UPDATE 2/23/24
A friend has offered to do the driving for me. Instead of having to pay for shipping our truck, and paying to fly up to Michigan, we are going to ride in a PENSKE TRUCK and pull our car on a car hauler.
It is still very expensive because of the distance. The Truck and car loader would cost us $1,899.00 + gas, mileage and days traveled. We can make it in 3 days so we will have to have accommodations for two nights and food while traveling.
We are still looking into other options. No matter which way we look at it…we need a financial blessing.

WOW, it took a very long time and lots of effort, but my son and I are finally approved for an apartment in Michigan. It will be such a load off both of our shoulders to have family around to help us navigate through the rest of our lives. We have been all alone for so long.
Moving all the way from Texas to Michigan is a major undertaking. It is also very EXPENSIVE! Everything connected with moving is charged according to distance. It is over 1,000 miles from Corsicana, TX to Madison Heights, Michigan.
We DESPERATELY NEED HELP! If you can help in any way, it will be greatly appreciated. Any amount of money will make a difference. No donation to small. It all adds up.
Please PRAY for us. Pray that GOD will be in control of every aspect of our Move. Pray for travel mercies, for good weather, for Angels to go before us, behind us and to lift us up from underneath. Pray that we are able to make the trip without incident and arrive safely ON TIME to sign our lease.
Any one time gift you send to help with our move will not count as income when considering us for Housing. I already confirmed that. So, please do not hesitate to send whatever you can, if you feel moved.
I am really not in condition to make this move on my own. I used to move me and my children in a UHAUL in my younger years, no problem. BUT, now my eyes are not what they used to be, my knees and ankles don’t work to well and I get exhausted much more easily.
