collects biological material from certain ethnic groups – Russians and Chinese.
The US Air Force has been specifically collecting Russian RNA and synovial tissue samples, raising fears in Moscow of a covert US ethnic bio-weapons program.
Apart from Russians, the US has been collectingbiological materialfrom both healthy and cancer patients in China. The National Cancer Institute has collected biological samples from 300subjects from Linxian, Zhengzhou, and Chengdu in China. While another federal project, titled ‘Serum Metabolic biomarkersdiscovery study of Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma in China’, includes analysis of 349 serum samples which have been collected from Chinese patients.
The US National Cancer Institute has been collecting biological material from patients of the Chinese Cancer Hospital in Beijing.
The companies involved in the project are owned by the biggest American tobacco companies – Mediacago, Inc. is co-owned by Philip Morris and Kentucky BioProcessing is a subsidiary of Reynolds American, which is owned by British American Tobacco. Currently they are producing Flu and Ebola vaccinesfrom tobaccoplants.
The $100million program Blue Angel was launched as a response to the H1N1 pandemic in 2009. Medicago was awarded $21million to produce 10,000 million doses of an influenza vaccine within one month.
Blue Angel program manager Dr. John Julias explains: “Although there are multiple plant species and other organisms being explored as alternative protein production platforms, the US Government has continued to make an investment in tobacco-based manufacturing.”
The plant-based vaccine production method works by isolating a specific antigen protein that triggers a human immune response from the targeted virus. A gene from the protein is transferred to bacteria, which is used to infect plants. The plants then start producing the protein that will be used for vaccinations.
It is not clear why the Pentagon chooses to invest in vaccines produced from tobacco plants, from among all other plant species they explored. Medicago, co-owned by Philip Morris, paid $495,000for lobbying the Department of Defense, Congress and the Department of Health and Human Services for “funding to advance technology to support public health preparedness applications.” The Pentagon funded tobacco companies to develop new technology and to profit from vaccines.
Biological Experiments Are War Crimes
Article 8 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) defines biological experiments as war crimes. The US, however, is not a state party to the international treaty, and cannot be held accountable for its war crimes.
The Pentagon’s bio-weapon Frankenstein-research is not only alive and well, like NATO, it has metastasized since the collapse of the USSR, spreading into Africa, the Middle East, and on Russia’s doorstep.
President Putin noted the uptick in US bio-research focused on ‘Russians/Caucasians’ last October and, addressing Russia’s Human Rights Council, said:
“[…] do you know that biological material is being collected all over the country, from different ethnic groups and people living in different geographical regions of the Russian Federation? The question is – why is it being done? It’s being done purposefully and professionally. We are a kind of object of great interest.”
Franz Klintsevich, the first deputy chairman of the Federation Council’s Committee for Defense and Security went on to add this on his Facebook page:
“I’m not saying that it is about preparing a biological war against Russia. But its scenarios, are, no doubt, being worked on. That is to say, in case the need arises.”
It may, for now, remain more sci-fi than fact, but the concept of ethnic-specific weapons and/or viral means of ‘improving the human genome’ are clearly uppermost in certain American minds.
What do they think is going to happen if they unleash some kind of bio-weapon pandemic that ostensibly targets ‘only Russians’? Or if they accidentally unleash a global pandemic that will hurt Americans too because they were attempting to ‘make people more docile’?
It apparently hasn’t yet dawned on them that most Caucasians are of mixed descent/genotype. Additionally, attempting to ‘improve’ the human genome would likely backfire on them.
