Wow…what a magick show! The other day I happened upon a video of the most recent Rocket Launch. I don’t usually pay much attention to that kind of thing. But the video came on after one I had been watching and I was lying down to rest. I did not bother to lift my head to shut it off. I was dosing off, but the Lord kept waking me up to catch certain parts of the video. One in particular caught my attention. I began to take notes and do some research.
What I found was very interesting. Very much like the “Rocket to the Moon” hoax in the 60’s was designed to rally the people in the middle of the “Cold War”, “Rocket to Mars” was created to rally the people in the middle of the COVID 19 Plandemic.
It is my fervent belief that the elites planned this entire fantasy long ago. They created the “Pandemic” in order to bring in the New World Order. They created the Moon Mission to stir the people toward UNITY and COMPLIANCE.
IN FACT, I believe that they were behind the current re-emergence of the TRUTH of Flat Earth. They brought it back in the limelight to afford them the opportunity to bombard everyone with SPACE magick. To reinforce the public’s fascination with space adventure and to prime the people for their planned launch. IT is all smoke and mirrors folks. I hate to have to tell you.
I know that everyone is going to think I am loony That is funny. Because that term means that you are under the influence of the “MOON”. So in truth… most of the world is loony. The ones who do not buy into the “SPACE PROGRAM” and who recognize that the Earth is not a globe spinning through space are the ones who are grounded. Grounded means having your feet FIRMLY PLANTED ON SOLID GROUND. By the way, “SPACE PROGRAM” is another word spell. It is called a PROGRAM, because they are PROGRAMMING YOU!
I personally would probably never have even looked at FLAT EARTH had it not been for a speech I heard on TV. It was just a little blurb, but it was articulated very clearly and emphasized. The speech was to rally the people for “CLIMATE CHANGE” another elite hoax. The speech was given to combat the resistance to the climate change agenda. “WE DON’T HAVE TIME FOR A MEETING OF THE FLAT EARTH SOCIETY”.. The words were expressed very loud and clear.

Not having a clue what that was about… I looked into Flat Earth. It did not take me long to realize that we had been lied to all of our lives about the world we live on.
Knowing the nature, the philosophy, the politics and the agenda of one who delivered that speech, I wondered why he would make such a declaration. At the time of that speech, I doubt there were very many people who even thought about Flat Earth. There are many of us today. That speech created a real controversy. Since then, there has been a huge campaign to get people excited again about SPACE. To reinforce the BULLSHIT. To get kids dreaming about flying to distant planets. Just like they did in the 60’s.
NOW, I see the method in their madness.
I am going to tell you another thing you probably will not believe. The elite know that the only people who cannot be mesmerized by their magick are those who KNOW GOD. God protects the minds and spirits of HIS PEOPLE. They know this. I believe that much of what they are doing is to help them separate the sheep from the goats. To identify the true believers from the pagans. They plan to KILL everyone who is not willing and/or able to fall in line with their agenda. Anyone who is not willing to bow their knee to their AI GOD. I believed that then and I believe it even more now.
Bear with me on this post because it takes some strange turns and side roads. It is chuck full of information that you need to know. TRUST me, this is not a topic I would ever have selected for myself, I don’t know anything about it, nor do I have any interest in SPACE. But, when GOD tells you to do something, YOU DO IT. The following information is what He revealed to me. I take no credit for it. I may interject my opinions here and there, but you will recognize them as mine. This information is at times very off the wall and seems unbelievable… but it is ALL TRUE! For GOD is not a man that He should lie. This is information He wants you to know.
Let’s start by looking at some logos. Logos as all symbols/sigils provide valuable information as to what is being expressed or represented.

Delta symbol, right side of body – Change is Right and Good!.
Uppercase delta (Δ) at most times means “change” or “the change” in maths. Consider an example, in which a variable x stands for the movement of an object. So, “Δx” means “the change in movement.” Scientists make use of this mathematical meaning of delta in various branches of science.
- in chemistry it is used to denote partial charges and also the chemical shift for nuclear magnetic resonance.
- it is used to denote deletion of a gene in genetics.
- in math, delta symbol is also used to define discriminants in polynomial equations, the area of triangles and macroscopic changes as well as several other things.

What did the letter theta symbolize in ancient Greece?
In a Hubbard Communications Office bulletin, L. Ron Hubbard claims:
“A THETAN is, of course, a Scientology word using the Greek “Theta” which was the Greek symbol for thought or life.

I find this very hard to believe. The only symbolic use of the letter I know of is as an abbreviation of the word “θάνατος” (thanatos, death) when voting for the death penalty in classical Athens.
I do not consider Mr. Hubbard’s writings a source of historically accurate information. However, it seems that a significant amount of people believe he knew what he was talking about. Hence, the question: Was the letter theta used to symbolize “thought or life”, or anything other than death at any point in ancient Greece?

Therianthropy is the recognition and acceptance of the animal within. It makes us what we are, but more importantly who we are. Because there seems to be some confusion over what a therian is and is not, therianthropy is about the inner nature of one’s own self (in other words: our thought life.)
There are many teachers and philosophers who will tell you that as you think in your mind that is what you will be. This is a lie straight from the pit of HELL. The werewolf folklore Their underlying common origin can be traced back to Proto-Indo-European mythology, where lycanthropy is reconstructed as an aspect of the initiation of the warrior class. This is reflected in Iron Age Europe in the Tierkrieger depictions from the Germanic sphere, among others. The standard comparative overview of this aspect of Indo-European mythology is McCone (1987).[5] Such transformations of “men into wolves” in pagan cult were associated with the devil from the early medieval perspective.
The concept of the werewolf in Western and Northern Europe is strongly influenced by the role of the wolf in Germanic paganism (e.g. the French loup-garou is ultimately a loan from the Germanic term), but there are related traditions in other parts of Europe which were not necessarily influenced by Germanic tradition, especially in Slavic Europe and the Balkans, and possibly in areas bordering the Indo-European sphere (the Caucasus) or where Indo-European cultures have been replaced by military conquest in the medieval era (Hungary, Anatolia).[clarification needed]
The term “therianthropy” comes from the Greek theríon [θηρίον], meaning “wild animal” or “beast” (implicitly mammalian), and anthrōpos [ἄνθρωπος], meaning “human being”. It was used to refer to animal transformation folklore of Europe as early as 1901.[1] Sometimes the term “zoanthropy” is used instead.[2]
Therianthropy was used to describe spiritual beliefs in animal transformation in a 1915 Japanese publication, “A History of the Japanese People from the Earliest Times to the End of the Meiji Era”.[3] One source, “The Human Predator”,(HUNTER) raises the possibility the term may have been used as early as the 16th century in criminal trials of suspected werewolves.[4]
History of therianthropy and theriocephaly
Therianthropy refers to the fantastical, or mythological, ability of some humans to change into animals.[5] Therianthropes are said to change forms via shapeshifting. Therianthropy has long existed in mythology, and seems to be depicted in ancient cave drawings[6] such as The Sorcerer, a pictograph executed at the Palaeolithic cave drawings found in the Pyrénées at the Les Trois Frères, France, archeological site.
‘Theriocephaly‘ (Gr. “animal headedness”) refers to beings which have an animal head attached to an anthropomorphic, or human, body; for example, the animal-headed forms of gods depicted in ancient Egyptian religion (such as Ra, Sobek, Anubis).
Mythology of human shapeshifting

Lycanthropy, the transformation of a human into a wolf (or werewolf), is probably the best known form of therianthropy, followed by cynanthropy (transformation into a dog) and ailuranthropy (transformation into a cat).[7] Werehyenas are present in the stories of several African and Eurasian cultures. Ancient Turkic legends from Asia talk of form-changing shamans known as kurtadams, which translates to “wolfman”.[citation needed] Ancient Greeks wrote of kynanthropy, from κύων kyōn[8] (or “dog”), which applied to mythological beings able to alternate between dog form and human form, or who possessed combined dog and human anatomical features.[citation needed]
The term existed by at least 1901, when it was applied to stories from China about humans turning into dogs, dogs becoming people, and sexual relations between humans and canines.[9] Anthropologist David Gordon White called Central Asia the “vortex of cynanthropy” because races of dog-men were habitually placed there by ancient writers. The weredog or cynanthrope is also known in Timor. It is described as a human-canine shapeshifter who is capable of transforming other people into animals, even against their will.[citation needed]
European folklore features werecats, who can transform into panthers or domestic cats of an enlarged size.[10] African legends describe people who turn into lions or leopards, while Asian werecats are typically depicted as becoming tigers.[citation needed]
Skin-walkers and naguals
Some Native American and First Nation legends talk about skin-walkers—people with the supernatural ability to turn into any animal they desire. To do so, however, they first must be wearing a pelt of the specific animal. In the folk religion of Mesoamerica, a nagual (or nahual) is a human being who has the power to magically turn themselves into animal forms—most commonly donkeys, turkeys, and dogs—but can also transform into more powerful jaguars and pumas.[citation needed]
Animal ancestors
In the Irish Mythological Cycle, the Children of Lir could transform into swans.
Stories of humans descending from animals are found in the oral traditions for many tribal and clan origins. Sometimes the original animals had assumed human form in order to ensure their descendants retained their human shapes; other times the origin story is of a human marrying a normal animal.
North American indigenous traditions mingle the ideas of bear ancestors and ursine shapeshifters, with bears often being able to shed their skins to assume human form, marrying human women in this guise. The offspring may be creatures with combined anatomy, they may be very beautiful children with uncanny strength, or they may be shapeshifters themselves.[11]
P’an Hu is represented in various Chinese legends as a supernatural dog, a dog-headed man, or a canine shapeshifter that married an emperor’s daughter and founded at least one race. When he is depicted as a shapeshifter, all of him can become human except for his head. The race(s) descended from P’an Hu were often characterized by Chinese writers as monsters who combined human and dog anatomy.[12]
In Turkic mythology, the wolf is a revered animal. The Turkic legends say the people were descendants of wolves. The legend of Asena is an old Turkic myth that tells of how the Turkic people were created. In the legend, a small Turkic village in northern China is raided by Chinese soldiers, with one baby left behind. An old she-wolf with a sky-blue mane named Asena finds the baby and nurses him. She later gives birth to half-wolf, half-human cubs who are the ancestors of the Turkic people.[13][14]
Shamanism
Ethnologist Ivar Lissner theorised that cave paintings of beings with human and non-human animal features were not physical representations of mythical shapeshifters, but were instead attempts to depict shamans in the process of acquiring the mental and spiritual attributes of various beasts.[15] Religious historian Mircea Eliade has observed that beliefs regarding animal identity and transformation into animals are widespread.[16]
Animal spirits

In Melanesian cultures there exists the belief in the tamaniu or atai, which describes the animal counterpart to a person.[17] Specifically among the Solomon Islands in Melanesia, the term atai means “soul” in the Mota language and is closely related to the term ata, meaning a “reflected image” in Maori and “shadow” in Samoan. Terms relating to the “spirit” in these islands such as figona and vigona convey a being that has not been in human form[18] The animal counterpart depicted, may take the form of an eel, shark, lizard, or some other creature. This creature is considered to be corporeal, and can understand human speech. It shares the same soul as its master. This concept is found in similar legends which have many characteristics typical of shapeshifter tales. Among these characteristics is the theory that death or injury would affect both the human and animal form at once.[17]
Psychiatric aspects
Among a sampled set of psychiatric patients, the belief of being part animal, or clinical lycanthropy, is generally associated with severe psychosis, but not always with any specific psychiatric diagnosis or neurological findings.[19] Others regard clinical lycanthropy as a delusion in the sense of the self-disorder found in affective and schizophrenic disorders, or as a symptom of other psychiatric disorders.[20]
Modern Therianthropy
Therians are individuals who believe or feel that they are non-human animals in a spiritual sense.[21][22] There are also others who claim to have a psychological or neuro-biological connection—rather than a spiritual one—to their creature of identification. Both often use the term “species dysphoria” to describe their feelings of disconnect from their human bodies and their underlying desire to live as their stated creature.[23]
The therian and vampire subcultures are related to the otherkin community, and are considered part of it by most otherkin, but are culturally and historically distinct movements of their own, despite some overlap in membership.[23]

These 2020 Rocket Launchings are all dedicated to COVID 19, they are not about outer space. They are about setting up the surveillance system and preparing the atmosphere for the arrival of the fallen and the inhabitation of demons.
I don’t know how many people even heard of this particular launch. I certainly never did until I was researching the most recent one. This took place just over a couple months earlier.

Black is associated with power, elegance, formality, death, evil, and mystery.
Black is a mysterious color associated with fear and the unknown (black holes). It usually has a negative connotation (blacklist, black humor, ‘black death’). Black denotes strength and authority; it is considered to be a very formal, elegant, and prestigious color (black tie, black Mercedes). In heraldry, black is the symbol of grief.
Black gives the feeling of perspective and depth, but a black background diminishes readability. Black contrasts well with bright colors. Combined with red or orange – other very powerful colors – black gives a very aggressive color scheme. Source
Black has always symbolized death and the underworld, yet it equally symbolizes authority and power. Quite ironically, with all the implied power behind it, black implies submission, which is why priests often wear this color to signify their submission to God. A more widely known use of the color black is to depict negativity and evil, hence the color of Dracula’s cape. Source
Black absorbs and hides and creates confusion and chaos. Black brings discord and confusion within the enemy. Black controls the base chakra, the planet Saturn, the earth element and the original religions, Satanic alchemy, black represents the step into the void of meditation and transformation. Source
WHITE
White is associated with light, goodness, innocence, purity, and virginity. It is considered to be the color of perfection.
White means safety, purity, and cleanliness. As opposed to black, white usually has a positive connotation. White can represent a successful beginning. In heraldry, white depicts faith and purity.
In advertising, white is associated with coolness and cleanliness because it’s the color of snow. You can use white to suggest simplicity in high-tech products. White is an appropriate color for charitable organizations; angels are usually imagined wearing white clothes. White is associated with hospitals, doctors, and sterility, so you can use white to suggest safety when promoting medical products. White is often associated with low weight, low-fat food, and dairy products. Source
So, in my opinion, they used only black and white on this plate to promote duality. And to add the sense of safety and cleanliness to their medical theme. It also forbodes death/destruction as in the coming chaos. It demands submission.

The Gnostics, who believed the world to be at the center of the universe, believed that the ouroboros, or world serpent, marked the boundary between the world and the pleroma of heaven. Some Gnostics equated the world serpent with the evil demiurge (or Satan) who created the world and guards the gateway of escape. Gnostics equated the demiurge with the God of the Old Testament, the Alpha and Omega (the letter omega is similar in form to the Egyptian hieroglyph shen). For the Naassenes and Ophite Gnostic sects, the ouroboros was equated with the serpent in the Garden of Eden. A hero rather than villain, the serpent helped Adam and Eve defy the demiurge Jehovah and obtain the first gnosis (knowledge) by eating the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge. Later, the serpent came to represent the guardian of the Tree of Life and therefore the gatekeeper to immortality. In Roman mythology, the ouroboros was associated with Saturn, the god of time, who joined together the first and last months of the year like the serpent swallowing its tail. Saturn swallowed his children, and, with his scythe, symbolized the devouring of life or mortality. In Renaissance Europe, Saturn continued to be associated with the ouroboros, and his scythe became the symbol of death. This association continued into more modern times, and the ouroboros came to decorate numerous Art Nouveau calendars. The Ouroboros in Alchemy and Magic In alchemy the fundamental message of the ouroboros is the changing of one thing into another, ultimately yielding “All is One.”It is a symbol for Mercurius and the union of opposites.(There you go, you see, this symbolism on the logo is to promote the shapeshifting changing of our DNA.) One of the oldest alchemical texts created in Hellenistic Egypt and included in the 11th-century Codex Marcianus, contains an image of the ouroboros. It symbolizes the underlying unity of the elusive Prima Materia, which exists in all matter and is simultaneously the beginning and goal of the Great Work. It is the Philosopher’s Stone, the vehicle for obtaining immortality, and it also represents the cyclical nature of the alchemical process, which is the union of the male and the female principles, their destruction, and their resurrection and reunification. The Codex Marcianus ouroboros is half black and half white, like the symbol for yin and yang in Taoism, thus depicting the sexual union of opposites that continually creates the world. Later alchemical imagery shows the ouroboros as two serpents devouring each other’s tails, heightening the sexual symbolism. Another representation is two dragons fighting at each other’s throats. The serpent, or snake, is one of the oldest and most widespread mythological symbols. The word is derived from Latin serpens, a crawling animal or snake. Snakes have been associated with some of the oldest rituals known to mankind[1][2]and represent dual expression[3]of good and evil.[4]
Snakes symbolized the umbilical cord, joining all humans to Mother Earth. The Great Goddess often had snakes as her familiars—sometimes twining around her sacred staff, as in ancient Crete—and they were worshiped as guardians of her mysteries of birth and regeneration.[6]

Fertility and rebirth
Historically, serpents and snakes represent fertility or a creative life force. As snakes shed their skin through sloughing, they are symbols of rebirth, transformation, immortality, and healing.[7] The ouroboros is a symbol of eternity and continual renewal of life.
The serpent represents sexual desire.[8] According to some interpretations of the Midrash, the serpent represents sexual passion.[9] In Hinduism, Kundalini is a coiled serpent.[10]
Vengefulness and vindictiveness
Following Christian tradition, serpents are connected with lies, vengefulness and vindictiveness:

This connection also depends in part on the experience that venomous snakes often deliver deadly defensive bites without giving prior notice or warning to their unwitting victims.
Serpents and dragons are used interchangeably, having similar symbolic functions. The venom of the serpent is thought to have a fiery quality similar to a fire spitting dragon. The Greek Ladon and the Norse Níðhöggr (Nidhogg Nagar) are sometimes described as serpents and sometimes as dragons. In Germanic mythology, serpent (Old English: wyrm, Old High German: wurm, Old Norse: ormr) is used interchangeably with the Greek borrowing dragon (OE: draca, OHG: trahho, ON: dreki). In China and especially in Indochina, the Indian serpent nāga was equated with the lóng or Chinese dragon. The Aztec and Toltec serpent god Quetzalcoatl also has dragon like wings, like its equivalent in K’iche’Maya mythologyQ’uq’umatz (“feathered serpent”), which had previously existed since Classic Maya times as the deity named Kukulkan.
Medusa and the other Gorgons were vicious female monsters with sharp fangs and hair of living, venomous snakes whose origins predate the written myths of Greece and who were the protectors of the most ancient ritual secrets. The Gorgons wore a belt of two intertwined serpents in the same configuration of the caduceus. The Gorgon was placed at the center, highest point of one of the pediments on the Temple of Artemis at Corfu.
Asclepius, the son of Apollo and Koronis, learned the secrets of keeping death at bay after observing one serpent bringing another (which Asclepius himself had fatally wounded) back to life with healing herbs. To prevent the entire human race from becoming immortal under Asclepius’s care, Zeus killed him with a bolt of lightning. Asclepius’ death at the hands of Zeus illustrates man’s inability to challenge the natural order that separates mortal men from the gods. In honor of Asclepius, snakes were often used in healing rituals. Non-poisonous snakes were left to crawl on the floor in dormitories where the sick and injured slept. The Bibliotheca claimed that Athena gave Asclepius a vial of blood from the Gorgons. Gorgon blood had magical properties: if taken from the left side of the Gorgon, it was a fatal poison; from the right side, the blood was capable of bringing the dead back to life. However, Euripides wrote in his tragedy Ion that the Athenian queen Creusa had inherited this vial from her ancestor Erichthonios, who was a snake himself and had received the vial from Athena. In this version the blood of Medusa had the healing power while the lethal poison originated from Medusa’s serpents.

Snakes entwined the staffs both of Hermes (the caduceus) and of Asclepius, where a single snake entwined the rough staff. On Hermes’ caduceus, the snakes were not merely duplicated for symmetry, they were paired opposites. (This motif is congruent with the phurba.) The wings at the head of the staff identified it as belonging to the winged messenger, Hermes, the Roman Mercury, who was the god of magic, diplomacy and rhetoric, of inventions and discoveries, the protector both of merchants and that allied occupation, to the mythographers’ view, of thieves. It is however Hermes’ role as psychopomp, the escort of newly deceased souls to the afterlife, that explains the origin of the snakes in the caduceus since this was also the role of the Sumerian entwined serpent god Ningizzida, with whom Hermes has sometimes been equated.
In Late Antiquity, as the arcane study of alchemy developed, Mercury was understood to be the protector of those arts too and of arcane or occult “Hermetic’ information in general. Chemistry and medicines linked the rod of Hermes with the staff of the healer Asclepius, which was wound with a serpent; it was conflated with Mercury’s rod, and the modern medical symbol—which should simply be the rod of Asclepius—often became Mercury’s wand of commerce.

Serpents are connected with poison AND medicine. The snake’s venom is associated with the chemicals of plants and fungi[11][12][13] that have the power to either heal, poison (again, duality, heal or harm, black or white, good or evil) or provide expanded consciousness(This is not expanded consciousness but rather alternate consciousness, it is a removal of the veil that protects us from interaction with demons. A magnitude-4.2 earthquake followed by aftershocks rattled Southern California early Thursday, delivering an alarming wake-up call and several unsettling snooze alarms for many residents in the San Fernando Valley.

Hope Mars Mission aims to unravel the mystery of the red planet’s atmosphere
The United Arab Emirates will launch the Hope probe, a car-sized Martian meteorologist, in July.
July is an incredibly busy month for Martian explorers, with NASA and the Chinese space agency attempting to land rovers on Mars’ surface. A third mission, led by the United Arab Emirates, may be the most important of all and could unravel some of the lingering mysteries about Mars’ unusual atmosphere.
It’s known as “Al Amal,” or “Hope.”
When the Hope satellite reaches Mars in 2021, it’ll be the first probe to offer a full picture of the Martian atmosphere, providing a holistic view of how Mars’ climate varies throughout the year. But here on Earth, it may achieve something even more important: providing hope to a younger generation, bringing more women into STEM and promoting collaboration between nations.
There’s something else that makes it a first: Hope is the first interplanetary mission led by an Arab, Muslim-majority country.
“The intent was not to put a message or declaration to the world,” says Sarah Al Amiri, chair of the UAE Council of Scientists and deputy project manager for the Emirates Mars Mission. “It was, for us, more of an internal reinforcement of what the UAE is about.”
The satellite, which launches from Japan in July, will study the connections between the red planet’s lower and upper atmosphere and look into what causes the loss of hydrogen and oxygen into space. After achieving its orbit around Mars in February 2021, it’ll collect data for two years. There’s also an option to extend the mission to 2025.
Her Excellency Sarah bint Yousif Al Amiri has been appointed as Minister of State for Advanced Sciences. Her Excellency is the Chairwoman of UAE Space Agency and the UAE Council of Scientists. She also holds the position of Emirates Mars Mission Deputy Project Manager at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre.
It’s no coincidence Hope will arrive at Mars the year the UAE celebrates its 50th anniversary. The mission is an act of resilience for the young nation. When the UAE announced in 2014 that it would launch the Hope Mars Mission, it was a tumultuous time for the region. Throughout the Middle East, nations were (and many still are)embroiled in anti-government protests and uprisings. Terrorist organizations like ISIS were gaining a stronghold and recruiting efforts were focused on one particular group: young people.
In the region, members of that younger demographic are demanding new opportunities from their governments. The Hope Mars Mission (also called the Emirates Mars Mission) seems like the perfect way to offer that. Ninety percent of team members are 35 and under.
“From a region that’s primarily made up of youth, it was very important for governments and nations to provide opportunities for them and to provide them with a beacon of hope,” Al Amiri says. This, combined with the UAE’s push to diversify its economy as its oil supply dwindles, made a Mars mission a compelling choice, she says.
A global effort
International collaborationis a critical element of the Hope Mars Mission. The UAE is working with the University of Colorado, Boulder; the University of California, Berkeley; and Arizona State University on the mission. (Just like they conspired to keep whatever is in Antarctica from the world, just like they conspire together at CERN, they have conspired to use the Space Hoax to control the masses. Wake UP! The probe will carry three scientific instruments. First is the Emirates Exploration Imager (EXI), a camera that can capture and send high-resolution images back to Earth. The Emirates Mars Infrared Spectrometer (EMIRS) will study temperature patterns, ice, water vapor and dust in the atmosphere. And the Emirates Mars Ultraviolet Spectrometer (EMUS) will study the upper atmosphere and traces of hydrogen and oxygen further into space.
Throughout history, international collaborations like this one have given space exploration a leg up, even when political relations between nations were lukewarm. At the height of the Cold War, the US and Soviet Union embarked on the 1975 Apollo-Soyuz Mission. This joint space flight became the impetus for future collaborations. And the International Space Station has notably brought together a plethora of nations including the US, Russia, Japan and Canada.
Philip Christensen, principal investigator of the EMIRS on the Hope orbiter and professor of geological sciences at Arizona State University, says international cooperation is critical. It not only helps mitigate the challenges and expenses of Mars exploration, but it can advance our understanding of worlds beyond. (If they can come together to waste money on “space”, why can’t they come together to do something concrete to care for PEOPLE? To stop the slavery, stop the torture, stop the killing? “Space has always seemed to be an area where nations could put aside their differences and realize there are ways we can work together, diffuse tensions and learn a little bit more about each other,” Christensen says. “Many countries are starting to look at international partnerships as the wave of the future. This is how Mars exploration should be done.” (This is just about creating a ONE WORLD DICTATORSHIP!)
Hope is one of four missions going to Mars this year, in addition to NASA’s Mars 2020 rover mission, the European Space Agency’s ExoMars rover Rosalind Franklin and China’s Mars explorer.
“We see a broader interest in exploration and the UAE coming up with the Hope mission is just further proof of that,” says Frederic Nordlund, head of ESA’s external relations department. “Exploration is very relevant for any society interested in lifting up its education, science and technological base, or reorienting its economy toward new sectors.” (Much more relevant is finding was grow food, real food to feed the masses; finding ways to stop polluting the air and water and provide the energy that we need to provide all the basic needs to every home in the world. How about finding ways to use technology to promote humanity instead of ROBOTICS and AI. How about creating jobs for people, instead of replacing them with machines? How about using technology to build up our infrastructure like roads, bridges? How about tearing down the ghettos and building affordable housing for everyone?)
This mission is on schedule, but that doesn’t mean there haven’t been challenges along the way. The UAE is a new player in the space game, going from zero space capability to building its own satellites in just over 10 years. But an interplanetary mission like Hope is around five times more complex than Earth observation. To begin with, there are budgetary restrictions. The core cost hasn’t yet been shared, but the UAE “didn’t get a blank spreadsheet,” Al Amiri says.
Then there are mission-specific challenges. Mars is an average of around 140 million miles away and a mission like this demands high navigational accuracy. The further you get from Earth, the harder it is to make course corrections in time. The probe also has to be highly autonomous, because once it reaches Mars, it’ll take about 14 minutes for a radio signal to reach it and another 14 minutes for a response to be recorded.
But it’ll be worth it. Mapping Mars’ atmosphere, climate and the movement of gases will not only help scientists learn more about the red planet, but help us understand more about our own climate and atmosphere here on Earth, according to Al Amiri.
Hope also offers an opportunity to promote women in STEM. The mission team is 34% women, as well as 50% women in leadership roles. Al Amiri says this reflects a growing interest among women to enter the sciences and a need for the UAE to develop programs that’ll allow it to achieve gender parity in STEM.
The Hope mission is just the beginning of the UAE’s foray into space. The nation pledged a long-term commitment to planetary and space exploration with its plan to “establish the first inhabitable human settlement in Mars by 2117.” That, too, will require international collaboration.
“I would like to think that the exploration of space — Mars and beyond — is something that should and will be a collaborative international effort,” Christensen says, “and not a competition.”
